THE ZAPATISTA CONTINGENT WILL DEPART IN THE AFTERNOON FROM THE STREET IN FRONT OF CIDECI, IN SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS, AND WILL MARCH TO THE PLAZA DE LA PAZ, IN FRONT OF THE CATHEDRAL. Greetings to you from the men, women, children, elderly, and ancient indigenous from the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN). The compañeras and compañeros with the Zapatista support bases have commissioned me to tell you the following:

During these especially painful moments for our country, we feel summoned by the clamor that is synthesizing in your brave words, provoked by the pain from the vile murder of Juan Francisco Sicilia Ortega, Luis Antonio Romero Jaime, Julio César Romero Jaime and Gabriel Alejo Escalera, along with your call for a National March for Justice and against Impunity beginning May 5 in Cuernavaca, Morelos and arriving May 8 at the Zócalo in Mexico City.

Although we sincerely wish to march by your side in the demand for justice for the victims of this war, we will not be able to go now to Cuernavaca or Mexico City.

However, according to our modest capabilities, and in the framework of the national day which bring us together, the indigenous Zapatistas will march in silence in the city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas on May 7 to exercise our constitutional rights. After ending the march in silence, we will speak our words in Spanish and in our native languages, and after that we will return to our communities, villages and homes.

In our silent march we will bring banners and signs with messages saying “Stop Calderón’s war,” “No more blood,” and “We have had it up to here.”

We ask that you convey these words to the family members of the 49 boys and girls who died and the 70 others who were injured in the tragedy at the ABC daycare center in Hermosillo, Sonora, to the dignified Madres de Ciudad Juárez, to the Baron and Reyes Salazar families from Chihuahua, to the family members and friends of the victims in this arrogant war, to the human rights defenders of citizens and immigrants, to all of those who come together for the National March for Justice and against Impunity.

We are responding to your call to name innocent victims, and today we are naming the boys and girls who died at the ABC daycare center in Hermosillo, Sonora, who are still waiting for justice:

Antes que nada reciban nuestro saludo fraterno y revolucionario de parte de la Junta de Buen Gobierno Corazón Céntrico de los zapatistas delante del mundo, Zona Altos de Chiapas, México, con sede en Oventik, Caracol II.

Por medio de la presente nos dirigimos a ustedes para informarles los hechos lamentables que ocurrió en la comunidad de Pikote’ municipio oficial de Citalá, Chiapas.

En la noche de 18 de abril del presente año, en la comunidad de Pikote’ municipio de Citalá, como a las 12:00 de la noche, tres de nuestras compañeras bases de apoyo del EZLN, sufrieron una desgracia, hubo un incendio en sus domicilio, la cual provocó graves daños. Se les quemó tres viviendas una de sus casas se utilizaba como casa de salud autónomo y se quemó con todo y medicamentos y equipamientos para vacuna; la otra de sus casas era sus cocinas, la otra de sus casas la utilizaban para un pequeño negocio de abarrotes y se quemó con todo y mercancías y era el único sustento que tenían las compañeras, además ellas viven solas en sus casas que tenían y solas buscan la forma para sobrevivir y seguir adelante en nuestra lucha zapatista, dos de sus casas tiene las medidas de 10 por 5 metros y la otra casa mide 8 por 6 metros y las tres casas estaban hechas de tabla y los techos de lámina, en este incendio apenas pudieron salvarse las compañeras y no pudieron salvar nada de sus pertenencias, ahora se quedaron sin nada. A continuación vamos a mencionar el valor de las casas, los equipos, medicamentos y mercancías.

Nosotros y nosotras como Junta de Buen Gobierno no tenemos la posibilidad para apoyarlas económicamente ni materialmente, por la razón de que carecemos de recursos económicos porque somos gobiernos autónomos y estamos en resistencia, además nosotros y nosotras como Junta de Buen Gobierno y nuestros bases de apoyo zapatista no dependemos del mal gobierno. Por esta razón nos atrevimos a escribirles esta carta para ver si tienen la posibilidad y la voluntad a que nos apoyen con las compañeras que ahora están sufriendo, ya sea con recursos económicos, recursos materiales o con algo que puedan apoyar a las compañeras porque ahora nuestras compañeras tienen muchas necesidades en todo.

