A las personas que suscriben la Declaraci\u00f3n por la Vida:<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Les comunicamos lo siguiente:<\/p>\n
PRIMERO. \u2013 Desde hace algunos meses, despu\u00e9s de un largo y profundo an\u00e1lisis cr\u00edtico y autocr\u00edtico, y de consultar a todos los pueblos zapatistas, se decidi\u00f3 la desaparici\u00f3n de los Municipios Aut\u00f3nomos Rebeldes Zapatistas (MAREZ) y las Juntas de Buen Gobierno.<\/p>\n
SEGUNDO. \u2013 Todos los sellos, membretes, cargos, representaciones y acuerdos con el nombre de cualquier MAREZ o de cualquiera de las Juntas de Buen Gobierno, son inv\u00e1lidos a partir de este momento. Ninguna persona se puede presentar como miembro, autoridad o representante de cualquier MAREZ o Junta de Buen Gobierno. Los acuerdos sostenidos antes de esta fecha, con Organizaciones No Gubernamentales, organizaciones sociales, colectivos, grupos e instancias de solidaridad en M\u00e9xico y el mundo se mantienen hasta la expiraci\u00f3n de los mismos, pero no se podr\u00e1n hacer nuevos acuerdos con estas instancias de la autonom\u00eda zapatista, por la simple raz\u00f3n de que ya no existen.<\/p>\n
TERCERO. \u2013 Se mantienen los Caracoles, pero permanecer\u00e1n cerrados al exterior hasta nuevo aviso.<\/p>\n
CUARTO. \u2013 Las razones y el proceso por el que se tom\u00f3 esta decisi\u00f3n, se las iremos platicando poco a poco en los escritos siguientes. S\u00f3lo les adelanto que esta valoraci\u00f3n, en su fase final, se inici\u00f3 hace unos 3 a\u00f1os. Tambi\u00e9n les iremos explicando c\u00f3mo es y c\u00f3mo se ha ido gestando la nueva estructura de la autonom\u00eda zapatista.<\/p>\n
Todo eso, y m\u00e1s cosas, ir\u00e1n apareciendo en el momento oportuno.<\/p>\n
QUINTO. \u2013 Les avisamos que haremos una celebraci\u00f3n con motivo de los 30 a\u00f1os del inicio de la guerra contra el olvido. Esto en los meses de diciembre del 2023 y enero del 2024. Est\u00e1n invitadas todas las personas que firmaron la \u201cDeclaraci\u00f3n por la Vida\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Sin embargo, es nuestro deber, al mismo tiempo que se les invita, desalentarles. Contrario a lo que informa y desinforma la prensa oficialista, autodenominada cool<\/i>-progre-buena-ondita, las principales ciudades del suroriental estado mexicano de Chiapas est\u00e1n en un completo caos. Las presidencias municipales est\u00e1n ocupadas por lo que nosotros llamamos \u201csicarios legales\u201d o \u201cCrimen Desorganizado<\/b>\u201d. Hay bloqueos, asaltos, secuestros, cobro de piso, reclutamiento forzado, balaceras. Esto es efecto del padrinazgo del gobierno del estado y la disputa por los cargos que est\u00e1 en proceso. No son propuestas pol\u00edticas las que se enfrentan, sino sociedades criminales.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Entonces, pues claro les decimos que, a diferencia de otros a\u00f1os, no es seguro.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 San Crist\u00f3bal de las Casas, Comit\u00e1n, Las Margaritas y Palenque, por mencionar algunas cabeceras municipales, est\u00e1n en manos de uno de los c\u00e1rteles del crimen desorganizado y en disputa con otro. Esto es constatado por la llamada industria hotelera, tur\u00edstica, restaurantera y de servicios. Quienes trabajan en estos lugares lo saben y no lo han denunciado porque est\u00e1n amenazados y, adem\u00e1s, saben que es in\u00fatil cualquier petici\u00f3n, porque las autoridades estatales y municipales son las que delinquen y no tienen llenadera en la robadera que est\u00e1n haciendo.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 En las comunidades rurales el problema es m\u00e1s grave a\u00fan. Eso lo gritan quienes las habitan en todas las regiones de Chiapas, particularmente en toda la franja fronteriza con Guatemala.