La organización Vineketik en Resistencia repudiamos el acto criminal del secuestro de los dos compañeros zapatistas, ya liberados. Le exigimos al gobierno que cese los hostigamientos a los pueblos autónomos, a los indígenas y campesinos.
Ya que el gobierno corrupto a implementado una serie de estrategias como el secuestro, las desapariciones forzadas, los encarcelamientos con delitos prefabricados, acciones de contrainsurgencia en contra de los pueblos autónomos para intimidar a los pueblos que luchan y resisten al gobierno y sus sistema corrupto.
Al mismo tiempo expresamos nuestra solidaridad a nuestrxs compañrxs zapatistas y decirles que juntxs seguiremos tejiendo rebeldía para construir un mundo con justicia y libertad con conciencia.

Ante el llamado que hacen los hermanos, hermanas y hermanoas del Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional:
“A LA EUROPA DE ABAJO Y A LA IZQUIERDA Y A LA SEXTA NACIONAL E INTERNACIONAL A MANIFESTARSE FRENTE A LAS EMBAJADAS Y CONSULADOS DE MÉXICO, Y EN LAS CASAS DEL GOBIERNO DEL ESTADO DE CHIAPAS, PARA EXIGIRLES QUE SE DEJEN YA DE PROVOCACIONES Y ABANDONEN EL CULTO A LA MUERTE QUE PROFESAN”
Las comunidades que conformamos el CIPOG-EZ y que somos parte del Congreso Nacional Indígena – Concejo Indígena de Gobierno (CNI-CIG), nos sumamos a la acción internacional para demandar el ¡ALTO A LA GUERRA Y HOSTIGAMIENTO EN CONTRA DEL EZLN! Para decirle al mal gobierno que sabemos lo que pasa con nuestros hermanos, hermanas, hermanoas de EZLN, por muchos cercos que imponga el mal gobierno, por mas silencio que pague a los medios de comunicación para que no se sepa nada de lo que ocurre en Chiapas.
Desde la Montaña Baja de Guerrero, vemos con preocupación cómo el hostigamiento en contra del EZLN no sólo se ha mantenido desde su surgimiento en 1994, sino que se agudiza, pues los grupos paramilitares se han reactivado con todo el respaldo y silencio de los malos gobiernos. En las comunidades que conformamos al CIPOG-EZ, sentimos en lo más profundo su llamado, pues la muerte, los secuestros, encarcelamientos, la complicidad de los grupos narco-paramilitares con los malos gobiernos, son cosas que vivimos y sufrimos, pero que no normalizamos y por eso luchamos y resistimos: para vivir.
Saludamos la iniciativa del EZLN y nos llena el corazón de saber que la Travesía Por La Vida está en marcha. Sepan que ustedes son un referente para nosotros y nosotras aquí en las comunidades de la Montaña Baja de Guerrero, que seguimos sus pasos, pues la autonomía de las comunidades es el reto que tenemos quienes aspiramos a la construcción del mundo que queremos y en eso ustedes son nuestro ejemplo.
Llamamos a las y los compañeros solidarios, de México y del mundo, a dar seguimiento a nuestras hermanas, hermanos y hermanoas que andan por el mundo en la Travesía Por la Vida y a quienes se quedan en el territorio zapatista en el estado de Chiapas. Llamamos a movilizarnos de manera conjunta, aunque cada quien en sus geografías, el día viernes 24 de septiembre de 2021.
Llamamos a los medios de comunicación a que vengan a la comunidad de Alcozacán el 24 de septiembre, día en el que nos movilizaremos. En este sentido, responsabilizamos a Héctor Astudillo Flores, gobernador del estado de Guerrero, al fiscal y demás encargados de la seguridad del estado de cualquier cosa que pueda sucedernos, pues al igual que el gobernador de la 4T del estado de Chiapas Rutilio Escandón, las autoridades del estado de Guerrero, han demostrado que la vida de quienes habitamos el territorio no les interesa.

Hermanas y hermanos:
Queremos empezar nuestra palabra saludando al Comité de Promotores de Derechos Humanos en Defensa de la Vida y la Casa Común de esta Parroquia de San Juan Evangelista, C’ancuc, que amablemente nos invitaron a compartir este día tan importante de la celebración y agradecimiento de sus 5 años de caminar en la defensa y cuidado de la Madre Tierra y, también reflexionar brevemente la “Independencia de México”, de hace 211 años, encabezado por Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, José María Morelos y Pavón, Vicente Guerreo, Agustín de Iturbide y entre otras y otros insurgentes.