Nosotros y nosotras los zapatistas sabemos que en nuestro estado y en nuestro país hay personas sinceras y honestas que entienden las justas causas de nuestra lucha zapatista y que están dispuestos para apoyarnos. Nosotros y nosotras los zapatistas a pesar de que nos topamos con muchos y diferentes obstáculos vamos a seguir adelante en nuestra lucha zapatista y en la Construcción de nuestra autonomía. Las organizaciones que tienen la voluntad de apoyar, favor de presentarse en la oficina de la esta Junta de Buen Gobierno de la Zona Altos de Chiapas.

Por el momento es toda nuestra palabra y les anticipamos nuestros más sinceros agradecimientos.

La escalada de violencia y estulticia que los personeros de la clase política, están aplicando a lo largo y ancho de nuestra nación, se aplica con inusitada fuerza en contra de los compañeros chiapanecos, bases de apoyo del EZLN y adherentes de La Otra Campaña. En el Ejido Monte Redondo, de Frontera Comalapa Chiapas, militantes de los partidos PRD, Verde y PAN, encabezados por el Comisariado Ejidal Emar Sánchez Carrillo, la agente del ministerio público Angeles Daniel Zúñiga Ballinas y el Presidente Municipal David Escobar, han atacado, incendiado, despojado de sus tierras y bienes, a los habitantes de esta comunidad. El compañero Patricio Domínguez Vázquez sufrió una fuerte agresión física, la destrucción y quema de su hogar y además, esta privado de su libertad de manera absurda, se aplica la vieja concepción corrupta del priismo “al ladrón, al ladrón”, cuando fueron ellos los que atacaron, golpearon, vejaron y robaron a los dignos campesinos Bases de Apoyo del EZLN, integrantes de la Junta de Buen Gobierno “Hacia la Esperanza”.

The following is a new and urgent call to action from Movement for Justice in El Barrio, The Other Campaign New York, to realize the “Global Day of Action for the Liberation of the Zapatista Political Prisoner,” on Thursday, April 29, 2011.

Receive affectionate embraces and greetings on behalf of the humble and simple migrant community of El Barrio, NYC.

Over the years, the experience of our sisters and brothers in the Zapatista support communities has been marked by violence, aggression, harassment and, ultimately, the bad government’s weapon of choice: Repression. We know very well that Power seeks to squash the peoples who exercise their rights to be autonomous by threatening them and imprisoning their dignified voices. But we know as well that each time it does this, it – the criminal and corrupt Power – loses, and fuels our desire to free our political prisoners, wherever they are, and to free ourselves. That is, the courage to fight rises up in us.

Recently, we have learned of another example of this experience.

During the morning of Friday, April 12, 2011, “official” authorities of the Monte Redondo ejido arrived at the ejido-designated property of the compañero Patricio Domíngez Vázquez, base supporter of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN), and began to harass Patricio: They charged him with false accusations, kidnapped him, and unjustly imprisoned him. In a recent public denouncement, the Junta de Buen Gobierno “Hacia La Esperanza” explains that after imprisoning him, a municipal agent named Hernán León Osorio:

“Went to bring Mr. Gilberto Vázquez Velásquez, with his chainsaw, and these individuals went to cut down eight trees in the land of our compañero. Afterwards, they took the wood to the public field of the ejido and then went for the public minister of the Frontera Coma lapa to accuse our compañero of having cut down those eight trees, taking photographs of him. We have confirmed these actions, based on the fact that the compañera Fidelina Vázquez, Zapatista base supporter, saw with her own eyes that it was them who were cutting down the trees.”

