Esperamos que en esta situación de pandemia, ustedes y sus familias se encuentren bien de salud y de ánimo.
Al enterarnos del terrible asesinato del compañero George Floyd, y de los movimientos de protesta contra la violencia homicida y racista de la policía norteamericana, nos acordamos mucho de ustedes, de su movimiento “BLACK LIVES MATTER”, de su lucha por sus hijos, por la justicia y los derechos de la comunidad afroamericana, cuando nos visitaron en el encuentro que convocamos como mujeres del Congreso Nacional Indígena en la comunidad nahua de San Juan Volador, en el Sur de Veracruz, México a finales de Julio del año pasado.
Queremos que sepan que nuestros corazones están con ustedes en esta gran lucha contra el racismo, el poder patriarcal, clasista y todas las formas de imperialismo de los que se creen los dueños de este mundo, que violentan los derechos civiles, los derechos de las mujeres y los derechos de los pueblos.
En México, recientemente también sufrimos el embate de la violencia policiaca; el 4 de mayo de este año, en el contexto de la pandemia del COVID-19, con el pretexto de no portar cubre bocas en la calle, el joven Giovanni López fue detenido ilegalmente, torturado y asesinado por policías del estado de Jalisco; y el pasado 5 de junio, la joven Melanie, de 16 años de edad, fue pateada en la cara por elementos policiales en una manifestación de protesta contra el asesinato de Giovanni en la Ciudad de México. Además de la larga historia de abuso de la fuerza y violaciones a los derechos humanos por parte de la policía y el ejército mexicanos, teniendo como prácticas habituales la tortura, los feminicidios y las desapariciones forzadas.
Aunado a lo anterior, el gobierno de México está aprovechando estos tiempos de pandemia para imponer, de manera totalmente antidemocrática, la militarización del país y sus megaproyectos de muerte como son el Tren Maya y el Corredor Interoceánico, con los que pretenden despojarnos de nuestros territorios indígenas y a destruirnos como pueblos.
Desde nuestros territorios nos unimos a ustedes, y seguiremos en la lucha del movimiento “Black Lives Matter”, junto con todas las luchas contra este sistema patriarcal, capitalista y racista.
Nos reconocemos como pueblos de todos los colores de la Tierra, la Tierra no nos pertenece, nosotras y nosotros pertenecemos a la Madre Tierra.
¡Siempre las tendremos en el corazón!
Les mandamos un fuerte abrazo colectivo a ambas, a sus familias y a todas sus compañeras y compañeros.

Dear Dionne and Denise
We hope that in this pandemic situation, you and your families are in good health and in good mood.
When we knew about the terrible murder of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer, and the protest movements against homicidal and racist violence by the American police, we remember a lot about you, about your “BLACK LIVES MATTER”, of your fight for your sons, for justice and the rights of the African American community, when you visited us at the Nahua community of San Juan Volador in the south of Veracruz, Mexico, at the meeting that we organized as women of the National Indigenous Congress (CNI), in late July of last year.
We want you to know that our hearts are with you in this great fight against racism, patriarcal and class power, and all forms of imperialism of who believe to be the owners of this world, that violate civil rights, women’s rights and peoples’ rights.
In Mexico, we also recently suffered the onslaught of police violence; On May 4 of this year, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, under the pretext of not wearing mouth covers on the street, the young Giovanni López was illegally detained, tortured, and killed by Jalisco state police; and on June 5, 16-year-old Melanie was kicked in the face by police elements in a protest demonstration against the murder of Giovanni in Mexico City. In addition to the long history of abuse of force and human rights violations by the Mexican police and army, having torture, femicide, and enforced disappearances as their usual practices.
In addition to the above, the Mexican government is taking advantage of these times of pandemic to impose, in a totally undemocratic way, the militarization of the country and its megaprojects of death such as the Mayan Train and the Interoceanic Corridor, with those seek to dispossession of our indigenous territories and destroy us as peoples.
We recognize ourselves as peoples of all the colors of the Earth, the Earth does not belong to us, we and we belong to Mother Earth.
From our territories we join you, and we will continue in the fight of the movement “Black Lives Matter”, together with all the struggles against this patriarchal, capitalist and racist system.
We will always have you in our hearts!
We send a strong collective hug to you both, your families and all your sisters and brothers.

[:es]LIBERTAD INMEDIATA PARA LOS PRESOS EN LUCHA DE CHIAPAS[:]
[:es]Desde el pasado 21 de mayo del presente, los compañeros adherentes a la Sexta Declaración de la Selva Lacandona: de la Organización La Voz de Indígenas en Resistencia, la organización La Voz Verdadera del Amate y de la organización Vineketik en Resistencia; mantienen una huelga desde distintos centros carcelarios del estado de Chiapas.
Su exigencia y su lucha son una y única: ¡LIBERTAD INMEDIATA!
Con esta acción, nuestros compañeros visibilizan el trabajo negligente y corrupto por parte de las autoridades de las cárceles chiapanecas, quienes se niegan a garantizar la integridad de gente que están bajo su responsabilidad jurídica; menospreciando y desatendiendo así, el estado de salud de cientos de personas en situación carcelaria; algunas de las cuales han dado positivo al COVID-19 y otras tantas presentan síntomas que presumen serlo, pero sin tener la seguridad y la certeza de ello.
Por elemental acto de justicia los compañeros en huelga de hambre deben ser excarcelados ya, su lugar está junto a sus familiares, en sus comunidades con sus seres queridos; su permanencia en prisión pone en un alto riesgo sus vidas y las del resto de los presos y el personal de los penales.

En sus comunicados, los presos en lucha señalan la responsabilidad que tienen las autoridades estatales y la omisión de las mismas ante la delicada situación que atraviesan cientos de personas que no cuentan con las medidas sanitarias necesarias para hacer frente a esta contingencia sanitaria. Por su parte, la respuesta de las autoridades del gobierno de Chiapas, ha sido el olvido, la corrupción y el racismo, un gobierno encabezado por Rutilio Escandón Cadenas, quien ostenta el cargo bajo las siglas de MORENA, que con promesas de “cambio” sigue gobernando de la misma forma que sus antecesores, tal “cambio” es sólo mentira y simulación.
Desde la Red contra la Represión y la Solidaridad, abrazamos la digna lucha de nuestros compañeros Abraham, Germán, Adrián y Marcelino. Sumamos nuestra voz y nuestro actuar a la exigencia de libertad inmediata.
Las prisiones siguen siendo esos centros de exterminio que muestran el lado más cruel y atroz del sistema capitalista. Su objetivo no es el ejercicio de la justicia, buscan quebrar la dignidad humana, corromper aún más el tejido social y dejar en la humillación a personas que han sido aventadas a la marginalidad y a la pobreza generadas por un modelo económico que se enriquece a costa de la vida.
Por ello, invitamos a l@s compañer@s de la Sexta Internacional y Nacional, de las Redes de Resistencia y Rebeldía, de las Redes de Apoyo y quiénes se sientan convocados, a denunciar el actuar negligente del mal gobierno de Chiapas, a solidarizarnos y pronunciarnos por la lucha de la libertad de nuestros compañeros presos políticos.
Llamamos a nuestras compañeras y compañeros miembros del RvsR para que de acuerdo a sus tiempos, formas y modos, apoyen la lucha por la libertad de nuestros compañeros.
No permitamos que se perpetúe esta normalidad lúgubre, el respeto por nuestros derechos y libertades no vendrá de arriba, sólo con organización podemos ser libres todas y todos, el mundo ahora es una gran cárcel, organicémonos desde abajo y a la izquierda para frenar la barbarie.
