De la oposici\u00f3n exitosa a un aeropuerto que hubiera aniquilado las f\u00e9rtiles tierras del valle de Texcoco, los atenquenses pasaron a la brutal represi\u00f3n en mayo de 2006, en la que tuvo responsabilidad protag\u00f3nica el entonces gobernador Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto. Luego los compa\u00f1eros presos con inveros\u00edmiles condenas y la lucha por su liberaci\u00f3n. Y siempre, la defensa del agua, el suelo, la vida de un pueblo al que Trinidad Ram\u00edrez honra con su voz, su perseverancia y su valent\u00eda. La herida se mantiene abierta, como abiertas se mantienen las p\u00e1ginas de la Historia para este pueblo ejemplar.<\/p>\n<p>Con apenas 16 minutos de duraci\u00f3n, &#8220;La herida se mantiene abierta&#8221; es una s\u00edntesis de todos estos a\u00f1os de ejemplar lucha que ha sumado triunfos importantes: derogaron el decreto expropiatorio de sus tierras para la construcci\u00f3n de un aeropuerto, sacaron a sus presos de la c\u00e1rcel v\u00eda ordenamiento de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Naci\u00f3n, lograron relacionarse con otras luchas, sin dejar de anunciarnos a todos la importancia de su protesta, y con Trini a la cabeza, enfrentaron a Pe\u00f1a Nieto con raz\u00f3n y verdad. No es poca cosa en el M\u00e9xico actual.<!--:--><!--:en--><br \/>\nThe experience of San Salvador Atenco in the State of Mexico, has left a sign in the popular resistance movements of the last decade and the trace continues. After the successful opposition to the construction of an airport, that would had annihilated the fertile soils of the valley of Texcoco, the people from Atenco were confronted to police brutality on May 2006, the responsible of that repression was the former governor of the State of Mexico, Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto. Then their comrades had to face unbelievable prison sentences and the struggle for their liberation. And without a break, the defense of water, soil and the life of the people and their home town to whom Trinidad Ram\u00edrez honors with her voice, her perseverance and her courage. The wound remains open, as are also open the pages of History for this exemplary people.<\/p>\n<p>In only 16 minutes &#8220;The wound remains open&#8221; synthesizes an exemplary struggle of this last years, a struggle that has added up important triumphs: they revoked the decree that was meant to expropriate their lands in order to construct an airport; they achieved the liberation of their prisoners through a writ of mandamus of the Supreme Court of Justice; they related their struggle to other struggles always declaring the importance of their protest with Trini at the head of it they confronted Pe\u00f1a Nieto with profound convictions and with the truth.
