Abraham fue el primer preso politico del mal gobierno de Ulises Ruiz Ortiz en Oaxaca, es integrante del Comite de Defensa de Derechos Indigenas (CODEDI) de la comunidad zapoteca de Santiago Xanica y de la Alianza Magonista Zapatista (AMZ), adherente a la Sexta Declaracion de la Selva Lacandona del EZLN.