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Lo que se lee, escucha y se ve en la mayor\u00eda de los medios locales y nacionales, es s\u00f3lo un eco malo y sinverg\u00fcenza, de las redes sociales del gobierno del estado. La verdad es que las autoridades oficiales son el problema. S\u00ed, como en el resto del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Las fuerzas militares y polic\u00edacas federales, estatales y locales, no est\u00e1n en Chiapas para proteger a la poblaci\u00f3n civil. Est\u00e1n con el \u00fanico objetivo de frenar la migraci\u00f3n. \u00c9sa es la orden que vino desde el gobierno norteamericano. Como es su modo, han convertido la migraci\u00f3n en un negocio. El tr\u00e1fico y la trata de personas es un negocio de las autoridades que, mediante la extorsi\u00f3n, el secuestro y compraventa de migrantes, se enriquecen desvergonzadamente.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Entonces, pues no les aconsejamos que vengan. A menos, claro, que se organicen muy bien para hacerlo.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Entonces, aunque no les esperamos, les invitamos. Las fechas tentativas de las conmemoraciones son entre el 23 de diciembre del 2023 y el 7 de enero del 2024, siendo la celebraci\u00f3n central los d\u00edas 30-31 de diciembre y 1-2 de enero. <\/b>Luego les diremos el lugar. O sea que s\u00ed queremos que vengan, aunque no lo recomendamos.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Aunque no lleguen, no preocupar. Igual les mandaremos fotos y videos.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Bueno, eso si todav\u00eda hay mundo para esas fechas.<\/p>\n

We inform you of the following:<\/p>\n
FIRST. \u2013 A few months ago, after a long and profound critical and self-critical analysis, and after consulting all the Zapatista towns, it was decided to disappear the Zapatista Rebel Autonomous Municipalities (MAREZ) and the Good Government Juntas.<\/p>\n
SECOND. \u2013 All seals, letterheads, positions, representations and agreements with the name of any MAREZ or any of the Good Government Juntas are invalid from this moment on. No person can present themselves as a member, authority or representative of any MAREZ or Good Government Junta. The agreements held before this date, with Non-Governmental Organizations, social organizations, collectives, solidarity groups and instances in Mexico and the world are maintained until their expiration, but new agreements cannot be made with these bodies of Zapatista autonomy, for the simple reason that they no longer exist.<\/p>\n
THIRD. \u2013 The Caracoles remain, but they will remain closed to the outside world until further notice.<\/p>\n
FOURTH. \u2013 We will tell you the reasons and process by which this decision was made little by little in the following texts. I can only tell you that this evaluation, in its final phase, began about 3 years ago. We will also explain to you what the new structure of Zapatista autonomy is like and how it has been developing.<\/p>\n

The municipal presidencies are occupied by what we call \u201clegal hitmen\u201d or \u201cDisorganized Crime.\u201d There are blockades, assaults, kidnappings, \u201ccobro de piso\u201d, forced recruitment, shootings. This is the effect of the protection of the state government and the dispute over the political charges that is in process. San Crist\u00f3bal de las Casas, Comit\u00e1n, Las Margaritas and Palenque, to mention some municipal seats, are in the hands of one of the disorganized crime cartels and in dispute with another. What is read, heard and seen in the majority of local and national media is just a bad and shameless echo of the state government\u2019s social networks. The truth is that the official authorities are the problem. Yes, like in the rest of the country.<\/p>\n
Federal, state and local military and police forces are not in Chiapas to protect the civilian population. They have the sole purpose of stopping migration. That is the order that came from the North American government. As is their way, they have turned migration into a business. Human trafficking is a business of the authorities who, through extortion, kidnapping and buying and selling of migrants, shamelessly enrich themselves.<\/p>\n
So, we do not advise you to come. Unless, of course, you organize yourselves very well to do so.<\/p>\n
