A qui\u00e9nes defienden la vida con su vida misma<\/p><\/div><\/article><\/main><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estamos a menos de dos meses del Encuentro Global por el Clima y la Vida \u2013 ANTICOP 2024, en un momento crucial que nos convoca a unir nuestras fuerzas y corazones en torno a una causa com\u00fan: la defensa de la Madre Tierra. En nuestra traves\u00eda hacia noviembre, ya hemos iniciado el di\u00e1logo en nuestros foros virtuales. (https:\/\/mirrorssouthglobal.org<\/a>).
Estos intercambios nos sirven como pre\u00e1mbulo a los trabajos que nos esperan y nos ayudan a afinar nuestras propuestas y estrategias.En esta segunda llamada, queremos nombrar a nuestros hermanoas del EZLN y el CNI-CIG, porque su ejemplo y sus pasos nos han ense\u00f1ado a abrazar con fuerza la lucha contra el capitalismo, el patriarcado y el colonialismo, a trabajar cada d\u00eda por ese mundo donde quepan muchos mundos. Su valent\u00eda y perseverancia nos inspiran a seguir adelante, incluso cuando los desaf\u00edos parecen abrumadores. Reiteramos la invitaci\u00f3n hecha, ser\u00eda un honor para nosotros contar con su presencia.
Su palabra, ejemplo y gu\u00eda son cruciales para construir un futuro en el que la justicia y la equidad prevalezcan.Esta iniciativa naci\u00f3 de una profunda reflexi\u00f3n sobre las tormentas que enfrentamos y sentimos en nuestra realidad cotidiana. Tras revisar la Sexta Declaraci\u00f3n de la Selva Lacandona y la Declaraci\u00f3n por la Vida, decidimos unir esfuerzos para hermanar nuestras luchas entre Pueblos,
Tribus, Naciones, Comunidades, Barrios, Organizaciones, Colectiv@s y activistas de diferentes rincones del planeta que tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n comprometidos en defender a la Madre Tierra y la Vida. Desde el inicio, quienes tomamos la iniciativa, sab\u00edamos que enfrentar\u00edamos a qui\u00e9nes creen tener todas las respuestas y solo escuchan el dulce sonido de su propia voz. Nos enfrentamos a una amplia gama de actores, desde quienes est\u00e1n en el poder hasta aquellos que aunque lo critican, lo abusan en los espacios comunes. Queden tranquilas las vanguardias, no estamos buscando a sus bases, ni convocando a sus
p\u00fablicos cautivos. Se escuchan rumores, mentiras y silencios c\u00f3mplices.
Parece que es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil destruir que construir, juzgar que comprender.
Sin embargo, nosotres estamos firmemente comprometidos a dialogar las diferencias, poniendo lo com\u00fan frente a las adversidades, desde la honestidad y la profundidad de la palabra compa\u00f1era. Nos dedicamos a la construcci\u00f3n constante y colectiva porque so\u00f1amos lo imposible y creemos
en un futuro mejor.<\/p>El momento para convocarnos es ahora. Este llamado est\u00e1 dirigido a todas las personas qui\u00e9nes se sienten invisibles, atrapadas en la desesperaci\u00f3n y la deuda, a menudo abandonadas y solas, a quienes

sentimos la necesidad de enfrentarnos juntas y organizadas a las tormentas que se avecinan. Es una invitaci\u00f3n a so\u00f1ar en construir o
recomenzar nuestros territorios en autonom\u00eda y con libre autodeterminaci\u00f3n.Hemos sido testigos en diversas geograf\u00edas del planeta del crecimiento de una \u201cizquierda difuminada\u201d que, poco a poco, revel\u00f3 su verdadera piel, mostrando su car\u00e1cter neoliberal y profundamente
fascista en sus acciones. Esta supuesta alternativa progresista no protesta contra la militarizaci\u00f3n ni cuestiona los planes imperialistas.
Con una mano ofrece programas sociales, mientras con la otra entreg\u00f3 territorios al capital transnacional. En M\u00e9xico, esta izquierda neoliberal puede abrazar a Evo Morales, pero tambi\u00e9n cierra las
fronteras a las personas de Centroam\u00e9rica y muestra su desprecio por quienes defienden la tierra y el territorio, reafirmando el programa de despojo, exacerbaci\u00f3n de los extractivismos y apertura al colonialismo verde.Estamos viendo la continuidad de los megaproyectos de capital transnacional que despreciando a los pueblos contin\u00faan imponi\u00e9ndose sobre nuestros territorios, Estos megaproyectos no s\u00f3lo arrasan con la
tenencia de la tierra, tambi\u00e9n mutilan la identidad, la cultura, la lengua y la espiritualidad de los pueblos. Denunciamos al mismo tiempo, las imposiciones y complicidades entre gobierno, corporaciones y
estructuras criminales para poner al territorio mexicano a jugar en una apuesta de transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica contrapuesta a los intereses de los pueblos y sus territorios.Quienes convocamos al Encuentro Global por el Clima y la Vida buscamos construir desde abajo, con una organizaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida que recupera las numerosas luchas en defensa de la vida y el territorio de nuestros pueblos. Queremos evitar imponer agendas para escucharnos entre pares, siempre con la lucha por la vida como nuestro horizonte com\u00fan.<\/p>En nuestro encuentro, queremos permitirnos so\u00f1ar con un di\u00e1logo enriquecedor entre movimientos, pueblos, organizaciones, colectivos y activistas. Queremos replantear nuestras estrategias y avanzar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la denuncia, hacia acciones concretas y transformadoras.

