Las zapatistas y los zapatistas que somos, rebeldes en nuestra patria mexicana, porque somos amenazados de destrucci\u00f3n junto con nuestra madre tierra, debajo del suelo y por encima de nuestro suelo, por los malas personas ricos y malos gobiernos, que todo lo que ven piensan en convertir en su mercanc\u00eda, que se llaman capitalistas neoliberales.<\/p>\n

Quieren ser due\u00f1os de todo.<\/p>\n

Son destructores, asesinos, criminales, violadores. Son crueles, inhumanos, torturadores, desaparecedores, son unos corruptos y todo lo que se puede pensar de males, as\u00ed son ellos, no piensan en la humanidad. M\u00e1s bien son inhumanos.<\/p>\n

Editorial<\/h3>\n

We rebellious Zapatistas, along with our mother earth, are threatened with destruction in our Mexican homeland. Both above and below the earth\u2019s surface, the bad governments and bad rich people, all neoliberal capitalists, want to commodify everything they see.<\/p>\n

They want to own everything.<\/p>\n

They are destructive, they are murderers, criminals, rapists. They are cruel and inhuman, they torture and disappear people, and they are corrupt. They are every bad thing you can imagine, they do not care about humanity. They are, in fact, inhuman.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Unos cuantos ellos y todo lo deciden de c\u00f3mo quieren dominar a los pa\u00edses que se dejan dominar, los han convertido en sus fincas los pa\u00edses subdesarrollados, los han convertido de capataces a los llamados gobiernos capitalistas subdesarrollados de cada pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

M\u00e9xico as\u00ed los tiene. El patr\u00f3n son los neoliberales transnacionales, su finca se llama M\u00e9xico, el capataz actual se llama Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto, los mayordomos son \u2028Manuel Velasco en Chiapas, y los dem\u00e1s llamados gobernadores de cada \u2028estado, los caporales son los mal llamados presidentes municipales.<\/p>\n

Por eso nos levantamos en contra de este sistema, el amanecer del primero de enero del a\u00f1o 1994.<\/p>\n

Ya llevamos 30 a\u00f1os de construcci\u00f3n de como pensamos vivir mejor, est\u00e1 a la vista del pueblo de M\u00e9xico y del mundo. Humilde pero sanamente decidido por los pueblos de decenas de miles de mujeres y hombres, \u2028de c\u00f3mo queremos gobernarnos aut\u00f3nomamente.<\/p>\n

Nada oculta lo que estamos haciendo, que lo que buscamos, lo que queremos, est\u00e1 a la vista.<\/p>\n

No es igual lo que nos hace los malos gobiernos, o sea los tres malos poderes, el sistema capitalista todo a espaldas del pueblo.<\/p>\n

Estamos compartiendo a los compa\u00f1eros y compa\u00f1eras de M\u00e9xico y del mundo nuestro humilde pensamiento de un mundo nuevo que pensamos y queremos.<\/p>\n

Por eso lo vimos y pensamos de hacer la escuelita zapatista.<\/p>\n

Donde se trata de libertad y de construcci\u00f3n de un mundo nuevo distinto a como nos tienen los capitalistas neoliberales.<\/p>\n

Y luego es el pueblo quien est\u00e1 compartiendo, o sea directo la base que es pueblo, no s\u00f3lo sus representantes. Ellos dir\u00e1n si est\u00e1n bien o van bien como est\u00e1n organizados, no sus representantes la dicen, o sea es para ver si est\u00e1 as\u00ed como han dicho sus representantes.<\/p>\n

Merece esta gran compartici\u00f3n con todos nosotros, compa\u00f1eros de la ciudad y del campo, porque somos nosotros los que debemos de pensar c\u00f3mo es el mundo nuevo que queremos, no s\u00f3lo los representantes o dirigentes deben pensar y decir c\u00f3mo y mucho menos ellos dicen que van bien como organizaci\u00f3n. Es el pueblo, la base deben decir eso.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed que ah\u00ed dir\u00e1n si les va servir a l@s que asistieron.<\/p>\n

Como leer\u00e1n en los escritos que aparecen en este n\u00famero de nuestra revista REBELD\u00cdA ZAPATISTA, a los compa\u00f1eros y compa\u00f1eras bases de apoyo les ha servido para que as\u00ed los conocieran gentes buenas en M\u00e9xico y en el mundo, porque en M\u00e9xico no hay gobierno que los reconozca, que en M\u00e9xico hay ind\u00edgenas. Se acuerdan de ellos cuando hay elecciones, como si fueran materiales electorales.<\/p>\n

S\u00f3lo as\u00ed como est\u00e1n organizados, con su lucha se ha defendido a lo largo de 30 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Hacen todo lo posible, lo que se ve imposible y lo han demostrado a lo largo de estos 30 a\u00f1os de vida y esto es lo que est\u00e1n compartiendo.<\/p>\n

Trabajamos la escuelita para que vaya mucho m\u00e1s lejos las palabras de las compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros bases de apoyo zapatista, miles y miles de kil\u00f3metros y no como nuestras balas del amanecer de enero del a\u00f1o 1994 que apenas llegaron unos a 50 metros, otros 100 metros y quiz\u00e1s otros a 300 \u00f3 400 metros de distancia, esto de la escuelita cruza mares, fronteras y espacios a la hora de volar a ustedes compa\u00f1eras, compa\u00f1eros.<\/p>\n

Nosotros los ind\u00edgenas rebeldes lo sabemos esto y sabemos que hay otros, otras rebeldes que son ind\u00edgenas y que lo saben tambi\u00e9n ellos lo que es el capitalismo neoliberal.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n hay otros hermanos y hermanas que son rebeldes y que no son ind\u00edgenas, que tambi\u00e9n pueden escribir y que nos comparten en este medio, para saber de ellos c\u00f3mo piensan y c\u00f3mo ven de este sistema que quiere acabar la planeta tierra. Por eso en este n\u00famero de la revista ponemos algunas palabras que nos dan nuestras compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros anarquistas.<\/p>\n

