(Hasta pronto Portugal, ah\u00ed vamos Galicia)[:en]The Zapatista Passport (See you soon, Portugal; Galicia, here we come)[:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[:es]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>El Pasaporte Zapatista.<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>(Hasta pronto Portugal, ah\u00ed vamos Galicia).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Junio del 2021.<\/p>\n<p>El 12 de junio del 2021, el llamado \u201cEscuadr\u00f3n 421\u201d, y dem\u00e1s pasajeros y tripulaci\u00f3n, recibieron en sus pasaportes el sello de entrada legal al llamado espacio o zona <strong><em>Schengen<\/em><\/strong> y desembarcaron en Horta, Islas Azores, Portugal, Europa.\u00a0 Sin perder la gracia y la elegancia (es un decir), bajaron de La Monta\u00f1a.\u00a0 Como debe de ser, hubo azoro, baile, fotos y un atrac\u00f3n de comida.\u00a0 <em>Marijose<\/em> se encontr\u00f3 con una vieja profec\u00eda que anunciaba su llegada.\u00a0 Y se realiz\u00f3 una carrera (es un decir), tipo \u201c<em>el que llegue al \u00faltimo paga la comida<\/em>\u201d (Diego Osorno perdi\u00f3).\u00a0 Se brind\u00f3 por la vida, claro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>-*-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A las 09:17:45 del 14 de junio del a\u00f1o en curso, La Monta\u00f1a se despeg\u00f3 del abrazo portugu\u00e9s y tom\u00f3 direcci\u00f3n noreste a una velocidad de entre 6 y 7 nudos.\u00a0 A las 12:30:06 rebas\u00f3 por la izquierda el \u201cPico Das Urzes\u201d.\u00a0 Latitud: 38.805213; longitud: -28.343418.\u00a0 El capit\u00e1n Ludwig calcula avistar las costas de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, entre el 19 y el 20 de junio (aunque podr\u00eda ser antes, porque La Monta\u00f1a, reconciliada con el viento, parece apresurada en abrazar a sus hermanas portuguesas y gallegas). \u00a0De esa fecha en adelante, se saludar\u00e1n las elevaciones en las islas de San Martino, Monte Faro y Monte Agudo.\u00a0 Luego se entrar\u00e1 a la \u201cR\u00eda de Vigo\u201d.\u00a0 Se prev\u00e9 llegar a la <em>Marina Punta Lagoa<\/em>, al norte del puerto de Vigo, Galicia, Estado Espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces, en silencio, lluvia hermana ser\u00e1 la monta\u00f1a nuestra, h\u00fameda se tornar\u00e1 nuestra mirada, y as\u00ed diremos sin palabras:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c(\u2026)<br \/>\n<\/em><em>desperta do teu sono<br \/>\n<\/em><em>fogar de Breog\u00e1n.<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Os bos e xenerosos<br \/>\n<\/em><em>a nosa voz entenden<br \/>\n<\/em><em>e con arroubo atenden<br \/>\n<\/em><em>o noso ronco son,<br \/>\n<\/em><em>mais s\u00f3o os i\u00f1orantes<br \/>\n<\/em><em>e f\u00e9ridos e duros,<br \/>\n<\/em><em>imb\u00e9ciles e escuros<br \/>\n<\/em><em>non nos entenden, non.*<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fragmento de \u201cOs Pinos\u201d, Himno de Galicia. Y el letrero: \u201cpasaporte zapatista de trabajo\u201d.\u00a0En la contra portada o tapa trasera: una estrella roja con un caracol dentro.<\/p>\n<p>En la primera p\u00e1gina se lee: \u201c<em>Este pasaporte es otorgado por las autoridades civiles aut\u00f3nomas de los Municipios Aut\u00f3nomos Rebeldes Zapatistas y las Juntas de Buen Gobierno, Chiapas, M\u00e9xico.\u00a0 S\u00f3lo es v\u00e1lido durante el per\u00edodo establecido y en el lugar descrito.\u00a0 Este documento consta de 32 p\u00e1ginas y no es v\u00e1lido si presenta deterioro, cortes, tachaduras y enmiendas<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En las p\u00e1ginas 2 y 3 hay espacios para: foto del titular, sus datos personales, datos de la Junta de Buen Gobierno y MAREZ que expiden el documento.\u00a0 Trabajo que va a desempe\u00f1ar.\u00a0 La fecha de expedici\u00f3n y el calendario y geograf\u00eda donde va a cumplir el trabajo.\u00a0 Lugar para sello de MAREZ y de JBG.<\/p>\n<p>En las p\u00e1ginas 4 y 5. Gracefully and without losing their composure (so to speak), they debarked from <em>La Monta\u00f1a<\/em> [the Mountain]. As it should be, there was a frenzy of dancing, photos, and feasting. <em>Marijose<\/em> discovered an old prophecy that predicted their arrival. And they played that so-called \u201cgame\u201d of the kind where \u201clast one off pays for the food\u201d (Diego Osorno lost). There was a toast to life, of course.