En la historia oficial de México, nos cuenta que, nuestras abuelas y abuelos son los que más derramaron sangre en la lucha por la Independencia de México, siempre somos ignorados, simplemente somos un número para quienes escriben las historias oficiales o en el peor de los casos, nos señalan como salvajes e ignorantes, ese es el pensamiento de quienes les molesta y avergüenza nuestra memoria digna y verdadera.
Pero, no sólo es indignante que no nombren a nuestras abuelas y abuelos por su valentía y sacrificio en la lucha por la Independencia de México, sino, porque los mismos malos gobiernos de México la han traicionado junto con sus amigos los ricos y poderosos para así robar y saquear las riquezas de nuestro país.
En el calendario oficial, marca que hoy se dará el “grito del inicio de la Independencia de México”, pero, preguntamos:
¿Existe “Independencia de México”, mientras el mal gobierno en turno sigue entregando nuestras tierras y territorios a los ricos y poderosos para construir el mal llamado “Tren Maya”, el Corredor Interoceánico del Istmo de Tehuantepec y otros megaproyectos de muerte?
¿Nos atrevemos a gritar “Viva la Independencia de México”, mientras en México se violan derechos fundamentales, desaparecen y asesinan a defensoras y defensores de derechos humanos, de la Vida y de la Madre Tierra?
No, no vamos a gritar “Viva la Independencia de México”, porque para prestarse a esa farsa, se tiene que tener muy poca memoria.
¿Y por qué no hacemos otra forma de celebrar este día? ¿Por qué no damos Vivas de los nombres de nuestras hermanas y hermanos defensores de derechos humanos, de la Vida y de la Madre Tierra que han sido desaparecidos y asesinados cruelmente por los paramilitares, por los sicarios, por los policías, por la Guardia Nacional y por el Ejército Mexicano?
Ante la traición de la “Independencia de México”, pensamos que ahora somos nosotros los pueblos organizados y en resistencia, las organizaciones y activistas sociales del campo y de la ciudad, las y los defensores de los derechos humanos, de la Vida y de la Madre Tierra, y las y los que se sumen, para que, de nueva cuenta en México exista Independencia, para que en nuestras comunidades y pueblos se respeten nuestras autonomías, para que en el campo y en la ciudad vivamos libres y sean respetados nuestros derechos humanos.
Hermanas y hermanos de este pueblo tseltal de C’ancuc y en especial al Comité de Promotores de Derechos Humanos en Defensa de la Vida y la Casa Común, les deseamos mucha fuerza en su caminar y en su lucha, que no sólo cumplan 5 años de organización, sino, que hasta donde sea necesario por el bien de su comunidad y pueblo. Y les agradecemos enormemente su invitación, su respeto y su hermandad, que nuestra Madre de Guadalupe las guíe siempre y les conceda mucha sabiduría y bendiciones.
Antes de terminar, rechazamos categóricamente el secuestro de dos integrantes de la Junta de Buen Gobierno “Nuevo Amanecer en Resistencia y Rebeldía por la Vida y la Humanidad”, Caracol 10 Floreciendo la semilla rebelde, por la Organización Regional de Cafeticultores de Ocosingo (ORCAO). To all those ready to live, that is, to fight
The recent aggressions against Zapatista authorities are the culmination of an escalation of attacks and provocations against Zapatista and non-Zapatista communities of Chiapas at the hands of paramilitaries whose character the whole world knows: the bad governments seek the surrender of those who resist the dispossession they promote. Or worse, they provoke a tragic, violent confrontation that would be a pretext for great repression, in order to remove obstacles from their destructive path, that lays waste to Mother Earth as to the social fabric.
We will not permit it. Those bad governments should know, as should their officials and lackeys, that they not only confront the well-organized force of the Zapatista peoples clearly determined to exercise their legitimate right to self-defense. They have tried all the peaceful means of accord and reconciliation and they have only encountered indifference and a irresponsibility. Their patience now wears thin. Together with them, together with the Zapatista communities and peoples, together with the hundreds of communities assaulted by the current regime, we are determined to halt this criminal impulse that doesn’t seem to have another way out except through violence.
We will demonstrate on the 24th that we are determined to react. In silence or shouting, in the streets and plazas, before the embassies or public buildings, in places of work, wherever we are and by any means at our reach, we will show our solidary resistance to the absolutely illegal abuse that takes place with the open complicity of those that have the legal and political obligation to stop it.