Bueno compa\u00f1eros de la Sexta, mejor est\u00e1 que quienes vinieron lo vieron con sus propios ojos y escucharon sus propios o\u00eddos y vinieron y se fueron bien dispuestos porque se encargan de transmitir y de dar la explicaci\u00f3n a los que no podr\u00e1n llegar.<\/p>\n

En esta primera revista empezar\u00e1 a escribirse las palabras y pensamiento de nuestras compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros bases de apoyo zapatistas, familias, guardianas y guardianes, maestras y maestros, c\u00f3mo la ven la escuelita en que est\u00e1n compartiendo y tambi\u00e9n c\u00f3mo la vieron a las compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros alumnos. En los primeros n\u00fameros de nuestra publicaci\u00f3n ir\u00e1n apareciendo las evaluaciones en la palabra de maestros, votanes, familias y coordinadores de la escuelita en las zonas de los cinco caracoles.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed como ustedes han platicado o publicado lo que vivieron, escucharon y vieron en nuestras tierras zapatistas, aqu\u00ed pueden leer c\u00f3mo los vimos y escuchamos quienes levantamos la bandera de la REBELD\u00cdA ZAPATISTA.<\/p>\n

Subcomandante Insurgente Mois\u00e9s<\/p>\n

M\u00e9xico, enero del 2014. A veinte a\u00f1os del inicio de la guerra contra el olvido.<\/p>\n

They are few, but they decide everything about how they will dominate countries that let themselves be dominated. They have made underdeveloped countries into their plantations, and made the underdeveloped capitalist so-called governments of those countries into their overseers.<\/p>\n

This is what has happened in Mexico. The neoliberal transnational corporations are the bosses, their plantation is called Mexico, the current overseer is named Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto, the administrators are \u2028Manuel Velasco in Chiapas and the other so-called state governors, and the badly named municipal \u201cpresidents\u201d are the foremen.<\/p>\n

This is why we rose up against this system at dawn on January 1, 1994.<\/p>\n

For 30 years we have been constructing what we think is a better way to live, and what we have built is available for the people of Mexico and of the world to see. It is humble but healthily determined by tens of thousands of men and women who decide together how we want to autonomously govern ourselves.<\/p>\n

Nothing hides what we do, what we want, what we seek; it is all visible.<\/p>\n

The bad government on the other hand, that is, the three bad powers-that-be and the capitalist system, does everything behind the people\u2019s back.<\/p>\n

We are sharing our humble idea of the new world that we imagine and desire with compa\u00f1eros and compa\u00f1eras from Mexico and all over the world.<\/p>\n

That is why we decided to have the Zapatista Little School.<\/p>\n

The Little School is about freedom and the construction of a new world different from that of the neoliberal capitalists.<\/p>\n

In addition, it is the people themselves, that is, the bases of support, who are sharing these ideas, not just their representatives. These people, not their representatives, are the ones who will say if they are doing well or if the way that they are organized is working well. That way others can see if things are really like the people\u2019s representatives say they are.<\/p>\n

This great \u201csharing\u201d between all of us, compa\u00f1eros from the city and the countryside, is necessary because we are the ones who must think about how the world we want should be. It can\u2019t just be our representatives or leaders who think about and decide how that world should be, and they certainly can\u2019t be the ones who say how we are doing as an organization. It is the people, the base, who must speak to this.<\/p>\n

You can tell us if this has helped those who attended.<\/p>\n

As you will read in the writings in this edition of our magazine REBELD\u00cdA ZAPATISTA, this process has helped the compa\u00f1eros and compa\u00f1eras who are bases of support to meet good people from other parts of Mexico and all over the world. This is important because in Mexico there is no government that recognizes the indigenous people in this country. The government only remembers them come election time, as if they were electoral paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

It is only through organization and struggle that the bases of support have defended themselves for 30 years now.<\/p>\n

The bases of support have done everything possible, and everything that seemed impossible, over these 30 years and this is what they are sharing.<\/p>\n

We worked to create the Little School so that the words of the compa\u00f1eras and compa\u00f1eros who are Zapatista bases of support could reach much further. With the Little School, their voices carry thousands and thousands of kilometers, not like our bullets on January 1, 1994, that only went 50 meters, or 100 meters, and maybe some 300 or 400 meters. The teachings of the Little School cross oceans, borders, and skies to reach you, compa\u00f1eras, compa\u00f1eros.<\/p>\n

We rebellious indigenous know that there are other indigenous rebellions that also know what neoliberal capitalism is about.<\/p>\n

There are also rebellious brothers and sisters who are not indigenous but who write to share in this edition what they think and how they view this system that is destroying planet earth. That is why we include the words of our anarchist compa\u00f1eras and compa\u00f1eros in this edition of the magazine.<\/p>\n

Well, compa\u00f1eros of the Sixth, it is good that those who came saw with their own eyes and heard with their own ears what is happening here, and they left ready and willing to communicate this to those who couldn\u2019t come.<\/p>\n

In this first edition of the magazine we will begin to share some of the words and ideas of our compa\u00f1eras and compa\u00f1eros who are Zapatista bases of support, families, guardians and guardianas, and teachers, about how they viewed the students at the Little School. Throughout the first editions of our publication we will share the evaluations made by the Little School teachers, votanes, families, and coordinators from the zones of the five caracoles.<\/p>\n

Just as you have talked about or published what you lived, heard, and saw in our Zapatista territory, here you can read how we saw and heard those who came and raised the flag of ZAPATISTA REBELLION.<\/p>\n
