COMUNICADO DE REGENERACIÓN RADIO
22 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2015

Ayer por la mañana el colectivo Regeneración Radio ceso sus labores de comunicación por una situación insostenible: los ataques porriles del grupo 3 de Marzo.

Decidimos desde tempranas horas resguardarnos en el edificio de la dirección, para proteger nuestra integridad.

Cerca de las 3 de la tarde en la explanada central uno de nuestros compañeros fue golpeado por un grupo de aproximadamente ocho porros con olor a tiner.

A su vez se estaba realizando una reunión de los colectivos y los estudiantes organizados para coordinar cuales serían las medidas de seguridad; el grupo porril comenzó a identificar a nuestros compañeros de la radio y de los demás espacios, así como a los estudiantes; comenzaron a golpear y agredir.

Inmediatamente algunos de nosotros nos resguardamos en el edificio de la dirección, cerrando puertas y ventanas.

Cheran Kéri, ejemplo necesario ante la violenta incertidumbre nacional

Muertes, fosas clandestinas, impunidad, descabezados y tantos más actos de violencia son el cotidiano despertar de cada día para miles en este país. Hambre, miseria, desempleo, marginación, enfermedad y exclusión social es la realidad para otro buen tanto de millones de mexicanos. Así, aunque los medios masivos de comunicación hayan firmado un pacto con el gobierno federal, para no hacer apología de la violenta situación, la sabemos y la vivimos.

Afirma Naomi Klein, en su libro La doctrina del Shock, que el efecto causado por los golpes económicos a poblaciones enteras siempre van acompañados de golpes militaristas, así, hambre y miedo se convierten en el campo perfecto para que el capitalismo pueda continuar enriqueciéndose a costa de las mayorías. En sus propias palabras lo describe brevemente y de mejor forma así: «El shock del propio golpe militar fue seguido inmediatamente por dos formas adicionales de choque. Una de ellas fue el ‘tratamiento de choque’ capitalista, marca de la casa Milton Friedman, una técnica que cientos de economistas latinoamericanos habían aprendido durante sus estancias en la Universidad de Chicago y a través de las diversas instituciones y franquicias del método. El otro fueron las técnicas de shock de Ewen Cameron, la privación sensorial y la aplicación de drogas y otras tácticas, recopiladas ya en el manual Kubark y diseminadas por toda la zona gracias a los amplios programas de entrenamiento de la CIA de los que se habían beneficiado la policía y los estamentos militares latinoamericanos».

After the report published by the international GIEI group, the relatives of the disappeared and murdered students from Ayotzinapa, n a press conference at the Prodh Human Rights Center, demand a meeting with Peña Nieto before September 10 to demand compliance with prior agreements and that the GIEI report be considered in the investigations; likewise, they reiterate that “the events in Cocula never took place,” and therefore those who fabricated and supported the “historic lie” should be investigated and tried.

“We don’t believe in them… here’s the proof… they denied it for months, the lie fell apart…”

Messing With Major

His name is Major — (his real name)–Major Tillery of West Philadelphia. Although he had a reputation as a gangster, in prison such things matter little. It’s as a jailhouse lawyer that he shook the prison walls in the case known as Tillery v. Owens, a ground-breaking prison conditions case where double-dealing (or the placement of four men in a cell) was declared unconstitutional. The prison medical department was declared unconstitutional and living conditions in part of the prison were declared a violation of the constitution.

Shortly after his glorious win, Major Tillery was sent to a prison in another state. Retaliation? Sure looks like it.

Several months ago, Major saw me in the library, and expressed shock at my appearance, my carriage, and my level of wakefulness. He argued with me, insisting I go to the prison infirmary.

A commission of the community of Ostula was in Mexico City for an informational meeting with a collectives, organizations and individuals adherents to the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle. At the meeting they spoke of the community’s situation and organization, the economic, legal, and health problems they are facing, and the case of Cemeí Verdía.