The paramilitary mask does not deceive us. It is the State. We will not accept its cult of death. We will come out this Friday the 24th to defend life.

Las Fiscalías federal y estatal de Chiapas cómplices en la falsificación de pruebas a personas inocentes.
Gobierno de Chiapas mantiene una acción criminal como parte de su política de gobierno.
La Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) y la Fiscalía General del estado de Chiapas (FGECH) cómplices en falsificación de pruebas a personas inocentes. El Centro de Derechos Humanos Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas, (Frayba) investigó y documentó la utilización ilegal de las identificaciones de Yonny Ronay Chacón González (Yonny Ronay) –joven víctima de privación arbitraria de la libertad y tortura– para privar de la libertad a dos personas, una de ellas de nacionalidad salvadoreña.
Yonny Ronay fue detenido ilegalmente y torturado por elementos de la policía especializada adscritos a la Fiscalía de Alto Impacto (FAI) de FGECH entre el 13 y 15 de marzo del 2019. En el momento de su detención traía consigo diferentes pertenencias entre las que se encontraba su credencial de conducir.
El día 14 de marzo de 2019 Yonny Ronay fue exhibido por medios de comunicación con fotografías obtenidas por medio de la FAI, como integrante de una banda de la delincuencia organizada, en posesión de armas de grueso calibre y como el responsable de un homicidio en Villaflores, Chiapas.
Al día siguiente, tras ser expuesto públicamente y violar su presunción de inocencia, la FAI determinó darle la libertad a Yonny Ronay alegando que de acuerdo con la investigación le habían encontrado un arma blanca del tipo de navaja multiusos. Horas antes de su libertad la Fiscalía de Distrito Fraylesca (FDF) realizó actos de investigación a Yonny por otros delitos.
Al salir de la FAI fue detenido nuevamente con una orden de aprehensión por el delito de homicidio calificado; hasta este momento legalmente se le atribuyó una responsabilidad sobre estos hechos, es decir la FGECH había fabricado al culpable 24 horas antes.
Por otra parte, contamos con documentación de que el día del homicidio que se le imputa a Yonny Ronay, el joven se encontraba en otro municipio del estado de Chiapas. Este Centro de Derechos Humanos cuenta con documentos que acreditan tortura física y psicológica, privación arbitraria de libertad, mismos indicios que se encuentran dentro de la carpeta de investigación integrada por certificados médicos que constatan las lesiones que le causaron, además de testimonios de sus familiares que lograron verlo cuando se encontraba detenido.
El 21 de marzo de 2019 fue vinculado a proceso por el delito de homicidio calificado y el 21 de octubre del mismo año la FDF le imputó el delito de robo, vinculandolo a proceso. Durante la audiencia, Yonny Ronay denunció actos de tortura que sufrió durante su detención y señaló al fiscal del ministerio público como uno de sus perpetradores.
El día 23 de abril de 2020 fueron detenidas ilegalmente dos personas por la FAI, quienes también fueron torturados en el sótano de esta institución, y se les atribuyó un robo ejecutado con un arma de fuego el día 24 de abril del mismo año en Tuxtla Gutiérrez. En esa investigación la FAI, utilizó ilegalmente la credencial de Yonny Ronay para fabricar un testimonio y falsificó su firma para incriminar a estas personas. En la fecha de estos hechos él ya se encontraba en prisión.
Por las secuelas físicas y psicológicas de la tortura, estas dos personas aceptaron reconocer responsabilidades a cambio reducirles la pena y recobrar su libertad por medio de una fianza. Esto no sucedió, por lo que fueron sentenciados a cuatro años cuatro meses de prisión, pena que siguen cumpliendo.
La FAI transfirió el 21 de junio de 2019 la investigación a la FGR por el delito de portación de armas de uso exclusivo del Ejército. Un Juez Federal emitió un auto de vinculación a proceso por estos hechos y ordenó investigar los actos de tortura que se manifestaron durante la audiencia.
Del 20 agosto de 2019 al 19 de febrero de 2020 la FGR realizó actos de investigación con finalidad de esclarecer los hechos; en este periodo entrevistó a Yonny Ronay el día 17 de febrero de 2020 en el Centro Estatal de Reinserción Social para Sentenciados (CERSS) número 08 de Villaflores, en ese momento el joven refirió que era imposible que haya sido testigo de esos hechos –del robo y la portación de arma de fuego- ya que en ese se encontraba detenido.
