firmantes de la VI Declaración y de la Declaración por la Vida:

La Comisión Sexta Zapatista tiene el honor de invitarles a las jornadas de pensamiento crítico, arte, resistencia y rebeldía para este año del 2026:

ResignARTE u OrganizARTE

En estas actividades se tratará de exponer sus experiencias artísticas, organizativas y de acción frente a la tormenta que el mundo padece. La idea es señalar que, ante la brutalidad de la tormenta, aparecen dos opciones o caminos: uno es resignarse, rendirse pues, y que sea lo que el destino o los dioses de cada quien decidan; el otro es organizarse y luchar para la resistencia y la rebeldía.

En las siguientes fechas:

Días 2, 3 y 4 de abril del 2026. Semillero de la Comisión Sexta: La Tormenta dentro y fuera según las comunidades y pueblos zapatistas. Sede: CIDECI de San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, México.

Agosto del 2026.
     Encuentro todas las Artes. Temas: “ResignARTE u OrganizARTE”. Sede por definir.
     Encuentro Mundial de Resistencias y Rebeldías I: “Organizarte o Resignarte”. Sede por definir.

Diciembre- enero 2026-2027.
     Encuentro Mundial de Resistencias y Rebeldías II: “Organizarte o Resignarte”. Sede por definir.

The Zapatista Sixth Commission has the honor of inviting you to the days of critical thinking, art, resistance, and rebellion for this year, 2026:

ResignARTE u OrganizARTE [Resign or Organize Yourself through ART]

These activities will explore artistic, organizational, and activist experiences in the face of the storm the world is enduring. The idea is to highlight that, faced with the brutality of the storm, two options or paths emerge: one is to resign oneself, to surrender, and let fate or one’s own gods decide; the other is to organize and fight for resistance and rebellion.

On the following dates:

April 2, 3, and 4, 2026. Seedbed of the Sixth Commission: The Storm Within and Without, According to the Zapatista Communities and Peoples. Venue: CIDECI, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.

August 2026.

Encounter of All the Arts. Themes: “ResignARTE u OrganizARTE” [Resign or Organize Yourself through ART] Venue to be determined.
