El Centro de Derechos Humanos Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas, acusa acciones de vigilancia y hostigamiento a sus integrantes, así como a otras organizaciones de la sociedad civil, por agentes de inteligencia del estado mexicano, durante los meses de abril y mayo, en San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas.

El Frayba, interpuso denuncia ante la Fiscalía Especializada de Protección y Atención a los Organismos No Gubernamentales para la Defensa de los Derechos Humanos por actos de seguimiento y vigilancia.

Estos hechos han sido notificados a la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, a través de las medidas cautelares que este Centro tiene ante el organismo internacional. El Frayba exige al gobierno mexicano cumpla con su obligación de tomar las medidas necesarias para que quienes defienden derechos humanos ejerzan su labor sin ningún tipo de amenaza ni violencia en contra.
