Los abajo firmantes nos manifestamos en solidaridad con el movimiento kurdo compuesto por ni\u00f1xs, j\u00f3venxs, mujeres, identidades diversas y pueblo kurdo en pie de lucha por su derecho a la autonom\u00eda y la libre determinaci\u00f3n. A trav\u00e9s de nuestra voz personal y colectiva damos a conocer al mundo lo que est\u00e1 pasando en ese territorio justo ahora.<\/p>\n
FIRMA AQU\u00cd<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Situaci\u00f3n actual<\/b><\/p>\n Desde el 4 de octubre de 2023, fuerzas del ej\u00e9rcito turco bombardean sistem\u00e1ticamente pueblos, ciudades e infraestructuras en los distritos de Derik, Rimelan, Tirbesipi, Qamishlo, Amude, Hasake, Til Temir, Dirbesi, Manbij, Ain Issa, Kobane, Tal Rifat, Shehba, Shera y Sherawa, que abarcan una zona geogr\u00e1fica de aproximadamente 900 km de largo y 52 km de ancho de la Administraci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma del Norte y Este de Siria (AANES) en Kurdist\u00e1n.<\/p>\n Asentamientos civiles, veh\u00edculos, centrales el\u00e9ctricas, gasolineras, recursos h\u00eddricos y suministros de energ\u00eda, yacimientos petrol\u00edferos, centros de salud y hospitales, incluidos dos hospitales para atenci\u00f3n del Covid-19, f\u00e1bricas de cemento, campos de cultivo, graneros y empresas alimentarias, as\u00ed como la autopista M4 y los alrededores de los campos de refugiados de las regiones de Hasake, Derik, Sheba y Sherawa, habitados por al menos diez mil desplazados internos, han sido blanco de ataques de aviones de combate turcos, drones armados (UAV), artiller\u00eda y bombardeos de mortero. Estos ataques se han llevado a cabo desde bases del ej\u00e9rcito turco en territorio del Estado turco, as\u00ed como desde zonas del norte de Siria ocupadas desde 2016 por antiguas invasiones turcas, como Jerablus, Afrin, Gire Sipi y Serekaniye.<\/p>\n Durante los 3 primeros d\u00edas de los ataques, al menos 16 personas perdieron la vida y decenas resultaron heridas. Cerca de 2 millones de personas se han quedado sin electricidad, sin suministro suficiente de energ\u00eda y agua y sin acceso a atenci\u00f3n sanitaria. La Administraci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma del Norte y Este de Siria anunci\u00f3 en un comunicado que solo los bombardeos dirigidos contra la infraestructura el\u00e9ctrica han causado hasta ahora p\u00e9rdidas materiales de 56 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n Nos enfrentamos a una nueva dimensi\u00f3n de la guerra de invasi\u00f3n de Turqu\u00eda cuyo objetivo es destruir, ocupar y “limpiar \u00e9tnicamente” m\u00e1s zonas del norte de Siria. Los \u00faltimos ataques han sido anunciados por el gobierno turco con el objetivo de acabar con “todas las infraestructuras, superestructuras e instalaciones energ\u00e9ticas” para destruir todas las bases de vida en el norte y este de Siria y despoblar la regi\u00f3n. El objetivo son las vidas y la seguridad de m\u00e1s de 6 millones de personas de diferentes culturas y creencias -como kurdos, \u00e1rabes, sirios, circasianos, turcomanos, ezid\u00edes, cristianos, musulmanes y otros- que conviven en tierras comunes y satisfacen sus necesidades de vida dentro de las estructuras de la autonom\u00eda democr\u00e1tica. A pesar de los continuos ataques a\u00e9reos, diez mil habitantes de las ciudades y regiones atacadas han salido a la calle para condenar los ataques y declarar su determinaci\u00f3n de continuar su resistencia com\u00fan contra la guerra y la ocupaci\u00f3n, por una vida digna, en paz y libertad.<\/p>\n La \u00faltima guerra turca se suma a la guerra sistem\u00e1tica de drones, ataques a\u00e9reos y operaciones militares llevadas a cabo por las fuerzas del ej\u00e9rcito turco en las regiones kurdas en territorio sirio e iraqu\u00ed. Desde 2020, las vidas de trabajadores comunitarios, periodistas, pol\u00edticos, miembros de la Administraci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma, del movimiento de mujeres y de las fuerzas de autodefensa han sido blanco de ataques deliberados. Justo entre enero de 2022 y septiembre de 2023 debido a 190 bombardeos por drones turcos, 163 personas perdieron su vida y 28 fueron severamente heridos. Entre ellos hay docenas de miembros de las unidades YPG-YPJ y de las Fuerzas Democr\u00e1ticas Sirias (SDF, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) perdieron la vida. Unidades y fuerzas que han luchado contra el Estado Isl\u00e1mico para defender a la