Además, la FGR en su investigación no localizó a las supuestas víctimas y otros testigos de los hechos referidos por la FAI, verificó también que en el lugar de los hechos existían cámaras del C5 que pudieron grabar los hechos, mismo que contrariaba el informe de la FAI, quien argumentó la inexistencia de los aparatos de grabación.
Por estas circunstancias dentro de la investigación, la FGR determinó cerrar la investigación por el delito de portación de armas de fuego: “En estas circunstancias y al no encontrarse debidamente corroborado que –——————————, participó en la comisión del hecho señalado como delito de PORTACIÓN DE ARMA DE FUEGO DE USO EXCLUSIVO DEL EJÉRCITO … sino más bien que se simularon pruebas en su contra… en el hecho señalado como delito antes descrito y el de ROBO EJECUTADO CON VIOLENCIA AGRAVADO”.
Es decir, que la FGR concluyó que el delito de portación de arma de fuego fue fabricado por la FAI, así como el robo ejecutado con violencia, delito por el cual estas personas actualmente se encuentran sentenciadas.
Por estos hechos se configuran los delitos de abuso de autoridad, ejercicio ilícito de servicio público, falsificación de documentos, los cuales se encuentran previstos en el Código Penal Federal, por lo que correspondería a la FGR investigar a los funcionarios públicos de la FAI que incurrieron en estas acciones, lo que hasta el momento no se ha realizado.
La Secretaría General de Gobernación y la Dirección de Derechos Humanos del estado de Chiapas tienen conocimiento de estos hechos, sin que hasta el momento hayan intervenido para hacer cesar este cúmulo de violaciones a derechos humanos hacia estas tres personas.
El día 06 de septiembre de 2021 Yonny fue sentenciado a 31 años y seis meses de prisión, por un juez del distrito judicial de Villaflores, el cual no valoró las pruebas de una investigación cargada de violaciones a los derechos humanos.
La comisión de una serie de violaciones al debido proceso, a la presunción de inocencia, a la libertad e integridad personal, entre otras violaciones a los derechos humanos representan una acción criminal de parte del gobierno del estado de Chiapas hacia la población, representando una política de investigación penal que constituye la instalación de una fábrica de delitos y culpables.

They are traveling with very few belongings and bottles of water, part of the migrant caravans that cross Mexico to reach the United States. The scene becomes commonplace. We have a brief conversation, catch up. Hugs will be for another time: mouth covers, gel and disinfectant spray accompany our meeting. It’s time to rest. We have been on the road for more than 13 hours. We get settled in the space that we have been lent in solidarity to spend those two nights. In the early hours of the morning, I hear notifications of messages on my cell phone. I hear them in the distance, while dreaming.

The next day when I wake up I finally consult the phone.
“Don’t go out, there is turmoil in the village.”
“How are you? Don’t go near the north of Jovel.” These are some of the messages I read.
According to the Fray Bartolomé de las Casas Human Rights Center, the night witnessed confrontations between criminal groups in the northern area of the city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, near the community known as Molino los Arcos.
The situation is serious: people assassinated, houses burned, terror. In Chiapas this scene has also become common: paramilitary and organized crime groups carry out constant attacks against rural and urban populations.
The municipal and state governments do not seem to be concerned about stopping this situation; on the contrary, they guarantee impunity and free mobility to these groups. The interventions of the federal government are also insufficient, or complacent depending on how you want to see it. Chiapas is a powder-keg. Its governor, Rutilio Escandón, “is kept in the government with pins” and through agreements with other power constituencies.

On Thursday the 9th, the entire day consisted of preparations and informal meetings with compañeros and compañeras from other organizations. In the morning we went to the Center of Autonomous Resistance and Zapatista Rebellion Caracol Jacinto Canek, a Zapatista caracol in the heart of San Cristóbal de las Casas. We signed up on a list and announced that we would accompany the caravan. The next day La Extemporánea, the Zapatista airborne delegation will leave for Mexico City, where they will stay for a few days and then fly to Vienna, Austria. Outside the Caracol remain people of solidarity, comrades, filmmakers, independent journalists. We share information and tips for the trip.
In the afternoon of the same Thursday we attended a seminar held by some collectives of the region. The predominant theme of the interventions was the attacks that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
They talk about organized crime, corruption, dispossession, resistance, the struggle for life, the role of women, the objective of the intensification of the war in Chiapas, the situation of terror. There is fear and uncertainty.
