La Comisi\u00f3n Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (CIDH) anunci\u00f3 el otorgamiento de medidas cautelares urgentes (MC 77\/12) en favor del preso de conciencia Alberto Patisht\u00e1n G\u00f3mez, ante el grave peligro que corren su vida y su salud por el empeoramiento de un glaucoma no atendido. Esto, mientras aumentan las humillaciones y malos tratos contra el profesor tzotzil, quien ahora reporta que fue rapado en el penal de Guasave, Sinaloa, donde se encuentra desde octubre.<\/p>\n<p>La CIDH solicit\u00f3 al gobierno de M\u00e9xico instruir a las autoridades competentes &#8220;a realizar los ex\u00e1menes m\u00e9dicos que permitan evaluar la salud del beneficiario y brindarle el tratamiento adecuado&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el Centro de Derechos Humanos Fray Bartolom\u00e9 de las Casas (Frayba) denunci\u00f3 que &#8220;el traslado injustificado de Patisht\u00e1n fue con la intenci\u00f3n de discriminar, castigar y reprimir al preso pol\u00edtico tzotzil, que se ha caracterizado como defensor de derechos humanos en las c\u00e1rceles de Chiapas&#8221;, y llam\u00f3 a las autoridades &#8220;a garantizar el acceso a la justicia, ya que los retrasos y obstrucciones impuestas, en nombre de la ley, ponen en riesgo su vida mientras est\u00e1 bajo custodia del Estado mexicano&#8221;. Record\u00f3 que &#8220;a pesar de las reformas al art\u00edculo primero constitucional, \u00e9ste no cumple su obligaci\u00f3n de respetar, proteger y garantizar los derechos humanos reconocidos en la Constituci\u00f3n y en los instrumentos internacionales que ha firmado y ratificado&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Patisht\u00e1n, adherente de la otra campa\u00f1a, expres\u00f3 en un escrito: &#8220;Con profundo pesar, tocando con mi mano la cabeza me doy cuenta que las autoridades que hablan del respeto de los derechos humanos no son otra cosa que demagogia pol\u00edtica para enga\u00f1ar&#8221;. Las autoridades del Centro Federal de Readaptaci\u00f3n Social de Guasave &#8220;han actuado contra mi voluntad y atentado contra mi dignidad no s\u00f3lo de ind\u00edgena y ser humano, sino de mis usos y costumbres, durante siglos, como ind\u00edgena, traemos el cabello normal para nuestra protecci\u00f3n en el trabajo del campo y otros, y hoy me he mirado mi reflejo en una l\u00e1mina que sirve como espejo y no he podido evitar una l\u00e1grima al pensar que pr\u00f3ximamente mi familia me ver\u00e1 totalmente sin cabello, esto es un escarnio m\u00e1s al que ahora me encuentro como una represalia a esa lucha que por mi libertad he venido sosteniendo. \u00bfCu\u00e1nto m\u00e1s, se\u00f1ores gobernantes, habremos de soportar estas vejaciones? No es la justicia que tanto he pedido. Exijo una vez m\u00e1s nuestras libertades inmediatas de la Voz del Amate y Solidarios de la Voz del Amate y el respeto de nuestras costumbres&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Ante ello, Frayba conden\u00f3 &#8220;las recientes acciones del gobierno federal, que violentan el acceso a la justicia y defensa del preso&#8221;. Tras comprobar que su traslado &#8220;injustificado&#8221; de Chiapas a Sinaloa &#8220;fue ordenado por el secretario del Gobierno, No\u00e9 Casta\u00f1\u00f3n Le\u00f3n&#8221;, el Centro promovi\u00f3 un amparo, otorgado favorablemente con la orden de su retorno inmediato al penal de San Crist\u00f3bal.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, el gobierno federal &#8220;sigui\u00f3 obstaculizando el retorno y la liberaci\u00f3n&#8221; al promover un &#8220;recurso de revisi\u00f3n&#8221; al amparo. Este recurso dilatorio fue admitido el 19 de abril por el primer tribunal colegiado del vig\u00e9simo circuito, en Tuxtla Guti\u00e9rrez, dando paso a la petici\u00f3n de Rafael P\u00e9rez Lozada, director de Unidad de dicho circuito, quien \u201cpublic\u00f3 oficialmente que el expediente fue remitido al segundo tribunal colegiado en Canc\u00fan, Quintana Roo, \u2018para que en auxilio de las labores de este tribunal, dicho \u00f3rgano jurisdiccional pronuncie la sentencia correspondiente\u2019\u201d. Esto, seg\u00fan Frayba, &#8220;exhibe dilaci\u00f3n y obstrucci\u00f3n al acceso a la justicia del gobierno federal, en complicidad con el de Chiapas, en perjuicio de Patisht\u00e1n, que en junio cumplir\u00e1 12 a\u00f1os de reclusi\u00f3n injusta&#8221;.