A quienes firmaron la Declaraci\u00f3n por la Vida:
\nA la Sexta nacional e internacional:<\/p>\n

Compa\u00f1er@s y herman@s:<\/p>\n

Les decimos nuestras palabras y pensamientos sobre lo que ocurre actualmente en la geograf\u00eda que llaman Europa:<\/p>\n

PRIMERO.- Hay una fuerza agresora, el ej\u00e9rcito ruso.\u00a0 Hay intereses del gran capital en juego, por ambos lados.\u00a0 Quienes padecen ahora por los delirios de unos y los taimados c\u00e1lculos econ\u00f3micos de otros, son los pueblos de Rusia y Ucrania (y, tal vez pronto, los de otras geograf\u00edas cercanas o lejanas).\u00a0 Como zapatistas que somos no apoyamos a uno ni a otro Estado, sino a quienes luchan por la vida en contra del sistema.<\/p>\n

Cuando la invasi\u00f3n multinacional a Irak (hace casi 19 a\u00f1os), con el ej\u00e9rcito norteamericano a la cabeza, hubo movilizaciones en todo el mundo en contra de esa guerra.\u00a0 Nadie en su sano juicio pens\u00f3 que oponerse a la invasi\u00f3n era ponerse del lado de Sadam Hussein.\u00a0 Ahora es una situaci\u00f3n similar, aunque no igual.\u00a0 Ni Zelenski ni Putin.\u00a0 Alto a la guerra.<\/p>\n

SEGUNDO.- Distintos gobiernos se han alineado a uno u otro bando, haci\u00e9ndolo por c\u00e1lculos econ\u00f3micos.\u00a0 No hay ninguna valoraci\u00f3n humanista en ellos.\u00a0 Para estos gobiernos y sus \u201cide\u00f3logos\u201d hay intervenciones-invasiones-destrucciones buenas y hay malas.\u00a0 Las buenas son las que realizan sus afines, y las malas las que perpetran sus contrarios.\u00a0 El aplauso al criminal argumento de Putin para justificar la invasi\u00f3n militar de Ucrania, se convertir\u00e1 en lamento cuando, con las mismas palabras, se justifique la invasi\u00f3n a otros pueblos cuyos procesos no sean del agrado del gran capital.<\/p>\n

Invadir\u00e1n otras geograf\u00edas para salvarlas de la \u201ctiran\u00eda neonazi\u201d o para terminar con \u201cnarco-estados\u201d vecinos.\u00a0 Repetir\u00e1n entonces las mismas palabras de Putin: \u201cvamos a desnazificar<\/em>\u201d (o su equivalente) y abundar\u00e1n en \u201crazonamientos\u201d de \u201cpeligro para sus pueblos\u201d.\u00a0 Y entonces, como nos dicen nuestras compa\u00f1eras en Rusia: \u201cLas bombas rusas, los cohetes, las balas vuelan hacia los ucranianos y no les preguntan sobre sus opiniones pol\u00edticas y el idioma que hablan\u201d, <\/em>pero cambiar\u00e1 la \u201cnacionalidad\u201d de las unas y de los otros.<\/p>\n

TERCERO.- Los grandes capitales y sus gobiernos de \u201coccidente\u201d se sentaron a contemplar \u2013e incluso a alentar\u2013 c\u00f3mo la situaci\u00f3n se iba deteriorando. Luego, iniciada ya la invasi\u00f3n, esperaron a ver si Ucrania resist\u00eda, y haciendo cuentas de qu\u00e9 se pod\u00eda sacar de uno u otro resultado.\u00a0Como Ucrania resiste, entonces s\u00ed empiezan a extender facturas de \u201cayuda\u201d que ser\u00e1n cobradas despu\u00e9s.\u00a0Putin no es el \u00fanico sorprendido por la resistencia ucraniana.<\/p>\n

Quienes ganan en esta guerra son los grandes consorcios armamentistas y los grandes capitales que ven la oportunidad para conquistar, destruir\/reconstruir territorios, es decir, crear nuevos mercados de mercanc\u00edas y de consumidores, de personas.<\/p>\n