An older man takes the floor and maps the links between local governments and organized crime.
He concludes: “we have to ask our allies in Mexico City to help us communicate what is happening in Chiapas. If we write it, they will kill us.”

Night falls again, a reminder that we must hurry.
We distribute the tasks between the three: buy food, water, put gas in the car. My travel partners go together, and I walk through the center of San Cristobal. I adjust my mask, dodging tourists and moving away from where I see the highest concentration of people. It seems that for the hundreds of visitors the pandemic is over: they go without masks, or healthy distance, or any other measure. I meet up with three comrades who live in town, friends of many years. We find a corner and quickly catch up. Jokingly I tell them, “the pandemic is over here, isn’t it?”. Their response is similar to what I have read in the press or heard from others: “The health measures here are a disaster. Listen to what the health workers say… In the protests against AMLO a few weeks ago there were not only the compas of the CNTE, there were also women and men doctors and nurses. Many people died in the communities who were not included in the COVID statistics.”
On Friday, September 10, very early, at 6:00 am, we arrived again at the Caracol Jacinto Canek. The Extemporánea has already boarded the four trucks that will take them to Mexico City. Also on the trucks are the Comando Palomitas, the group of boys and girls who have a special mission on the trip: to play. Also on board is Después de los 17. (The Ixchel-Ramona Militia Section). A total of 177 people make up La Extemporánea. At the head of the delegation is the spokesman of the EZLN, Subcomandante Insurgente Moisés, who is also the coordinator of La Travesía por la Vida – European Chapter.
The Extemporaneous is the second Zapatista delegation to travel to Europe this year. Just last May, Squadron 421, the Zapatista maritime delegation, composed of Lupita, Carolina, Ximena, Yuli, Bernal, Felipe and Marijose, left on the ship La Montaña for Europe. After several weeks at sea, in June 2021, Squadron 421 arrived at its destination, which it renamed SLUMIL K’AJXEMK’OP, which means “Rebellious Land”, or “Land that does not surrender, that does not yield”. During its stay in Insubordinate Europe, Squadron 421 met with different organizations. It also led the historic mobilization of August 13, 2021 in Madrid under the slogan: They did not conquer us.
The caravan of vehicles is formed and begins to take its course. A filmmaker runs alongside us with his camera in hand. From the truck in front of us, half of the body of another documentary filmmaker comes out of the window: camera in hand, making funny contortions to get better shots. They both want to record this historic moment.
Several cars break away from the caravan before leaving San Cristobal de las Casas. From there we will be four trucks, five vans and one car that will make the trip.
We have already identified ourselves and we know who should go where. In Tuxtla Gutiérrez we notice that a local police patrol is following us. They take pictures of us. They speed up and get between the cars of the caravan. The same scene will be repeated in Tabasco, Veracruz, Puebla and the State of Mexico: state police patrols passing us, taking photos, closing the road.
Something similar happens with the patrols of the National Guard and the National Migration Institute. These two groups stop us on at least three occasions. The treatment is cold, aggressive. In one of the stops the situation becomes more tense than in the previous ones. Migration and the National Guard stop us at the same time. They want the compas to get out of the trucks. The human rights observers accompanying us argue the right to free transit. Migration insists.All of us accompanying the caravan surround the agents. Some of us turn on our cell phone cameras and start recording. A colleague begins to transmit live via Facebook. The agents look surprised, they don’t expect that kind of reaction. They let us go. We get back on the road.

On two separate occasions we stop for food. The Zapatista delegation is well prepared: bananas, water, tortas. They organize themselves to distribute them. Everyone always wears masks and safety face shields.

16 hours after leaving the Caracol Jacinto Canek we arrived at our destination: Carmona y Valle no. 32 in Mexico City. The location shows off the murals and ribbons that a brigade of artists had painted a few weeks earlier. Other Zapatista sympathizers have attended the reception. The large contingent from the Otomí Community residing in Mexico City stands out. The arrival is, like the departure, quick and orderly.
The Extemporaneous has arrived safely at its first destination. It is time to rest.