In the afternoon of that same day, during a meeting spearheaded by the authorities of the ejido, the decision was made to burn down the house of Patricio Domínguez Vázquez. During the two subsequent days, the compañero Patricio was transported to two other jails and was deprived of his legal right to contact his family members. This act of aggression is not isolated, but rather stems from a series of violent actions that have targeted our compa. For over three years now, they have falsely accused our compa Patricio, along with many others from Monte Redondo and elsewhere, of crimes that he has not committed. According to their corrupt logic, these are precisely the crimes that the bad government together with the false authoridities of the ejido are committing on a daily basis; it is the fault of the victims, who are being dispossess of their land. Like so many other sisters and brothers who have faced state repression, their only “crime” is that of defending their land and the natural resources, which in the eyes of the bad government and greedy capitalists, are nothing more than commodities to be exploited. Continuously, according to their twisted heart, the people who care for and defend the land are, similarly, only an obstacle to profit and must therefore be treated as such.

In addition, for many years now, our Zapatista brothers and sisters from the Monte Redondo ejido have experienced – in the flesh – state repression and the repressive actions of the bad government of the PRD, PAN, PRI, PVEM. As Zapatista bases of support, they have endure the aggressions arising from the collaboration of some ejido members that have aligned themselves with the inhumane interests of the bad government of Mexico, and each political party has participated in this awful repression. We hold responsible for all of this the following individuals: Juan Sabines Guerrero, the PRD Chiapas governor and repressor; Felipe Calderón, the PAN president and repressor; and their accomplices, repressors Ángeles Daniel Zúñiga Ballinas, from the public ministry of the Frontera Comalapa, and the lackeys of the Monte Redondo ejido who are part of the PRD, PAN and PVEM.

In agreement with the recently published words of our sisters and brothers, regarding the repressive governor Juan Sabines Guerrero:

“it is in his history, like the history of his father who engaged in the repression of Wolonchán, or Juan Sabines wants to do what he [his father] did in Chincultik and Hidalgo of the official municipality of La Trinitaria Chiapas. For this reason, we ask for the immediate solution to this problem, given that our compañeros do not have problems with the ejido and there is no reason for them to be suffering these aggressions. We ask that justice be done and that they correct the authorities of Monte Redondo, the police, and this individual Ángeles Daniel who works in the public ministry.”

We know quite well that the repressor, PRD governor Juan Sabines Guerrero is chiefly responsible for so much repression against our Zapatista sisters and brothers, our sisters and brothers of San Sebastián Bachajón and against all the other adherents of The Other Campaign in Chiapas who organize autonomously. We know, as well, that he is supported by the PRD, PRI, PAN, PVEM, and the “AMLO movement.”

Over here in El Barrio, NYC, as part of our local struggle, we share in the conviction of the Zapatista Juntas de Buen Gobierno, which posits: “We love the land and because we survive off it, we care for it, we work on it, and we must defend it” – despite the fact that those from above will call it a “crime.” In response to the impunity, violence, and repression, we want to make the “¡Ya Basta!” (Enough already!) of our Zapatista brothers and sisters echo across the land, and to propose the following:

• That on Thursday, April 29, immediately after the “5 MORE Days of Worldwide Action for the Bachajón 5,” we organize actions to realize the “Global Day of Action for the Liberation of the Zapatista Political Prisoner” in order to demand the release of our unjustly detained compa Patricio Domínguez Vázquez.
• We propose that everyone who will be participating in the “5 MORE Days of Worldwide Action for the Bachajón 5” campaign also demand the immediate release of our Zapatista brother, Patricio Domínguez Vázquez. Likewise, to those who will participate in the day of action to free our Zapatista compañero Patricio, we propose that you demand the liberation of the five political prisoners from Bachajón, adherents of The Other Campaign.

Hermanas y Hermanos:

Por este medio hacemos la siguiente denuncia sobre las provocaciones y perjuicios que estan haciendo en sus vienes de propiedad a nuestros compañeros zapatistas del ejido Monte Redondo ubicado en el municipio oficial de frontera Coma lapa Chiapas,
Desde cuando estaba de Gobernador del estado de Chiapas Absalon Castellano Domínguez y como presidente municipal de Coma lapa Jorge Isaías melgar, nuestros compañeros zapatistas sufrían de encarcelamiento, golpeaban a las mujeres y los metían a la cárcel por orden de éstas personas y ahora las agresiones que están teniendo son por parte de Ángeles Daniel Zúñiga Ballinas del ministerio público de Frontera Coma lapa y de las autoridades del ejido Monte Redondo que son del partido Verde Ecologista, Pan y PRD.
Nuestros compañeros y compañeras son legítimamente dueños de sus tierras ya que las tierras que ellos poseen fueron comprados por el sudor de sus frente, únicamente 3 hectáreas que le pertenece a la compañera Alba de León fue entregado desde hace 31 años por el comisariado ejidal Ramiro de León de León. Estas tierras lo estan trabajando desde ya hace muchos años.

