CONVOCATORIA ZAPATISTA A ACTIVIDADES 2016.

Considerando:

Primero: Que la grave crisis que sacude al mundo entero y que habrá de agudizarse, pone en riesgo la supervivencia del planeta y todo lo que lo puebla, incluyendo a los seres humanos.

Segundo: Que la política de arriba no sólo es incapaz de idear y construir soluciones, también es una de las responsables directas de la catástrofe ya en curso.

Tercero: Que las ciencias y las artes son quienes rescatan lo mejor de la humanidad.

Cuarto: Que las ciencias y las artes representan ya la única oportunidad seria de construcción de un mundo más justo y racional.

Quinto: Que los pueblos originarios y quienes viven, resisten y luchan en los sótanos en todo el mundo son poseedores, entre otras, de una sabiduría fundamental: la de la supervivencia en condiciones adversas.

Sexto: Que el zapatismo sigue apostando, en vida y muerte, por la Humanidad.

La Comisión Sexta del EZLN y las bases de apoyo zapatistas:

CONVOCAN A ARTISTAS, CIENTÍFICOS FORMALES Y NATURALES, A L@S COMPAÑER@S DE LA SEXTA NACIONAL E INTERNACIONAL, AL CONGRESO NACIONAL INDÍGENA, Y A CUALQUIER SER HUMANO QUE SE SIENTA INTERPELAD@, A LAS SIGUIENTES ACTIVIDADES:

UNO. – AL FESTIVAL Y COMPARTICIÓN “CompARTE POR LA HUMANIDAD”. QUE SE CELEBRARÁ DE LOS DÍAS 17 al 30 de julio del 2016.

Podrán participar tod@s quienes tengan como práctica el ARTE. Para el zapatismo, artista es toda persona que reivindique su actividad como arte, independientemente de cánones, crític@s de arte, museos, wikipedias y demás esquemas “especialistas” que clasifican (es decir: excluyen) las actividades humanas.

El festival tendrá dos grandes eventos:

El uno en el CIDECI, San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, México; y en las sedes y calendarios alternos que se implementen según la asistencia que se confirme. En él participarán todas las personas, grupos y colectivos que se hayan inscrito y/o hayan sido invitadas para tal efecto. La fecha límite para registrarse es el día 15 de junio del 2016 inclusive. El correo electrónico para registro en esta actividad es compArte@ezln.org.mx.

El otro uno será en el Caracol de Oventik, Chiapas, México. En él participarán sólo las bases de apoyo zapatistas con sus expresiones artísticas. Para ello, desde este mes de febrero y hasta el mes de junio del 2016, en las comunidades, regiones y zonas zapatistas, decenas de miles de hombres, mujeres, niños y ancianos zapatistas realizarán reuniones y festivales para decidir las formas de su intervención artística y seleccionar a quienes habrán de participar. La parte zapatista del festival iniciará el 17 de julio del 2016.

La participación de artistas invitad@s y registrad@s podrá ser con su mismo arte o con una reflexión sobre tal.

La entrada es libre (previo registro).

DOS. – A la FIESTA EN HOMENAJE AL CONGRESO NACIONAL INDÍGENA, por sus 20 años de lucha y resistencia, A CELEBRARSE EL 12 DE OCTUBRE DEL 2016 en el CIDECI de San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, México. En los días previos y posteriores, el Congreso Nacional Indígena realizará las actividades que considere pertinentes en el o los lugares que decida. El registro para participantes observadores en el festejo en honor del CNI es en el correo electrónico: CNI20aniversario@ezln.org.mx.

TRES. – Al encuentro “L@s Zapatistas y las conCIENCIAS POR LA HUMANIDAD” A CELEBRARSE ENTRE LOS DÍAS 25 de diciembre del 2016 y el 4 de enero del 2017 en el CIDECI de San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, México.