CUARTO.- En lugar de acudir a lo que difunden los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n y las redes sociales de los bandos respectivos \u2013y que ambos presentan como \u201cnoticias\u201d\u2013, o a los \u201can\u00e1lisis\u201d en la s\u00fabita proliferaci\u00f3n de expertos en geopol\u00edtica y suspirantes por el Pacto de Varsovia y la OTAN, decidimos buscar y preguntar a quienes, como nosotras, se empe\u00f1an en la lucha por la vida en Ucrania y Rusia.<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de varios intentos, la Comisi\u00f3n Sexta Zapatista logr\u00f3 hacer contacto con nuestros familiares en resistencia y rebeld\u00eda en las geograf\u00edas que llaman Rusia y Ucrania.<\/p>\n

QUINTO.- En resumen, \u00e9stos nuestros familiares, quienes adem\u00e1s levantan la bandera de la @<\/strong> libertaria, se mantienen firmes: en resistencia quienes est\u00e1n en el Donbass, en Ucrania; y en rebeld\u00eda quienes caminan y trabajan las calles y campos de Rusia.\u00a0 Hay detenidos y golpeados en Rusia por protestar contra la guerra.\u00a0Hay asesinados en Ucrania por el ej\u00e9rcito ruso.<\/p>\n

Les une entre ellos, y a ellos con nosotros, no s\u00f3lo el NO a la guerra, tambi\u00e9n el repudio a \u201calinearse\u201d con gobiernos que oprimen a su gente.<\/p>\n

En medio de la confusi\u00f3n y el caos en ambos lados, les mantienen firmes sus convicciones: su lucha por la libertad, su repudio a las fronteras y sus Estados Nacionales, y las respectivas opresiones que s\u00f3lo cambian de bandera.<\/p>\n

Nuestro deber es apoyarles en la medida de nuestras posibilidades.\u00a0Una palabra, una imagen, una tonada, un baile, un pu\u00f1o que se levanta, un abrazo \u2013as\u00ed sea desde geograf\u00edas lejanas\u2013, son tambi\u00e9n un apoyo que animar\u00e1 sus corazones.<\/p>\n

Resistir es persistir y es prevalecer.\u00a0Apoyemos a estos familiares en su resistencia, es decir, en su lucha por la vida.\u00a0Se los debemos y nos lo debemos a nosotros mismos.<\/p>\n

SEXTO.- \u00a0Por lo anterior, llamamos a la Sexta nacional e internacional que no lo ha hecho todav\u00eda, a que, de acuerdo a sus calendarios, geograf\u00edas y modos, se manifiesten en contra de la guerra y en apoyo de l@s ucranian@s y rus@s que luchan en sus geograf\u00edas por un mundo con libertad.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, llamamos a apoyar econ\u00f3micamente la resistencia en Ucrania en las cuentas que nos indicar\u00e1n en su momento.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, la Comisi\u00f3n Sexta del EZLN est\u00e1 haciendo lo propio, enviando un poco de ayuda a quienes, en Rusia y Ucrania, luchan contra la guerra.\u00a0Tambi\u00e9n se han iniciado contactos con nuestros familiares en SLUMIL K\u00b4AJXEMK\u00b4OP<\/em><\/strong> para crear un fondo econ\u00f3mico com\u00fan de apoyo a quienes resisten en Ucrania.<\/p>\n

Sin dobleces, gritamos y llamamos a gritar y exigir: Fuera el Ej\u00e9rcito Ruso de Ucrania.<\/p>\n

To those who signed the Declaration for Life:
\nTo the Sixth\u00a0in Mexico and abroad:
\nCompa\u00f1er@s, <\/em>brothers and sisters:<\/p>\n

These are our words and thoughts about what is occurring now in the geography called Europe:<\/p>\n

First: There is an aggressor:\u00a0the Russian army.\u00a0Big capital\u2019s interests are at play on both sides.\u00a0It is the peoples of Russia and Ukraine (and soon, perhaps, the peoples of other geographies near or far)\u00a0who are suffering because of the crazed delusions of some and the cunning economic calculations of others.\u00a0As Zapatistas, we do not support either state but rather those who are struggling for life against the system.<\/p>\n

During\u00a0the multinational invasion of Iraq (nearly 19 years ago), headed by United States\u2019 army, there were protests all over the world against that war.\u00a0No one in their right mind thought that opposing the invasion meant supporting Saddam Hussein.\u00a0The situation today is similar, though not the same.\u00a0Neither Zelensky nor Putin.\u00a0No to the war!<\/p>\n

