La diseminaci\u00f3n de actos por la libertad de Francisco Santiz L\u00f3pez y Alberto Patisht\u00e1n G\u00f3mez, presos ind\u00edgenas de Chiapas, ha llevado la segunda semana mundial, denominada A tumbar las paredes del calabozo, a decenas de portales electr\u00f3nicos e incontables cuentas de Twitter y Facebook, a trav\u00e9s de im\u00e1genes que muestran acciones y protestas en lugares p\u00fablicos de diversas entidades federativas, lo mismo que decenas de ciudades en Europa, \u00c1frica, Am\u00e9rica Latina, Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1, muchas ante embajadas y consulados de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n
En tanto, la Subsecretar\u00eda de Asuntos Jur\u00eddicos y Derechos Humanos de la Secretar\u00eda de Gobernaci\u00f3n fij\u00f3 su postura respecto a las demandas por la libertad de los presos pol\u00edticos de Chiapas que han debido enfrentar las legaciones diplom\u00e1ticas de M\u00e9xico en diversos pa\u00edses: En cuanto a otorgar la libertad inmediata al C. Francisco Santiz L\u00f3pez se advierte que a esta instancia no le asiste la facultad de decretar dicha solicitud. Respecto a la desaparici\u00f3n en Banavil de Alonso L\u00f3pez Luna en diciembre pasado, durante una agresi\u00f3n de pri\u00edstas armados en los hechos violentos de los cuales se culpa a Santiz L\u00f3pez, base de apoyo zapatista, la dependencia simplemente notifica que hay una investigaci\u00f3n en curso por presunto homicidio del desaparecido. Firma Carlos Gardu\u00f1o Salinas, director general adjunto de Investigaci\u00f3n y Atenci\u00f3n de Casos de Gobernaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Cabe recordar que el pasado 28 de mayo, el Movimiento por la Paz con Justicia y Dignidad permiti\u00f3 al profesor Mart\u00edn Ram\u00edrez, representante del pueblo de El Bosque, exponer el caso de Patisht\u00e1n frente a los cuatro candidatos presidenciales en el Castillo de Chapultepec, aunque ninguno expres\u00f3 compromiso al respecto.<\/p>\n
Esta semana se divulgaron decenas de im\u00e1genes donde se ven personas, incluso grandes grupos, sosteniendo carteles y retratos de los dos ind\u00edgenas chiapanecos y demandando su liberaci\u00f3n inmediata en Togo, Holanda, Canad\u00e1, B\u00e9lgica y Portugal. O bien desde ciudades como Valencia, Carcasona, Par\u00eds, Se\u00fal, Chicago, Bilbao, Buenos Aires, Tur\u00edn, R\u00edo de Janeiro o Cochabamba.<\/p>\n
En su edici\u00f3n de este lunes, el semanario electr\u00f3nico Desinform\u00e9monos, por ejemplo, recoge tambi\u00e9n im\u00e1genes solidarias, lo mismo en M\u00e9rida que Los Mochis, Valle de Chalco, Cholula, Uni\u00f3n Hidalgo, las playas de Huatulco, Cuernavaca, Toluca y el Distrito Federal. S\u00f3lo en Chiapas se registran actos p\u00fablicos exigiendo justicia para Santiz y Patisht\u00e1n en Tapachula, la Casa del Migrante Hogar de Misericordia en Arriaga, los manglares de la costa, San Andr\u00e9s Larr\u00e1inzar, El Bosque, Oventic y Acteal. Otras manifestaciones favorables a esta demanda se han registrado en Totonacapan, Cher\u00e1n, San Crist\u00f3bal de las Casas, Tuxtla Guti\u00e9rrez, Jalapa y Quer\u00e9taro.<\/p>\n
En Nueva York, los grupos Mujeres Ocupando Wall Street (WOW) y Aliadas y Aliados Anti-Racismo, ambos del Movimiento Ocupa Wall Street, se sumaron a la segunda Semana de lucha mundial por la libertad de Patisht\u00e1n y Santiz L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n
Sin embargo, ni las autoridades federales ni las estatales de Chiapas han mostrado mayor disposici\u00f3n, salvo la declarativa, para responder a esta demanda, que se basa en la demostrada inocencia de ambos presos.** There have been demonstrations in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the US; many outside\u00a0\u00a0Mexican offices<\/p>\n

The spread of acts for the freedom of Francisco Santiz L\u00f3pez and Alberto Patisht\u00e1n G\u00f3mez, indigenous prisoners in Chiapas, has carried the second worldwide week named \u2018Bringing Down the Prison Walls\u2019 to dozens of electronic portals and innumerable Twitter and Facebook accounts, through images that show actions and protests in public places in various state entities, as well as in dozens of cities in Europe, Africa, Latin America, the Unites States and Canada, many outside Mexican embassies and consulates.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Undersecretary for Legal and Human Rights Issues in the Interior Ministry fixed his position with respect to the demands for the freedom of the two Chiapas political prisoners that have been presented at the diplomatic delegations of Mexico in different countries: \u201cAs for granting immediate freedom to Francisco Santiz L\u00f3pez, it is advised that this agency does not have the authority to issue this request.\u201d With respect to the disappearance of Alonso L\u00f3pez Luna in Banavil last December, during an attack by armed PRI members, the violent acts of which Santiz L\u00f3pez, a Zapatista support base, is accused, the agency simply gives notice that there is an investigation underway \u201cfor alleged homicide\u201d of the disappeared. It is signed by Carlos Gardu\u00f1o Salinas, assistant director general for Investigation and Attention to Interior Cases.<\/p>\n
It is important to remember that last May 28, the Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity permitted Professor Mart\u00edn Ram\u00edrez, representative of the people of El Bosque, to expound on Patisht\u00e1n\u2019s case in front of the four presidential candidates at the Chapultepec Castle, although no one expressed any commitment in that regard.<\/p>\n
This week dozens of images were published wherein people are seen, including large groups, holding signs and pictures of the two indigenous Chiapans and demanding their immediate freedom, in Togo, Holland, Canada, Belgium and Portugal; and from cities like Valencia, Carcasonne, Paris, Seoul, Chicago, Bilbao, Buenos Aires, Turin, R\u00edo de Janeiro or Cochabamba.<\/p>\n
In its edition this Monday, the electronic weekly\u00a0Desinform\u00e9monos<\/em>, for example, also gathers solidarity images, the same in Merida as in Los Mochis, Valle de Chalco, Cholula, Uni\u00f3n Hidalgo, the beaches of Huatulco, Cuernavaca, Toluca and the Federal District. Only in Chiapas are public events taking place demanding justice for Santiz and Patisht\u00e1n in Tapachula, the Home of Mercy, a migrant shelter in Arriaga, the coastal mangrove swamps, San Andr\u00e9s Larr\u00e1inzar, El Bosque, Oventic and Acteal.