En este encuentro participarán SOLAMENTE l@s científicos formales y naturales invitad@s, así como, en calidad de alumn@s, jóvenes y jóvenas bases de apoyo zapatistas quienes presentarán sus dudas, preguntas y cuestionamientos a l@s científic@s asistentes. Aunque la entrada será libre (previo registro), sólo podrán tomar la palabra l@s ponentes y l@s jóven@s zapatistas que hayan sido seleccionad@s en sus comunidades, regiones y zonas para asistir. No habrá examen para l@s alumn@s; pero para l@s científic@s… bueno, pues buena suerte con las preguntas. Correo electrónico para registro de asistencia como escuchas: conCIENCIAS@ezln.org.mx.

ZAPATISTA CALL FOR ACTIVITIES 2016

Considering:

First: That the serious crisis that shakes the entire world, and that will only worsen, puts the survival of the planet and the entire population, including human beings, at risk.

Second: That politics from above is not only incapable of coming up with and constructing solutions, but is also among those directly responsible for the catastrophe already underway.

Third: That the sciences and the arts rescue the best of humanity.

Fourth: That the sciences and the arts now represent the only serious opportunity for the construction of a more just and rational world.

Fifth: That the originary peoples and those who live, resist, and struggle in the basements of the entire world possess, among other things, a fundamental wisdom: that of survival in adverse conditions.

Sixth: That Zapatismo continues betting, in life and death, on Humanity.

The Sixth Commission of the EZLN and the Zapatista bases of support:

CONVOKE ARTISTS, FORMAL AND NATURAL SCIENTISTS, COMPAÑER@S OF THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SIXTH, THE NATIONAL INDIGENOUS CONGRESS, AND WHATEVER HUMAN BEING WHO FEELS CALLED, TO THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

ONE: TO THE FESTIVAL AND SHARING EXCHANGE “CompARTE FOR HUMANITY” WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE July 17-30, 2016.

All those who practice ART can participate. For Zapatismo, an artist is anyone who considers their activity as art, independent of canons, art critics, museums, wikipedias, and any other “specialist” schemas that classify (that is, exclude) human activities.

The festival will have two major events:

The first will be at CIDECI, San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, México, and in any other venues and alternative calendars that are implemented according to the attendance confirmed. All persons, groups, and collectives who register and/or have been invited can participate in this event. The deadline for registration is up to and including June 15, 2016. The email where you can register for this activity is compArte@ezlnorg.mx.

The other will be at the Caracol of Oventik, Chiapas, Mexico. In this event only Zapatista bases of support will offer their artistic expressions. To this end, from the month of February through the month of June, 2016, in the Zapatista communities, regions, and zones, tens of thousands of men, women, children, and elderly Zapatistas will hold meetings and festivals to decide the forms of their artistic expression and select who will participate. The Zapatista part of the festival will begin July 17, 2016.

Invited and registered artists can offer their art itself or a reflection on it.

TWO: To the FESTIVAL IN HOMAGE TO THE NATIONAL INDIGENOUS CONGRESS for its 20 years of struggle and resistance, TO BE HELD OCTOBER 12, 2016, at CIDECI in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. In the days before and after the event, the National Indigenous Congress will hold the activities it considers pertinent in the place or places it determines. Registration for observer-participants in the festival in honor of the CNI can be made at the following email: CNI20aniversario@ezln.org.mx.

THIRD: To the gathering “The Zapatistas and the conSCIENCES FOR HUMANITY” TO BE HELD from December 25, 2016 through January 4, 2017, at CICECI in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.

In this gathering, participation in the discussion will include ONLY invited formal and natural scientists, in addition to, and as students, Zapatista young people, bases of support, who will present their doubts, questions, and inquiries to the attending scientists. Although entry is free (with previous registration), only the invited scientists and the Zapatista young people who have been selected to attend by their communities, regions, and zones will be able to take the floor to speak. There will be no exam for the students; but for the scientists…well, good luck with the questions. To register to attend as escuchas (listeners), use the following email: conCIENCIAS@ezln.org.mx .
