Al digno pueblo binizza de Álvaro Obregón, Juchitán, Oaxaca

Hermanas y hermanos

Con rabia e indignación vemos desde nuestros pueblos, tribus, comunidades, organizaciones y barrios, como el mal gobierno se jacta de demostrar su nula vergüenza, a través de sus partidos políticos de todos los colores, mientras el mal gobierno siga agrediendo a nuestros pueblos y sus partidos políticos sigan intentando imponer la división en nuestras comunidades, nuestra palabra no se cansará de denunciar y gritar ¡Ya Basta!

El 14 de mayo pasado, con saña y de manera desvergonzada, las armas de los policías y guarda espaldas de la candidata del pan-prd Gloria Sánchez López, se atrevieron a apuntar sus armas asesinas contra el digno pueblo de Álvaro Obregón, Juchitán, hiriendo a seis compañeros que se encontraban en la asamblea, defendiendo su territorio físico y político, de los proyectos eólicos de muerte, su energía “limpia” está sucia de sangre, corrupción y muerte. Los candidatos de todos los partidos políticos, que sienten que aun siendo candidatos ya pueden beneficiarse de la impunidad que les otorga el pertenecer a la banda de criminales que mal gobierna el estado de Oaxaca y al país, cree que con balas lograrán cambiar la conciencia y matar la dignidad del pueblo binizza.

La política nacional deja en evidencia cada vez más que no hay vergüenza ya en la clase política, que creen que podrán agredir, amenazar y amedrentar la digna lucha de los pueblos. Con agresiones y violencia intentan sembrar el miedo en los dignos corazones que defienden la tierra, el agua y los vientos. desde los cuatro puntos cardinales de nuestros territorios indígenas les decimos ¡No Podrán!  No podrán quitarnos la rabia que en nuestros corazones se convierten en solidaridad, No podrán arrancarnos la dignidad de luchar por defender nuestros territorios ya la vida de nuestros pueblos, No podrán amedrentar la digna lucha del pueblo binizza que honra al Congreso Nacional Indígena al ser integrante desde hace ya muchos años.

Por lo anterior, hermanas y hermanos de Alvaro Obregón, Juchitán, Oaxaca, desde los cuatro rumbos de nuestros territorios les decimos ¡No están solas! ¡No están solos!, nos declaramos en contra de los actos que el mal gobierno de México y de Oaxaca, a través de su secuaz Saúl Vicente Vázquez, presidente municipal de Juchitán, realizan contra los derechos de autodeterminación y autonomía del pueblo de Alvaro Obregón.

Denunciamos que las cobardes agresiones, con armas de fuego del día 14 y las amenazas que continúan, son un intento por intimidar a la comunidad de Alvaro Obregón que se opone a la instalación de proyectos eólicos en su territorio, a los políticos les da coraje que no podrán obtener sus ganancias por que se instalen estos proyectos de muerte y creen que con amedrentar al pueblo lo lograrán. ¡Se equivocan!

Por todo lo anterior declaramos que:

• Responsabilizamos al gobierno de Gabino Cue y de Saúl Vicente Vázquez de las agresiones que ocurrieron y siguen sucediendo contra la asamblea de la comunidad de Alvaro Obregon, Juchitan, Oaxaca.
• Exigimos la investigación y el castigo de los responsables de los disparos que realizaron la policía municipal de Juchitán y los guardaespaldas de Gloria Sánchez López.
• Que se cancelen los proyectos eólicos que se intentan imponer en el territorio de la comunidad Alvaro Obregón.
• Exigimos que Gloria Sánchez López y todos los candidatos dejen de intentar imponer su sistema de partidos a la comunidad de Alvaro Obregón.
• Exigimos que se respete el legítimo derecho del pueblo Binizza de elegir a sus propias autoridades de manera autónoma.
• A la comunidad de Alvaro Obregón, Juchitán, Oaxaca les decimos, no están solos, como CNI estaremos pendientes de que estos hechos no vuelvan a ocurrir y que haremos escuchar nuestra vos desde todos los rincones de nuestro ensangrentado país.

¡Por la reconstitución integral de nuestros pueblos!
¡Nunca más un México sin nosotros!

Sisters and Brothers

Our peoples, tribes, communities, organizations, and neighborhoods see with rage and indignation how the bad government boasts its total lack of shame, through its political parties of every color, as it continues to attack our peoples and its political parties continue trying to divide our communities. Our voice will not tire of denouncing and shouting, Enough!

On May 14, brutally and shamelessly, the police and bodyguards of the PAN-PRD candidate Gloria Sánchez López dared to aim their murderous weapons at the dignified community of Álvaro Obregón, Juchitán, injuring the six compañeros who were in an assembly, defending their physical and political territory from deadly wind energy projects, whose “clean” energy is filthy with blood, corruption, and death. The candidates from all of the political parties—who even though they are only candidates feel they can already benefit from the impunity they are granted for belonging to the band of criminals badly governing the state of Oaxaca and the country—believe that with bullets they will manage to change the conscience and kill the dignity of the Binizza people.

National politics makes it increasingly clear that the political class has no shame. They believe that they can attack, threaten and intimidate the dignified struggle of the people. With aggressions and violence they try to sow fear in the dignified hearts that defend the land, the water, and the wind. From the four cardinal directions of our indigenous territories we say to them: you cannot! You cannot stop the rage in our hearts from turning into solidarity; you cannot strip us of the dignity of struggling to defend our territories and the life of our peoples; you cannot intimidate the dignified struggle of the Binizza people, who have honored the National Indigenous Congress by being a member for many years now.

Therefore, brothers and sisters of Álvaro Obregón, Juchitán, Oaxaca, from the four directions of our territories we say to you, you are not alone! You are not alone! We declare ourselves against the acts that the bad government of Mexico and Oaxaca, through their henchman Saúl Vicente Vázquez, municipal president of Juchitán, carry out against the rights to self-determination and autonomy of the people of Álvaro Obregón.

We denounce that the cowardly aggressions made with firearms on May 14 and the ongoing threats. These are an attempt to intimidate the community of Álvaro Obregón, which opposes the installation of wind energy projects in their territory. The politicians get angry when they cannot make their profits by installing these projects of death and who believe that by intimidating the people they will be able to. They are mistaken!

Because of all of this we declare that:

We hold the government of Gabino Cue and Saúl Vicente Vázquez responsible for the aggressions that have occurred and continue to occur against the assembly of the community of Álvaro Obregón, Juchitan, Oaxaca.

We demand the investigation and punishment of those responsible for the shots fired by the municipal police of Juchitán and the bodyguards of Gloria Sánchez López.

[We demand] the cancellation of the wind energy projects that they are trying to impose on the territory of the Álvaro Obregón community.

We demand that Gloria Sánchez López and all of the candidates stop trying to impose their party system on the community of Álvaro Obregón.

We demand that they respect the legitimate rights of the Binizza people to elect their own authorities in an autonomous manner.

To the community of Álvaro Obregón, Juchitán, Oaxaca, we say, you are not alone; as the CNI we will be vigilant to make sure these events do not happen again and we will make our voice heard from every corner of our blood-soaked country.