humanidad. Por lo anteriormente dicho, no parece ser una coincidencia que el ej\u00e9rcito turco iniciara su operaci\u00f3n masiva de ataques a\u00e9reos exactamente en un momento en que las fuerzas de las Fuerzas Democr\u00e1ticas Sirias llevaban a cabo operaciones a gran escala para impedir el resurgimiento del Estado Isl\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n Aunque todos estos ataques del ej\u00e9rcito turco en territorio sirio suponen claras violaciones del derecho internacional y cr\u00edmenes de guerra y, por tanto, est\u00e1n contribuyendo a agravar la crisis de humanidad en Siria y en todo Oriente Pr\u00f3ximo, ni la ONU ni otros organismos, Estados o fuerzas internacionales han condenado a\u00fan adecuadamente estos cr\u00edmenes ni han tomado medidas eficaces para ponerles fin.<\/p>\n Por lo tanto, pedimos a la comunidad internacional y a todos los organismos implicados que adopten medidas urgentes para impedir que se cometan m\u00e1s cr\u00edmenes contra la humanidad y poner fin a las pol\u00edticas de guerra y ocupaci\u00f3n de Turqu\u00eda.<\/p>\n Llamamos urgentemente a toda la gente sensible y comprometida del mundo a<\/b>:<\/p>\n – Contrarrestar las pol\u00edticas de desinformaci\u00f3n de Turqu\u00eda y la censura de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n proporcionando y difundiendo informaci\u00f3n procedente de fuentes de la propia regi\u00f3n objetivo.<\/p>\n Demandamos a los organismos internacionales y gobiernos<\/b>:<\/p>\n – Establecer una zona de exclusi\u00f3n a\u00e9rea para las fuerzas a\u00e9reas turcas, incluidos los veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos no tripulados (UAV) armados y no armados, sobre el espacio a\u00e9reo sirio e iraqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n Desde diferentes partes del mundo demandamos que:<\/b><\/p>\n – El gobierno turco ponga fin a sus ataques b\u00e9licos, pol\u00edticas de ocupaci\u00f3n y asesinatos sistem\u00e1ticos de defensores de los derechos de las mujeres y personas que viven en cualquier parte del Kurdist\u00e1n, especialmente en lo que respecta a los territorios del norte y este de Siria y el norte de Irak.<\/p>\n – Poner fin a la ocupaci\u00f3n y las pr\u00e1cticas genocidas de Turqu\u00eda en territorios sirios como en las regiones de Jerablus, Afrin, Gire Sipi y Serekaniye.<\/p>\n – Enjuiciamiento de los cr\u00edmenes de guerra y contra la humanidad -incluidos el genocidio y el feminicidio- cometidos por Erdogan y el gobierno del AKP, de conformidad con el derecho internacional.<\/p>\n Las grandes potencias del mundo no ven con buenos ojos las autonom\u00edas del pueblo kurdo porque atenta contra sus intereses y formas de ejercer el poder. Los grandes poderes mundiales no quieren que se propague el ejemplo de millones de personas kurdas que se re\u00fanen en m\u00e1s de cuatro mil asambleas para decidir el curso de sus vidas; donde las mujeres ejercen plenos derechos pol\u00edticos, econ\u00f3micos y sociales; donde el mismo pueblo se autodefiende con armas en pu\u00f1o; donde la justicia se ejerce desde los comit\u00e9s populares, donde los medios de producci\u00f3n son colectivos; donde nadie renuncia a su fe, a su lengua, a sus creencias y costumbres, sino que viven juntxs unxs con otrxs, aceptando sus diferencias y organiz\u00e1ndose con base en ellas. And through our personal and collective voice we want to let the world know what is happening in Kurdish territory right now.<\/p>\n ACT NOW:<\/strong> Add your name here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Current Situation<\/b><\/p>\n Since the 4th of October 2023, Turkish army forces have systematically been bombarding villages, towns and general infrastructure in the districts of Derik, Rimelan, Tirbesipi, Qamishlo, Amude, Hasake, Til Temir, Dirbesi, Manbij, Ain Issa, Kobane, Tal Rifat, Shehba, Shera and Sherawa, covering a geographical area of approximately 900 kms by 52 kms of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).<\/p>\n Turkish warplanes, armed drones (UAVs), artillery and mortars have been targeting civilian settlements and vehicles, electric power stations, gas stations, water resources and energy supplies, oil fields, health centres and hospitals (including two hospitals specialising in Covid-19 patients), cement factories, crop fields, granaries and food companies, as well as the M4 highway and the surroundings of refugee camps in the regions of Hasake, Derik, Sheba and Sherawa that are inhabited by ten thousands of internally displaced persons. These attacks have been carried out from Turkish army bases inside Turkey, as well as from areas within North Syria that are under Turkish occupation since 2016, such as Jerablus, Afrin, Gire Sipi and Serekaniye.