Second: Different governments have allied themselves with one side or the other based on economic calculations devoid any of humanist considerations.\u00a0For these governments and their \u201cideologues\u201d there are good and bad interventions, invasions and destructive acts.\u00a0The good ones are those carried out by their allies and the bad ones are those perpetrated by their opponents.\u00a0The applause for Putin\u2019s criminal arguments justifying the military invasion of Ukraine will become laments when the same words are used to justify the invasion of other peoples whose destruction does not please big capital.<\/p>\n

Other geographies will be invaded to save them from \u201cneo-Nazi tyranny\u201d\u00a0or to eliminate neighboring \u201cnarco-states.\u201d\u00a0Putin\u2019s words will then be repeated: \u201cWe are going to de-nazify\u201d<\/em> (or their equivalent)\u00a0and there will be plenty of \u201creasons\u201d why\u00a0\u201cthe people are in danger.\u201d And then, as our\u00a0compa\u00f1eras<\/em> in Russia say, \u201cAs t<\/em>he Russian bombs, rockets, and bullets fly towards the Ukrainians, no one asks them about their political opinions or what language they speak.\u201d <\/em>Only the \u00abnationality\u00bb of one side or the other will be different.<\/p>\n

Third: Big capital and its \u201cWestern\u201d governments sat down to contemplate and even to accelerate the deterioration of the situation. Once the invasion had begun they were anxious to see whether Ukraine would resist and to calculate what they could get out of each possible outcome.\u00a0Now that Ukraine is resisting they eagerly extend offers of \u201chelp\u201d for which they will expect payment later.\u00a0Putin is not the only one surprised by the Ukrainian resistance.<\/p>\n

The winners in this war are the large weapons manufacturers and big capital, who see the opportunity to conquer, destroy, and rebuild territories, that is, to create new markets for commodities and for consumption\u2013of people.<\/p>\n

Fourth: Instead of relying on what is being disseminated by both sides in the media and on social media which they call \u201cnews\u201d or to the \u201canalyses\u201d made by the sudden proliferation of experts in geography and those nostalgic for the Warsaw Pact and NATO, we decided to look for and ask those who, like us, insist on the fight for life in Ukraine and Russia.<\/p>\n

After several attempts, the Sixth Zapatista Commission managed to contact our allies in resistance and rebellion in the geographies called Russia and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Fifth: In short, our friends there, who raise the anarchist flag of freedom, stand firm: there are those in Donbas in Ukraine in resistance, and those who walk and work the streets and fields of Russia in rebellion. There are people in Russia who have been arrested and beaten up for protesting the war. There are people in Ukraine who have been murdered by the Russian army.<\/p>\n

This unites them amongst themselves as well as with us, not just in saying NO to war, but also in the refusal to \u201calign themselves\u201d with governments that oppress their own people.<\/p>\n

In the midst of the confusion and chaos on both sides, they remain firm in their convictions: their fight for freedom, their repudiation of borders and their Nation-States, and their respective oppressions that only differ in the color of their flags.<\/p>\n

Our duty is to support them to the best of our ability. A word, an image, a tune, a dance, a raised fist, or a hug that even from distant geographies provide support that will lift their hearts.<\/p>\n

To resist is to persevere and to prevail. We should support these allies in their resistance, which is to say in their fight for life. We owe it to them and they owe it to us.<\/p>\n

Sixth: Therefore, we call on the national and international Sixth, those who haven\u2019t already, to protest, according to their calendars, geographies, and modes, against the war and in support of the Ukrainian and Russian peoples who fight in their geographies for a world of freedom.<\/p>\n

Additionally, we call for financial support for the resistance in Ukraine, to be sent to the accounts that they will share with us in due time.<\/p>\n

For its part, the EZLN\u2019s Sixth Commission is doing its part to send a little aid to those in Russia and Ukraine who resist the war. We have also initiated contact with our allies in SLUMIL K\u00b4AJXEMK\u00b4OP[i]<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to create a shared support fund for those resisting in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

With no false pretenses, we shout and call on others to shout and demand: Russian Army out of Ukraine!<\/p>\n