Resulta que las autoridades del Ejido Monte Redondo que son Emar Sánchez Carrillo comisariado ejidal, Hermán de León Osorio agente municipal del ejido, Miguel de León consejo de vigilancia, Oscar Méndez Robledo suplente del agente, Filadelfo Hernández secretario del comisariado y el comandante de policías del ejido, Ausencio Vázquez y Luís Barrios Vázquez, Estas autoridades comienzan a decir que ellos son dueños de estas tierras por ser ejidatarios y acusan falsamente a nuestros compañeros que están quitando tierras de otros señores. Desde hace muchos años nuestros compañeros bases de apoyo zapatistas han sido victimas de: desalojo, encarcelamiento injustamente, robos de sus productos como maíz, fríjol, café, frutas y desde hace tiempo que no les dejan trabajar en paz.
El 7 de septiembre del 2007 encarcelaron a nuestro compañero Patricio Domínguez Vázquez por el hecho de que andaba limpiando el cafetal que le corresponde y es propiamente de él.
El 9 de diciembre del 2009 el compañero Carmelino Felipe Pérez estaba cortando café en su huerta, en ese momento llegaron las autoridades Emar Sánchez Carrillo, Miguel de León, Filadelfo Hernández acompañados de otras 12 personas mas con nombres, Hernán de León Osorio, Héctor Domínguez, Genaro Sánchez, Raúl Sánchez, Ubelter García, Horacio Robledo, Julio de León Palacio, Samuel Domínguez, Evilio Palacios Vázquez, Evilio Palacio López, Lenin Sánchez y Gonzalo Robledo, se acercaron ante el compañero para quitarle los 12 bultos de café que ya tenia cortado y a demás cortaron todo lo que quedaba en las matas.
El 12 de marzo de este año el señor Ebelio Domínguez Rodas desalambro el potrero de la compañera Alba, nuestra compañera la volvió a componer de nuevo y el día 15 del mismo mes este señor volvió a quitarlo y el alambre se lo llevo a su casa; se la robo como medio rollo de alambre
El día martes 12 de abril 2011 a las 9:00 de la mañana llegaron las autoridades Emar Sánchez Carrillo, Hernán de León Osorio, Miguel de León, Oscar Méndez Robledo y las policías que son Emar Vázquez Méndez, Orbe Pérez Aguilar y Paco Vázquez y otras personas como Adulfo Méndez, Antonio Ramírez López, Leonardo Vázquez, Hipólito Sánchez, Esteban Vázquez López y Derli Robledo Vázquez, llegaron en el cafetal donde estaba podando sus plantas que le iba servir para leña de su servicio, quitaron la leña del compañero Patricio, lo agarraron a nuestro compañero, lo encarcelaron y luego el señor Hernán de León Osorio agente municipal fue a traer el señor Gilberto Vázquez Velásquez con su motosierra y estas personas se fueron a tumbar 8 árboles en su terreno de nuestro compañero, después llevaron la leña a la cancha publica del ejido y luego fueron a traer al ministerio público de Frontera Coma lapa acusándole a nuestros compañero que fue él quien tumbo los 8 árboles, tomándole fotografías, estas acciones lo tenemos confirmado ya que la compañera Fidelina Vázquez base de apoyo zapatista vio con sus propios ojos que estaban cortando los árboles
También el mismo 12 de Abril alas 3:00 de la tarde el comisariado hizo una reunión con básicos y avecindados del ejido, solo llegaron 40 personas he hicieron acuerdo para quemar la casa del compañero patricio base de apoyo zapatista, las autoridades del ejido fueron quiénes impulsaron y encabezaron esta reunión, elaborando un documento de acuerdo para ver quienes estan de acuerdo en quemar la casa, haciéndoles firmar, pero no todos entraron de acuerdo porque en el ejido viven 600 familias y la mayoría no estan de acuerdo de lo que están haciendo estas personas.
Alas 5:00 de la tarde lo trasladaron el compañero en la cárcel de la presidencia municipal de frontera Comalapa sin tener comunicación con la familia, privándole la libertad de nuestro compañero zapatista
El día 14 de Abril por la tarde lo trasladaron a la cárcel de Motocintla Chiapas donde es la cárcel máxima para tenerlo preso al compañero y hasta la fecha de hoy sigue ahí.
Todas estas barbaridades que estan haciendo las autoridades del ejido Monte Redondo como son: robos de pertenencias de nuestros compañeros como café, alambre, leña; acusaciones falsas como lo que presentaron con el ministerio publico sobre los 8 árboles que ellos mismos lo cortaron; amenazas como hace la licenciada Ángeles Daniel Zúñiga Ballinas de quitar multa y arresto de nuestro compañero base de apoyo zapatista que expresa en la citatoria que manda con nuestro compañero base de apoyo el 14 de marzo del 2011, amenazas de quemar la casa, de desalojar a los compañeros, esto los hacen las autoridades y la gente que lo apoyan del mismo ejido y todas las provocaciones que ya hicimos mención estan respaldados por el presidente municipal de Frontera Coma lapa: David Escobar, como también el gobernador de Chiapas Juan Sabines Guerrero y Felipe Calderón Hinojosa, presidente de la Republica Mexicana,
Es una vergüenza de los tres niveles de gobierno juntos con las autoridades y algunas personas de monte redondo a demás de tener autoridades ejidales corruptos que no piensan lo que hacen que no tienen sentido humano, no saben analizar lo que hacen, es para nosotros una verdadera injusticia lo que estan haciendo estas personas y al personal que trabaja en el ministerio publico Ángeles Daniel Zúñiga Ballinas que lastima de su trabajo porque solo se preparan para chingar no para ayudar Alos que lo necesitan y vergüenza es para el presidente municipal David escobar de tener trabajadores como estas personas, estamos claro que como así es uno así son todos.

