After the release from prison of 15 new paramilitary members physically responsible for the Massacre of Acteal, the Las Abejas civil organization gave a press conference this last October 22, where they denounce these actions by the Mexican government.

On Tuesday Oct 12 police forces broke into the facilities of Radio Proletaria in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, to tear down the community radio station which for the last 5 years had been working peacefully. At the time, the 14-year-old compañero Carlos Martínez, a high school student, was transmitting; he was detained. The Fray Bartolomé de las Casas Human Rights Center published this bulletin.