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>-*-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At 9:17:45am on June 14<sup>th<\/sup> of the current year, <em>La Monta\u00f1a<\/em> pulled away from the Portuguese embrace and turned to the northeast at a speed of between 6 and 7 knots. At 12:30:06pm, the ship passed \u201cPico das Urzes\u201d on the left. Latitude: 38.805213; longitude: -28.343418. Captain Ludwig planned to catch sight of the coast of the Iberian Peninsula somewhere around June 19th or 20th (although it could be sooner, as <em>La Monta\u00f1a<\/em>, having reconciled with the wind, seemed eager to embrace her Portuguese and Galician sisters). The <em>compa\u00f1er@s<\/em> carry a Zapatista passport. Valid only during the stated time and in the specified place. This document consists of 32 pages and is not valid if presented with any damage, tears, erasures, or amendments.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On pages 2 and 3 there are spaces for: passport holder\u2019s photo, their personal information, information on the Good Government Council and MAREZ that issued the document, the work the passport holder is going to do, the date of the expedition and the calendar and geography where they are going to complete the work, and a place for the stamp from the MAREZ and JBG.<\/p>\n<p>Pages 4 and 5 set the following 7 restrictions:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c1.-The [<em>el, loa, or la<\/em>] holder of this passport cannot and should not receive nor request support in currency or in kind for their own benefit or the benefit of their family, beyond the strict necessities required to complete the work entrusted to them.<\/p>\n<p>2.- The holder of this passport can only do the work specified in this document.<\/p>\n<p>3.- The holder of this document is prohibited from carrying or using firearms of any type, and may not, in the place where they do their work, propose, suggest, or encourage any activity that implies, or results in, the use of firearms.<\/p>\n<p>4.- The holder of this document can only tell our story of resistance and rebellion as original peoples and as Zapatistas after prior preparation and training to do so.<\/p>\n<p>5.- The holder of this document cannot establish agreements or disagreements in the name of the organizational structures and\/or the [EZLN] political-military leadership with people, groups, collectives, movements, and organizations, beyond what is strictly necessary to complete the work entrusted to them.<\/p>\n<p>6.- Personal opinions about public and private affairs expressed by the holder of this document not only do not reflect Zapatistas positions, but can also be completely contrary to our thought and practice.<\/p>\n<p>7.- The holder of this document must conduct themselves at all times with respect for the differences of identity, sex, creed, language, culture, and history of the people and places where they carry out the work for which they have been issued this document.<\/p>\n<p>Page 6 states: \u201cIt is asserted that the holder of this document completed a training course (what they learned or not remains to be seen in their actions) in _______ (space to fill in the name of the place).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Page 7 indicates the departure and arrival dates: \u201cThe holder of this document left Zapatista territory _____ (space to fill in details and stamps on half the page).\u201d The bottom half of the page: \u201cThe holder of this document returned to the Zapatista territory: _____ (space to fill in details and stamps).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The subsequent pages are blank, so that the different people, groups, collectives, organizations, and movements from the distinct corners of the various worlds that they visit can stamp, sign, adorn, fingerprint, draw on, scribble on, or whatever so that the <em>compa<\/em> has a kind of guide of as to where they were, in addition to the notes in their journal, when they return and talk about how it went.<\/p>\n<p>The last page is for \u201cObservations:\u201d (for example any allergy, disability, or musical preference \u2013 I mean, because if someone likes <em>cumbia<\/em> and they make them dance a waltz, well you can imagine).<\/p>\n<p>I bear witness.<\/p>\n<p>SupGaleano<\/p>\n<p>Planet Earth, June 2021.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"vimeo-player\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/562926264\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Music \u201c<em>El lago de los Cisnes<\/em>,\u201d by Cesar Acu\u00f1a Lecca and Los Pasteles Verdes \/ Sonidero version: Heriberto Destructor[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[:es] El Pasaporte Zapatista.
