282 familias pertenecientes al Pueblo Maya Tsotsil, se encuentran en riesgo para la vida, seguridad e integridad por ataques armados.

Amenazas, agresiones y difamaciones vulneran el derecho a la libre expresión y organización del Comité Chalchihuitle.

El Centro de Derechos Humanos Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas, A.C. (Frayba), manifiesta su preocupación por la situación de vulnerabilidad en la que se encuentran 1,237 personas en desplazamiento forzado, que conforman 282 familias, en 10 comunidades del Pueblo Maya Tsotsil, en el municipio de Chalchihuitán, Chiapas, México.¹ Debido a que los ataques con armas de fuego, perpetrados por un grupo civil armado de corte paramilitar procedente de Chenalhó, persisten durante el confinamiento por Emergencia Sanitaria de Covid 19, ante las omisiones del Estado mexicano.² Además continúan las amenazas, agresiones y difamaciones hacia las y los integrantes del Comité Autónomo de Desplazados Forzados InternosChalchihuitle (Comité Chalchihuitle)³ y hacia diez familias de Cruz K’ak’alnam, quienes en su mayoría son niñas, niños, mujeres y personas mayores.
