Entrevista detallada con Alejandro Reyes sobre la situación actual de la represión y la guerra de baja intensidad en Chiapas que se hace contra comunidades zapatistas y organizaciones de derechos humanos. Entre otros temas, se discuten: la coyuntura del Proyecto Mesoamérica, las llamadas “ciudades rurales sustentables,” y el eco-turismo; reportes detallados sobre la represión en Mitzitón, Bachajón, Tila, y la costa; y las implicaciones de la muerte de don Samuel Ruiz. Todo eso se analiza en el contexto de la reciente carta del sup al profesor Luis Villoro, titulado “Apuntes sobre las guerras.”