Autodefensas del Pueblo El Machete
22 de septiembre. Viena. La situación de violencia en Chiapas continua y el EZLN alerta hoy sobre un estado “al borde de la guerra civil”. Para entender lo que está pasando en Chiapas, hay que mirar desde varios ángulos la raíz y la sistematización de las violencias. Este texto, no exhaustivo, trata de dar una mirada general a lo que está sucediendo en el estado del sureste mexicano, puntualizando unos temas y conflictos.
El viernes pasado, 17 de septiembre de 2021, en Viena, Austria, alrededor de 20 mujeres y 30 hombres zapatistas de la delegación aérea, “La Extemporánea”, recién llegada a la ciudad, reforzaron el contingente que se concentró frente a la embajada de México.
Este acto de protesta inauguró una gran campaña para denunciar el paramilitarismo y la violencia en Chiapas y exigir la aparición con vida de José Antonio Sánchez Juárez y Sebastián Núñez Pérez, zapatistas integrantes de la Junta de Buen Gobierno (JBG) “Nuevo Amanecer en Resistencia y Rebeldía por la Vida y la Humanidad” del Caracol 10 “Floreciendo la Semilla Rebelde” situado en Patria Nueva, cerca de Ocosingo, Chiapas.
Los dos compañeros fueron secuestrados el 11 de septiembre por miembros de la Organización Regional de Cafeticultores de Ocosingo (ORCAO) –la cual tiene una larga historia de violencia paramilitar e impunidad en la región– mientras la delegación zapatista aerotransportada iniciaba su viaje. Según el comunicado del Comité Clandestino Revolucionario Indígena-Comandancia General (CCRI-CG) del EZLN, fueron liberados el 19 de septiembre, gracias a la intervención de los párrocos de San Cristóbal de Las Casas y de Oxchuc, pertenecientes a la Diócesis de San Cristóbal.
Frente al edificio de la diplomacia mexicana en Viena, la solidaridad internacional se manifestó con decenas de activistas de toda Europa que denunciaron por micrófono, mantas y pancartas al gobierno de México por su respuesta ante la reactivación de las violencias contrainsurgentes. Las tomas de palabra en español, alemán, griego, francés, portugués y gallego, así como el reciente comunicado firmado por numerosos organizaciones, colectivos e individuos de Europa responsabilizan tanto al gobierno federal de Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) como al gobierno estatal de Rutilio Escandón Cadenas, debido a su complicidad con los ataques paramilitares perpetrados no solamente contra campesinos mayas zapatistas, sino también contra compañeras y compañeros defensores de derechos humanos y comunidades de Chiapas.
De acuerdo con la denuncia de la Red AJMAQ, firmada por organizaciones sociales y colectivos del mundo, este mes de septiembre el paramilitarismo de Chiapas se recrudece en acciones delincuenciales.
“Esta escala de violencia orquestada desde los altos poderes del gobierno federal se enmarca en la iniciativa del EZLN ‘Travesía por la Vida Capitulo Europa’. Iniciativa organizativa que busca expandir, de forma pacífica y creativa, la semilla de la resistencia-rebeldía por la humanidad y la Madre Tierra, es decir; por la Vida.”
Recordamos que la primera delegación zapatista, el Escuadron 421, salió de México hacia Europa en barco el 2 de mayo. El 14 de septiembre, es la Extemporánea, delegación aérea del EZLN, que llegó a las tierras de Slumil K’ajxemk’op/Tierra Insumisa (antes Europa) y que fue alcanzada el 22 de septiembre por una delegación del Congreso Nacional Indígena (CNI) y del Frente de Pueblos en Defensa de la Tierra y el Agua-Morelos, Puebla, Tlaxcala (FPDTA-MPT) con el propósito de escuchar y dialogar con las luchas abajo y a la izquierda. Desde el 1 de enero 2021, el EZLN dió a conocer su Declaración por la Vida, firmada por centenas de colectivos de la otra Europa.
“Aquí estamos, y seguiremos aquí, hasta la presentación con vida de los compañeros. Este viaje ya empezó y nadie lo va a parar”, dijo en alemán y en español una compañera activista frente al edificio de la diplomacia mexicana.
¿Quién es el grupo paramilitar que denuncia el EZLN ?
Radio Zapatista, en ¨La larga historia de violencia paramilitar e impunidad de la ORCAO¨, recuerda que la Organización Regional de Cafeticultores de Ocosingo, denunciada repetidamente por las Juntas de Buen Gobierno como organización paramilitar, ha venido agrediendo a las comunidades zapatistas durante más de 20 años con creciente violencia y completa impunidad.

