Hermanas y hermanos:

Las familias, barrios, tribus, naciones y pueblos originarios agrupados en el Congreso Nacional Indígena (CNI) denunciamos el allanamiento y robo perpetrado en la casa de Guadalupe Núñez Salaza, quien es concejal de la Costa de Chiapas ante el Concejo Indígena de Gobierno (CIG).

El 2 de octubre, siendo las 4:00 am, personas desconocidas se introdujeron en el domicilio de la compañera Guadalupe Núñez Salaza (ubicado en la Calle 1º de Mayo núm. 73 de la Colonia Evolución en la ciudad de Tonalá, Chiapas), de donde hurtaron dinero, aparatos electrónicos y documentos oficiales. Todos estos hecho se registran durante la etapa de apoyo que los concejales del CIG despliegan en las comunidades afectadas por el terremoto del 7 de septiembre de 2017, así como de la entrega de ayuda humanitaria, de la reconstrucción de viviendas y del proceso organizativo del Concejo Indígena de Gobierno.

Ante este contexto, los pueblos indígenas del CNI exigimos se desarrolle una investigación a fondo, para con ello dar cuenta tanto de los responsables directos de los hechos, así como de mostrar cómo estos mecanismos buscan intimidar a las personas, los pueblos y las luchas de resistencia. Es así como los pueblos exigimos verdad y justicia. De igual forma, señalamos que estos hechos representan una amenaza para la compañera Guadalupe Núñez Salaza y su familia, así como para los integrantes del Frente Cívico Tonalteco y del Concejo Autónomo Regional de la Zona Costa de Chiapas, ante lo cual llamamos a los organismos de derechos humanos a estar atento sobre próximos actos intimidatorios.

Exigimos respeto ante el proceso organizativo que desde el Concejo Indígena de Gobierno se viene desarrollando por diversas regiones de México. Les recordamos que se llegó la hora del florecimiento de nuestros pueblos, por tanto les informamos que seguiremos construyendo la resistencia, la rebeldía y la autonomía desde abajo y a la izquierda, junto a los explotados de México y el mundo.

The originary peoples, families, barrios, tribes, and nations that make up the National Indigenous Congress (CNI) denounce the raid and robbery perpetrated at the home of Guadalupe Núñez Salaza, councilwoman from the Coast of Chiapas for the Indigenous Governing Council (CIG).

On October 2 at 4:00am, unknown individuals entered the home of the compañera Guadalupe Núñez Salaza (located at #73 1º de Mayo Street, Evolución district in the city of Tonalá, Chiapas), where they stole money, electronics, and official documents. This took place while CIG council members had gone to the communities affected by the earthquake of September 7, 2017, to provide humanitarian aid, reconstruct housing, and carry out the organizational process of the Indigenous Governing Council.

Given this context, we originary peoples of the CNI demand an in-depth investigation in order that the direct perpetrators of these acts be found, and also to show how these mechanisms seek to intimidate individuals, peoples, and struggles in resistance. This is how we as peoples demand truth and justice. We also call attention to the fact that these events represent a threat against the compañera Guadalupe Núñez Salaza and her family, as well as against the members of the Tonalteco Civic Front and the Autonomous Regional Council of the Coastal Zone of Chiapas. Given this, we call on human rights organizations to be alert to further acts of intimidation.

We demand respect for the organizational process that the Indigenous Governing Council is developing across diverse regions of Mexico. We remind all that the hour for the flourishing of our peoples has arrived, and that therefore we will continue building resistance, rebellion, and autonomy from below and to the left, together with the exploited peoples of Mexico and the world.
