Donde los de arriba destruyen, los de abajo reconstruimos

El Congreso Nacional Indígena y el Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional, reunidos durante 6 días en el Caracol 1 de la Realidad, denunciaron ampliamente los distintos despojos contra los pueblos indígenas a lo largo y ancho del territorio nacional. “Ese despojo tiene un nombre y es el capitalismo”, afirmó Venustiano Vázquez Navarrete, delegado del pueblo wixarika, quien junto con Miriam Vargas dieron lectura al primero de los pronunciamientos de clausura.

En este evento Armando García Salazar, perteneciente al pueblo ñ’hañhú, leyó un comunicado donde anuncia la convocatoria al Primer Gran Festival Mundial de las Rebeldías y las Resistencias, que se llevará a cabo entre los días 21 de diciembre de este año y 3 de enero de 2015 en 6 estados del país.

“Where those from above destroy, we from below rebuild”

The Indigenous National Congress and the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, meeting together for 6 days in Caracol 1 of La Realidad, widely denounced the different dispossessions against the indigenous peoples throughout the national territory. “This dispossession has a name and that name is capitalism,” said Venustiano Vázquez Navarrete, delegate from the Wixarika people, who along with Miriam Vargas, read the first of the closing statements.

In this event Armando García Salazar, belonging to ñ’hañhú people, read a communiqué announcing the call to the First Great World Festival of Rebellions and Resistances, which will be held on the days from 21 December this year until 3 January 2015, in 6 states of the country.

Ni los largos recorridos hechos por algunos delegados hasta la comunidad tojolabal anfitriona ni el pesado calor lograron bajar los ánimos; los distintos participantes de los 70 pueblos asistentes escucharon con atención las palabras finales que contenían detalladas denuncias que colocaron nombres y cifras a los responsables de la destrucción del país. No se escatimó el tiempo para precisar el nivel en que el capitalismo ha dividido y ha permitido que diferentes niveles de gobierno saqueen los territorios indígenas.

El pronunciamiento, además de denunciar el despojo contra los pueblos originarios, construyó un reflejo de sus luchas actuales: ¨Son despojos que siguen tan vivos como en ese entonces y que además se han multiplicado por nuevas formas y nuevos rincones que se hacen luchas y resistencias en las que vemos espejos que se reflejan en el espejo que somos”. Fue a través de 30 espejos en que se mostraron las imágenes de las resistencias.

Érica Sebastián, loxicha e hija del preso político Álvaro Sebastián, leyó la “Declaración sobre la represión en contra de nuestros pueblos”, documento que sintetiza una de las principales temáticas abordadas en la compartición del CNI con el EZLN.

Será el Festival Mundial de las Rebeldías y las Resistencias una reunión sin precedentes que comenzará en la comunidad ñ’hañhú de San Francisco Xochicuautla el próximo 21 de diciembre y continuará en Amilcingo, Morelos, hasta el día 23; luego seguirá, del día 24 al 26, el Gran Festival Cultural en la Ciudad de México. Los días 28 y 29 habrá comparticiones en Juchitán, Oaxaca y en un estado de la península de Yucatán, aún por definirse. Tras los traslados, el evento continuará con la Fiesta de la Rebeldía y la Resistencia Capitalista en el Caracol 2 de Oventic; finalmente, los días 2 y 3 de enero se llevarán a cabo los resolutivos y la clausura en la Universidad de la Tierra-CIDECI, en el estado de Chiapas.

En esta compartición de La Realidad, el Subcomandante Insurgente Moisés hizo un llamado a la Sexta nacional e internacional para fortalecer la organización social. Enfatizó que, a través de los gobiernos y el sistema capitalista no habrá una justicia verdadera: ¨Nadie sabe más cómo debe ser una buena justicia en el mundo, no nada más en un país, sólo los que olemos a sudor, los que olemos a pobreza.¨

Finalmente el Comandante David dio por concluidas las actividades en La Realidad zapatista.

Neither the long journeys made by some delegates to the Tojolabal host community nor the heavy heat managed to lower the spirits; the various participants from the 70 peoples attending listened attentively to the final words which containing detailed denouncements and gave the names and numbers of those responsible for the destruction of the country. They spared no time specifying the level to which capitalism has divided and has already allowed different levels of government to plunder the indigenous territories.

The communiqué, as well as denouncing the dispossession against the original peoples, built a reflection of their current struggles: “there are dispossessions which are happening now, and which have also multiplied in new ways and new corners which have made the struggles and resistances mirrors in which we see reflected the mirror which we are.” It was through 30 mirrors that they showed images of the resistances.

Érica Sebastián, Loxicha and daughter of the political prisoner Álvaro Sebastián, read the “Declaration on the repression against our people,” a document which summarizes one of the main themes addressed in the exchange of the CNI with the EZLN.

The Worldwide Festival of Rebellions and Resistances will be an unprecedented meeting, which will begin in the ñ’hañhú community of San Francisco Xochicuautla on 21 December and continue in Amilcingo, Morelos, until the 23rd; it will then continue, from the 24th to the 26th, as the Great Cultural Festival in Mexico City. On the 28th and 29th there will be exchanges in Juchitan, Oaxaca and in a state of the Yucatan Peninsula, which remains to be defined.