To those who defend life with their very lives<\/p>

We are less than two months away from the Global Encuentro for Climate and Life \u2013 ANTICOP 2024, at a crucial moment that calls to unite our forces and hearts around a common cause: the defense of Mother
Earth. On our journey towards November, we have already started the dialogues in our virtual forums (https:\/\/mirrorssouthglobal.org<\/a>). These exchanges serve as a preamble to the work that awaits us, helping us to refine our proposals and strategies.<\/p>In this second call, we want to name our sisters of the EZLN and the CNI-CIG, because their example and their steps have taught us to embrace with strength the struggle against capitalism, patriarchy and

colonialism\u2014to work every day for that world where many worlds flourish.
Their courage and perseverance inspire us to move forward, even when the challenges seem overwhelming. We insist on our invitation. It would be an honor for us to have your presence. Your word, example and guidance are crucial to build a future where justice and equity prevail.<\/p>

This initiative was born out of a deep reflection on the tempests we face and feel in our daily reality. After reviewing the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle and the Declaration for Life, we decided to join efforts to unite our struggles among Peoples, Tribes, Nations, Communities, Neighborhoods, Organizations, Collectives and activists from different corners of the planet who are also committed to
defend Mother Earth and Life.<\/p>

From the beginning, those of us who took the initiative knew that we would face those who believe they have all the answers and only listen to the sweet sound of their own voice. We face a wide range of actors, from those who are in power to those who\u2014even while criticizing it\u2014abuse it in common spaces. Let the vanguards rest assured, we are not looking for their bases, nor are we summoning their captive audiences. Rumors, lies and complicit silences are heard. It seems that it is easier to destroy than to build, to judge than to understand. However, we are firmly committed to dialogue the differences, putting the common in the face of adversities, from the honesty and depth of the comrade word. We are dedicated to constant and collective construction because we dream the impossible and believe in a better future.<\/p>

The time to convene is now. This call is addressed to all people who feel invisible, trapped in despair and debt, often abandoned and alone\u2014to those of us who feel the need to face the storms ahead together
and organized. It is an invitation to dream of building or restarting our territories in autonomy and free self-determination.<\/p>

We have witnessed in various geographies of the planet the growth of a \u201cblurred left\u201d that, little by little, revealed its true skin, showing its neoliberal and deeply fascist character in its actions. This supposedly progressive alternative does not protest against militarization or question imperialist plans. With one hand it offers social programs, while with the other it hands over territories to transnational capital. In Mexico, this neoliberal left may embrace Evo Morales, but it also closes the borders to people from Central America and shows its contempt for those who defend land and territory, reaffirming the program of dispossession, exacerbation of extractivism and openness to green colonialism.<\/p>

We are seeing the continuity of the megaprojects of transnational capital that, despising the peoples, continue to impose themselves on our territories. These megaprojects not only destroy land tenure, but
also mutilate the identity, culture, language and spirituality of the peoples. We denounce at the same time, the impositions and complicities between government, corporations and criminal structures to put the Mexican territory to play in an energy transition bet against the interests of the peoples and their territories.<\/p>

Those of us who call for the Global Encuentro for Climate and Life seek to build from below, with a solid organization that recovers the numerous struggles in defense of life and territory of our peoples. We
want to avoid imposing agendas in order to listen to each other, always with the struggle for life as our common horizon.<\/p>

In our meeting, we want to allow ourselves to dream of an enriching dialogue between movements, peoples, organizations, collectives and activists. We want to rethink our strategies and move beyond
denunciation, towards concrete and transformative actions.<\/p>

What path will we take after the Global Gathering? We will make that decision together. Together. Together. We will listen to each other in Oaxaca, ready to write the next chapter of our shared history.<\/p>