<!--:--><!--:en-->** The grave deterioration of his health is one of the reasons for the measure<\/p>\n<p>** They attempt against my dignity by violating my customs, accuses the indigenous<\/p>\n<p>By: Hermann Bellinghausen<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/radiozapatista.org\/wp-admin\/Peri%C3%B3dico%20La%20Jornada\" target=\"_blank\">Peri\u00f3dico La Jornada<\/a><\/p>\n<p>San Crist\u00f3bal de las Casas, Chiapas, May 25, 2012<\/p>\n<p>The  Inter-American Human Rights Commission (IAHRC) announced the granting  of urgent precautionary measures (MC 77\/12) in favour of the prisoner of  conscience Alberto Patisht\u00e1n G\u00f3mez, faced with grave danger to his life  and health because of the worsening of his untreated glaucoma. This  occurs while the humiliations and mistreatment increase against the  Tzotzil professor, who now reports that he was shaved in the prison at  Guasave, Sinaloa, where he has been since October.<\/p>\n<p>The  IAHRC  asked the government of Mexico to instruct the competent authorities  \u201cto carry out the medical examinations that permit an evaluation of the  beneficiary\u2019s health and to offer him adequate treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For  its part, the Fray Bartolom\u00e9 de las Casas Human Rights Centre (Frayba)  denounced that \u201cthe unjustified transfer of Patisht\u00e1n was with the  intention of discriminating, punishing and repressing the Tzotzil  political prisoner, who has been characterized as a defender of human  rights in the prisons of Chiapas,\u201d and called on the authorities \u201cto  guarantee access to  justice, since the delays and obstructions imposed, in the name of the  law, put his life at risk while he is in the custody of the Mexican  State.\u201d It remembered that: \u201cdespite the reforms to article one of the  Constitution, this [action] does not fulfill its obligation to respect,  protect and guarantee the human rights recognized in the Constitution  and in the international instruments that it has signed and ratified.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Patisht\u00e1n, an adherent to the<em> Other Campaign,<\/em> expressed  in a letter: \u201cWith profound regret, touching my head with my hand I  realize  that the authorities that talk of respect for human rights are nothing  more than political demagoguery to deceive.\u201d Authorities at the Federal  Centre for Social Re-adaptation in Guasave \u201chave acted against my will  and attacked my dignity not only as an indigenous man and a human being,  but against my uses and customs, for centuries, as an indigenous man,  we have worn our hair normal for our protection working in the field and  elsewhere, and today I have seen my reflection on a metal sheet that is  used as a mirror and I have not been able to avoid a tear upon thinking  that soon my family will see me totally without hair. That is one more  act of contempt that I now encounter as a reprisal for that struggle  that I have been maintaining for my freedom. How many more,\u00a0<em>se\u00f1ores<\/em> rulers, will have to withstand these vexations? This is not the justice for which I have asked so often. Once again I demand\u00a0\u00a0immediate   freedom for those of us in the Voice of El Amate (la Voz del Amate) and  those in Solidarity with the Voice of El Amate, and respect for our  customs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before  that, Frayba condemned \u201cthe recent actions by the federal government,  which violate the prisoner\u2019s access to justice and defence.\u201d After  proving that his \u201cunjustified transfer\u201d from Chiapas to Sinaloa \u201cwas  ordered by the (Chiapas) Secretary of Government, No\u00e9 Casta\u00f1\u00f3n Le\u00f3n,\u201d  the Center promoted an\u00a0<em>amparo<\/em>, which was favourably granted with an order for his immediate return to the prison in San  Crist\u00f3bal.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless,  the federal government \u201ccontinued placing obstacles in the way of his  return and freedom\u201d by promoting an \u201cappeal for review\u201d of the\u00a0<em>amparo<\/em>.