Ante esta situación les ponemos a sus conocimiento que no vamos a tolerar estas acciones y mucho menos que nos vamos a dejar; vamos a defender nuestras tierras como de lugar.
Nosotros amamos la tierra, por que de ella vivimos, la cuidamos, la trabajamos y la defendemos cuando se necesita hacerlo y por eso, ponemos a su conocimiento a Juan Sabines Guerrero que aquí va haber muerte, pero por parte de los oficialistas provocadores no de nuestros compañeros zapatistas, si Juan Sabines no hace nada al respecto, será cómplice de estas acciones y queda a su esponsabilidad si algo mas grave vaya ocurrir, a demás queda en su historia como la historia de su papá que mandó a reprimir en Wolonchán. o quiere hacer Juan Sabines como lo hizo en Chincultik, e Hidalgo del municipio oficial de la Trinitaria Chiapas por eso, pedimos la inmediata solución de este problema ya que nuestros compañeros no tienen problemas con el ejido y no hay razón de que estén sufriendo estas agresiones, Pedimos que hagan justicia y corrijan a las autoridades de Monte Redondo, la policía, y a esta persona Ángeles Daniel que trabaja en el ministerio publico.

También dejamos claro y con la responsabilidad a las autoridades ejidales, al presidente municipal, a Juan sabines y a calderón si esto no le dan solución serán los culpables de lo que vaya a pasar con nuestros compañeros.
Pedimos que de inmediato liberen a nuestro compañero Patricio Domínguez Vázquez y dejen en paz a nuestros compañeros bases de apoyo del Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional de este ejido para que puedan trabajar tranquilamente sus tierras.

LA JUNTA DE BUEN GOBIERNO, DENUNCIA A LA OPINIÓN PUBLICA SOBRE LAS PROVOCACIONES DE LAS AUTORIDADES DEL EJIDO CINTALAPA QUE SON: HERLINDO LÓPEZ PÉREZ, MACARIO JIJARES NUÑEZ, LORENZO LÓPEZ CRUZ, MARIANO VÁZQUEZ LÓPEZ, TRANQUILINO GÓMEZ GUTIÉRREZ, ORGANIZADOS POR LOS 3 NIVELES DEL MAL GOBIERNO, FEDERAL, ESTATAL Y MUNICIPAL.

