Aqu\u00ed compartimos con ustedes el s\u00e9ptimo y \u00faltimo informe sobre la \u201cSemana de Lucha Mundial por la Libertad de Patisht\u00e1n y S\u00e1ntiz L\u00f3pez: A Tumbar las Paredes del Calabozo,\u201d en el d\u00eda final de dicha semana.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Informamos que hemos recibido, y difundemos por este medio, un video mensaje de parte de nuestr@s compas del Movimiento Sin Tierra (MST) de Brasil, como parte de las acciones mundiales realizadas durante la Semana de Lucha Mundial. En este video, Rafael, un representante del MST, nos explica las razones porque ell@s se solidarizan con los dos presos pol\u00edticos chiapanecos y con la lucha nacional e internacional por su liberaci\u00f3n. Dice el compa\u00f1ero brasile\u00f1o que respeto al caso de Alberto, para tener una democracia verdadera es necesario formentar la educaci\u00f3n y formaci\u00f3n popular, y por tanto, defender a las personas que las promueven. Castigar a estas personas ser\u00eda un grave error en su contra y un acto irracionable e injusto. Adem\u00e1s a\u00f1ade que el hecho de que Alberto ya lleva 12 a\u00f1os es evidencia de que es muy \u201ccapaz\u201d y en s\u00ed ha hecho un \u201ctrabajo bueno\u201d para su pueblo y en contra de los intereses de los capitalistas y sus lacayos pol\u00edticos. Sobre Francisco, nuestro compa del MST indica que su movimiento tiene una \u201crelaci\u00f3n de admiraci\u00f3n y respeto\u201d a l@s Zapatistas. Sugiere, adem\u00e1s, que el encarcelamiento injusto y arbitrario se puede considerar un crimen contra la poblaci\u00f3n, contra la democracia. Existe mucha verdad en sus palabras, y por eso nos da gusto poder compartir con ustedes el videomensaje en su totalidad aqu\u00ed en este enlace:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"244\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-hUSCv-GPqU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Esta particular semana de lucha se termina hoy, pero aun nos queda mucho trabajo por hacer, ya que siguen encarcelados injustamente nuestros dos presos.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Siguen sus presencias, sus cuerpos, metidos en unos calabozos por crimenes que no cometieron, mientras que los que s\u00ed hacen da\u00f1o a nuestros pueblos, a nuestra Madre Tierra, siguen impunes, gozando las riquezas que nos han despojado violentamente.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Nos da asco. Nos da coraje. Nos da rabia. Today being the closing day, here we share with you the seventh and final update on the \u201cWeek of Worldwide Struggle for the Liberation of Patisht\u00e1n and S\u00e1ntiz L\u00f3pez: Bringing Down the Prison Walls.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We have received, and will circulate herein, a new video message from our compas of the Landless Workers Movement (Movimento Sem Terra) of Brazil, as part of the global actions executed during the Week of Worldwide Action. In this video, Rafael, a representative of MST, explains to us the reasons behind their support and solidarity for the two political prisoners of Chiapas and the national and international struggle for their liberation. Our Brazilian comrade states that with regards to Alberto\u2019s case, popular education and learning must be nourished in order to have real democracy, and therefore, those who do so must be defended. Punishing educators would constitute a grave error against this goal and represent an irrational and unjust act. He adds, moreover, that the fact that Alberto has already spent 12 years in prison speaks to his abilities and demonstrates that he has indeed done \u201cexcellent work\u201d for his people and against the interests of the capitalists and their political lackeys. Concerning Francisco, our compa from the MST states that his movement has a \u201crelationship of admiration and respect\u201d for the Zapatistas. He goes on to suggest that unjust and arbitrary incarceration can be regarded as a crime against the population and democracy. There exists much truth in his words and for this reason, we are happy to be able to share with you the full message here:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"244\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-hUSCv-GPqU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Although this particular week of struggle ends today, there still remains much work to be done, as our two prisoners remain unjustly imprisoned.<\/p>\n<p>Their physical bodies remain stuck in disgusting cells for crimes that they did not commit, while those who do harm to our people and our Mother Earth, continue to enjoy impunity and the wealth that they have robbed violently from us.<\/p>\n<p>It sickens us. It enrages us. It causes us agony. It fills us full of emotion and strength to tear down the walls that confine them.<\/p>\n<p>We view them as our prisoners, our brothers.<\/p>\n<p>And it has occurred to us that Alberto and Francisco\u2019s dreams are very similar to our own, as migrants.
