\nA LA SEXTA NACIONAL E INTERNACIONAL,
\nA LAS REDES DE APOYO AL CIG,
\nA LOS MEDIOS DE COMUNICACI\u00d3N.<\/p>\n

El capitalismo, desde su nacimento, es un sistema econ\u00f3mico mundial contrario a la vida humana y contrario a nuestra madre tierra, pues, en su l\u00f3gica de acumulaci\u00f3n y de ganancia, \u00fanicamente puede reproducirse mediante la explotaci\u00f3n cada vez mayor del trabajo humano y el despojo permanente de las tierras y los territorios de los pueblos del mundo entero, principalmente de los pueblos originarios.<\/p>\n

El capitalismo, en su actual etapa neoliberal, asume formas cada vez m\u00e1s monstruosas, declarando una franca guerra en contra de la humanidad y en contra de la tierra, nuestra madre. El actual desarrollo econ\u00f3mico, basado a escala planetaria en la prominencia del capital financiero que domina pueblos, naciones y continentes enteros; apoyado en la gran industria militar y extractivista; creci\u00e9ndose mediante guerras reales o ficticias, la profusi\u00f3n del crimen organizado, as\u00ed como invasiones y golpes de estado, est\u00e1 llevando, en su insaciable l\u00f3gica de la acumulaci\u00f3n y el consumo capitalistas, a un l\u00edmite que pone en peligro las condiciones de la vida humana en el planeta.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el actual sistema, con su organizaci\u00f3n patriarcal heredada de sistemas y civilizaciones anteriores, pero, profundizada en los \u00faltimos siglos, se exhibe como un violento enemigo, no s\u00f3lo de la humanidad, sino particularmente de las mujeres y de nuestra madre tierra. Es decir, la explotaci\u00f3n y la profunda violencia estructural hacia las mujeres es propia del capitalismo aunque naci\u00f3 mucho antes; la propiedad privada capitalista, base de este sistema, no puede explicarse ni entenderse sino como parte de un sistema patriarcal de dominaci\u00f3n sobre las mujeres y sobre la tierra.<\/p>\n

M\u00e9xico y los restantes pa\u00edses del mundo son dominados por esto que llamamos capitalismo y ni los pa\u00edses que se dicen con gobiernos de izquierda o progresistas escapan a ello, pues, la humanidad avanza al abismo con este sistema destructivo. Por ello se vuelve urgente la defensa de la vida humana, la defensa de los territorios de nuestros pueblos y la defensa de la tierra en una perspectiva claramente anticapitalista y antipatriarcal.<\/p>\n

Y como parte de esa inmensa tarea es que:<\/p>\n

A celebrarse los d\u00edas 21 y 22 de diciembre del 2019 en el Car\u00e1col JACINTO CANEK (CIDECI de San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, M\u00e9xico)<\/p>\n

De acuerdo a los siguientes ejes de discusi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n

  1. Devastaci\u00f3n ambiental y destrucci\u00f3n de la madre tierra en el capitalismo actual: Un diagn\u00f3stico.<\/li>\n
  2. Despojo del territorio ind\u00edgena, campesino y urbano, despojo de los bienes comunes, guerras de ocupaci\u00f3n, extractivismo y crimen organizado: las crecientes agresiones.<\/li>\n
  3. Capitalismo y patriarcado: Violencia estructural contra las mujeres y la madre tierra.<\/li>\n
  4. Construcci\u00f3n de alternativas anticapitalistas y antipatriarcales: nuestra lucha es por la vida.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Capitalism is a world economic system which has, since its birth, operated against human life and our mother earth. Its logic of accumulation and profit can only be reproduced through the ever-increasing exploitation of human labor and permanent dispossession of the land and territory of all of the peoples of the world, especially originary peoples.<\/p>\n

    In its current neoliberal phase, capitalism takes on ever more monstrous forms, declaring open war against humanity and the earth, our mother. Its current economic model is based on the global reach and dominance of financial capital over peoples, nations, and entire continents. Sustained by massive military and extractivist industries, this system\u2019s insatiable logic of capitalist accumulation and consumption is fueled through real or fictitious wars, the proliferation of organized crime, as well as foreign invasions and coup d\u2019\u00e9tats, putting the very conditions for human existence on the planet at risk.<\/p>\n

    Furthermore, the current system has intensified the patriarchal organization it inherited from previous systems and civilizations, becoming a violent enemy not only of humanity in general but of women and our mother earth in particular. That is, the exploitation of and deep structural violence against women are characteristic of capitalism, although they were born before it. Private property, the basis of the capitalist system, can\u2019t be understood or explained except as part of a patriarchal system of domination over women and the earth.<\/p>\n

    The capitalist system dominates Mexico and all other countries of the world, and not even those governments which proclaim themselves to be leftist or progressive can escape the reality of a destructive system which is driving humanity toward the abyss. Thus a clearly anticapitalist and antipatriarchal defense of human life, of the territories of our peoples, and of the earth are urgent.<\/p>\n

    As part of this immense task, we invite you to a:<\/p>\n

    Forum in Defense of Territory and Mother Earth<\/strong><\/p>\n

    To be held December 21-22, 2019, in the Caracol<\/em> JACINTO CANEK (CIDECI in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico), centered on the following discussion topics:<\/p>\n

    1. A Diagnostic: Environmental Devastation and the destruction of mother earth under contemporary capitalism<\/li>\n
    2. Increasing Aggressions: The dispossesion of indigenous, rural, and urban territories; the dispossesion of common resources; wars of occupation; extractivism; and organized crime<\/li>\n
    3. Capitalism and Patriarchy: Structural violence against women and mother earth<\/li>\n
    4. Our Struggle for Life: The construction of anticapitalist and antipatriarchal alternatives<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