First: On September 11, 2021, in the early morning, while the Zapatista air delegation was in Mexico City, members of ORCAO – a paramilitary organization serving the Chiapas state government – kidnapped the compañeros Sebastián Nuñez Pérez and José Antonio Sánchez Juárez, autonomous authorities from the Good Government Council of Patria Nueva [New Homeland], Chiapas.
The ORCAO is a political-military organization with paramilitary characteristics: they have uniforms, equipment, weapons, and ammunition purchased with money they receive from [government-sponsored] “social programs”. They keep part of the money for themselves and use part of it to pay off government officials for reporting that they [the ORCAO] are complying with the terms of the social programs. They fire on the Zapatista community of Moisés y Gandhi every night with these weapons.
The EZLN has waited patiently as all avenues toward a solution were attempted and exhausted. While the Chiapas state government tried to sabotage and impede freedom for our compañeros, it was human rights organizations and the progressive Catholic church who made an objective assessment of what might happen.
Second: The compañeros were deprived of their liberty for eight days and then freed today, September 19, 2021, thanks to the parish priests of San Cristóbal de las Casas and Oxchuc, of the San Cristóbal diocese. The compañeros were robbed of a walkie-talkie and six thousand pesos in cash belonging to the Good Government Council.
Third: Kidnapping is a crime under both the bad government’s laws and Zapatista law. While the Chiapas state government has supported and covered up these crimes, the Zapatista Army of National Liberation took the necessary steps to free those who were kidnapped and to detain and sanction those who committed the crime.
Fourth: The only reason the conflict did not escalate into a tragedy was due to the intervention of the parishes mentioned above, human rights organizations, and the mobilizations and denunciations carried out in Mexico and, above all, Europe.
Fifth: The misgovernment of Rutilio Escandón is doing everything possible to destabilize the southeastern Mexican state of Chiapas:
It violently represses the normalistas [1].
It sabotages the agreements made between the organized teachers and the federal government, forcing the teachers to take more radical action to demand the agreements be complied with.
Its alliance with narcotraffickers forces indigenous communities to create their own self-defense groups, as the government does nothing to protect the life, liberty, and property of the population. It not only protects the narcotrafficking gangs, but also encourages, promotes, and finances paramilitary groups like those that are constantly attacking communities in Aldama and Santa Martha.
Its vaccination campaign is purposefully slow and disorganized, creating unrest in rural communities that it will no doubt exploit. Meanwhile, the rising covid deaths in these communities are ignored.
Its officials are stealing everything they can from the state treasury, perhaps preparing for a federal government collapse or betting on a new party coming into power.
And now they want to sabotage the departure of the Zapatista delegation participating in the European chapter of the Journey for Life. They ordered their ORCAO paramilitaries to kidnap our compañeros, leaving the crime unpunished, and trying to provoke a reaction from the EZLN, all in a state where governability hangs by a thread.
Sixth: If what the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico (PVEM) wants is to provoke a crisis with international repercussions so that it can destabilize the regime currently in power, they should call a referendum to revoke the presidential mandate.
The PVEM is one of the names used around here by the same old PRI. Sometimes they say it’s the PAN, sometimes the PRD, and now it’s the PVEM badly disguised as the Movement for National Regeneration [MORENA]. But it’s the same criminals as ever, and now they’re part of the misnamed “opposition” movement, a “fifth column” within the 4T [2].
Those responsible are: Rutilio Escandón and Victoria Cecilia Flores Pérez.
If what they want is to topple the federal government, or to cause problems in retaliation for the current federal criminal investigations against them, or to support one of the factions competing for power in 2024, then they should use the available legal channels and stop playing with the life, liberty, and property of the people of Chiapas. They should call for a vote to revoke the presidential mandate and stop playing with fire because they’re going to get burned.
Seventh: We call on Europe below and to the left and on the Sixth in Mexico and abroad to protest in front of Mexican embassies and consulates and at the government offices of the state of Chiapas, demanding an end their provocations and renunciation of their death cult. The date is Friday, September 24, 2021.
Given the actions and omissions of the state and federal governments regarding these crimes and previous ones, we will take the necessary measures to bring justice to the criminals in the ORCAO and the government officials who sponsor them.
That is all. Next time there won’t be a communique. That is, there won’t be words, only actions.

Denunciamos pues, que se trata de una campaña global para frenar la lucha y la resistencia anticapitalista, de abajo y a la izquierda en defensa de la vida.
