Este Centro de Derechos Humanos condena el asesinato de Juan V\u00e1zquez Guzm\u00e1n, ex-Secretario general de los adherentes a La Otra Campa\u00f1a (La Sexta) en el ejido de San Sebasti\u00e1n Bachaj\u00f3n, quien se destac\u00f3 por su participaci\u00f3n activa en defensa de la Tierra y el Territorio ante el despojo gubernamental de Las Cascadas de Agua Azul y la imposici\u00f3n de la Caseta de Cobro en los accesos.<\/p>\n
Seg\u00fan informaci\u00f3n proporcionada a este Centro, el pasado mi\u00e9rcoles 24 de abril a las 23:00 horas personas desconocidas acertaron 5 impactos de bala a Juan V\u00e1zquez quien de manera inmediata perdi\u00f3 la vida.<\/p>\n
Vecinos de la regi\u00f3n refieren que Juan fue atacado justo cuando estaba llegando a su domicilio, de inmediato los agresores escaparon a bordo de una camioneta roja, doble cabina, misma que tom\u00f3 la carretera que conduce a la cabecera municipal de Sital\u00e1, misma que tiene accesos de salida a los municipios de Ocosingo, Canc\u00fac y Chil\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Desde el 2007 Juan V\u00e1zquez participaba activamente en la defensa de la Tierra y el Territorio de San Sebastian Bachaj\u00f3n[1], situaci\u00f3n por la cual sosten\u00eda un amparo que actualmente est\u00e1 en revisi\u00f3n en el Tercer Tribunal Colegiado, con sede en Tuxtla Guti\u00e9rrez, bajo el n\u00famero de expediente 118\/2013.<\/p>\n
El pasado 17 de abril los ejidatarios de San Sebastian Bachaj\u00f3n adherentes a La Otra Campa\u00f1a de la Sexta Declaraci\u00f3n de la Selva Lacandona, denunciaron p\u00fablicamente[2] que su Territorio es amenazado por la pol\u00edtica oficial de despojo territorial se\u00f1alando continuidad bajo el actual gobierno del estado.<\/p>\n