<\/p>\n During the first three days of the current attacks at least 16 people lost their lives, and dozens have been injured. About two million people have been left without electricity, sufficient energy or water supplies and have no access to healthcare. In a press statement the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced that the bombardments targeting the electricity infrastructure alone have so far caused material losses of 56 million US dollars.<\/p>\n We are facing a new dimension of Turkey’s invasive war that is aimed at occupying, “ethnically cleansing”, and destroying more areas of North Syria. The latest attacks have been announced by the Turkish government with the declared aim of wiping out “all infrastructure, superstructure, and energy facilities” in order to destroy all basis of life in North and East Syria and to depopulate the region. These attacks are targeting the lives and the security of more than six million people of different cultures and believes \u2013such as Kurds, Arabs, Suryoye, Circassian, Turkmen, Ezidi, Christians, Muslim and others\u2013 living together on common land, and fulfilling their vital needs within the structures of Democratic Autonomy. Despite ongoing airstrikes, tens of thousands of residents of the cities and regions under attack are out on the streets condemning the attacks and declaring their determination to continue their common resistance against war and occupation \u2013for a life of dignity, peace and freedom.<\/p>\n The latest Turkish attacks add to the systematic drone warfare, airstrikes and military operations carried out by Turkish army forces in the Kurdish regions on Syrian and Iraqi territory. Since 2020, the lives of community workers, journalists, politicians, members of the Autonomous Administration, the women\u2019s movement and the self-defence forces have been deliberately targeted. Just between January 2022 and September 2023, due to about 190 Turkish drone strikes 163 people lost their lives and 218 were severely injured. Among them there are dozens of members of the YPG-YPJ and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) who have fought against Islamic State (ISIS) to defend humanity. Therefore, it does not seem to be a coincidence that the Turkish army started its massive air strike operation exactly at a time when SDF carried out large-scale operations to prevent the resurgence of ISIS.<\/p>\n Although all these attacks by the Turkish army on Syrian territory involve clear violations of international humanitarian law and war crimes and thus are contributing to deepen the humanitarian crisis in Syria and the whole Middle East, neither the UN nor other international bodies, states or forces have yet adequately condemned these crimes or taken any effective steps to stop them.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Therefore we call the international community and all concerned bodies to take urgent action to prevent further crimes against humanity and to stop Turkey’s war and occupation policies.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n We call urgently all the sensitive and committed people in the world to<\/b><\/p>\n We demand international organisation and governments to<\/b><\/p>\n From all over the world we demand urgently that<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n The great powers of the world do not view the autonomy of the Kurdish people in a favourable light, because it threatens their interests and ways of exercising power. The great world powers do not want to see the example of millions of Kurdish people being propagated. They do not want the world to know about the Kurdish people who meet in more than four thousand local assemblies to decide themselves over the course of their lives. In these assemblies, women exercise full political, economic and social rights. The same Kurdish people are out to defend themselves with weapons in their hands. They exercise justice through popular committees, and their means of production are collectively owned. None of them renounces their faith, their language, their beliefs or customs. They live together with others, accept their differences and organise themselves accordingly.