HECHOS OCURRIDOS EN EL EJIDO CINTALAPA MUNICIPIO DE OCOSINGO.
1.- Las autoridades del el Ejido Cintalapa y los tres niveles del mal Gobierno, están obligando a nuestros compañeros para pagar el impuesto predial de la tierra,
A los mediados de marzo del presente año, los compañeros fueron invitados por las autoridades priistas, panistas, para exigirle a los compañeros que entreguen copia de credencial para solicitar un proyecto , para pagar el impuesto de la tierra, y que así obtener el certificado agrario, también le dijeron que todo tendrá que cumplir lo que digan las autoridades, trabajo de la educación oficial, pagar cooperaciones para el nombramiento del agente, el pago de la energía de la luz eléctrica, todo esto los compañeros no aceptaron por que la verdad están en resistencia y no están recibiendo nada del mal gobierno.

Y además tienen autoridades autónomas, educación autónoma y no tiene porque ser obligado en trabajos que ellos no sean beneficiados.

El día 26 de marzo la Junta de Buen Gobierno, mandó un oficio aclarando que los compañeros bases de apoyo del EZLN, estamos en resistencia y no pagamos impuestos de tierra, impuestos de luz, así que aclaramos que no recibimos nada del mal gobierno y no le damos nada.

2.- el día 29 de Marzo las autoridades priistas convocaron una asamblea y dieron lectura al oficio y que el C. Herlíndo Lopez Perez, Macario Juares Nuñez, como mesas directiva no le gusto y empezó a alarmar con la asamblea, y los compañeros se vieron muy presionados intensamente y fueron obligados a hablar a uno por uno para que diga que es lo que quieren, que hablen claro, si quieren sus tierras o no y así los compañeros decían que ellos van a resistir, pero las autoridades ejidales no quedaron conformes y también fueron obligados de firmar una acta de acuerdo que su contenido esta totalmente en contra de la autonomía y la resistencia, pero los compañeros no firmaron y las autoridades se encabronaron y que le dijeron a los compañeros con palabras amenazantes de privar su derecho y serán despojados en el Ejido, y que solo tienen un plazo de 5 días para pensar, y que diga claro si es que entregan la copia de la credencial electoral, pagar el impuesto predial, impuestos de luz, y firmar el acta de acuerdo.

De todo estas provocaciones que esta haciendo las autoridades del Ejido Cintalapa juntos con los mañosos de los malos gobernantes, federal, estatal, municipal.

Nosotros como bases de apoyo del Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional, denunciamos enérgicamente, La política del mal gobierno que está creando la desinformación y contundir a la gente honesta que lucha y resiste, su plan de contra insurgencia es crear terror y miedo a la sociedad.
El mal gobierno usa y compra a gentes que se presta y se vende por unas cuantas monedas, porque además son sus mismos aliados para hacer trampas y armar mentiras manipulantes.

Pero nosotros los zapatistas mantenemos con firmeza la dignidad y resistencia, y vamos a defender a nuestros compañeros, aunque el mal gobierno trata de destruir con sus engaños y limosnas.

Nosotros los zapatistas no nos rendimos, no nos vendemos, ni claudicamos, declaramos fuertemente que aquí estamos, aquí estaremos y aquí seguiremos y no vamos a permitir que estos priistas hostiguen mas a nuestros compañeros que están en resistencia, vamos a defender el derecho de estos compañeros por que sabemos muy bien que esto es un plan del mal gobierno, y la declaramos culpable de todo lo que esta pasando y que lo sepa muy bien el mal gobierno que no vamos a pagar los impuestos prediales, no vamos a pagar el impuesto de la energía eléctrica, no vamos a darle nada al mal gobierno, por que nosotros no estamos recibiendo nada.

Hermanos y hermanas del mundo esto es lo que está pasando en el ejido Cintalapa perteneciente del Municipio Autónomo Ricardo Flores Magón.
