COMUNICADO DEL CNI-CIG Y EL EZLN ANTE LA VIOLENCIA DESATADA CONTRA LOS PUEBLOS ORIGINARIOS<\/h3>\n

A los pueblos del mundo
\nA las redes de apoyo al CIG

\nA los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n<\/p>\n

El paso del capitalismo neoliberal est\u00e1 marcando sus pasos con la sangre de nuestros pueblos, donde la guerra arrecia porque no cedemos nuestra tierra, cultura, nuestra paz y organizaci\u00f3n colectiva; porque no cedemos en nuestra resistencia ni nos resignamos a morirnos.<\/p>\n

Denunciamos el cobarde ataque perpetrado el pasado 31 de mayo a la comunidad ind\u00edgena nahua de Zacualpan, miembros del Congreso Nacional Ind\u00edgena en el municipio de Comala, Colima, en la que un narco paramilitar dispar\u00f3 armas de grueso calibre contra un grupo de j\u00f3venes, asesinando a uno de ellos y dejando gravemente heridos a tres m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Ante los graves hechos, hacemos responsable a los tres niveles del mal gobierno que permiten la operaci\u00f3n de estos grupos narco paramilitares en la regi\u00f3n, principalmente el director de seguridad p\u00fablica Javier Montes Garc\u00eda. Exigimos el pleno respeto a los usos y costumbres de la comunidad ind\u00edgena nahua de Zacualpan.<\/p>\n

Condenamos la agresi\u00f3n y destrucci\u00f3n ocurridos la madrugada del 31 de mayo en las localidades de Rebollero y Rio Minas, pertenecientes a la comunidad binizza de San Pablo Cuatro Venados en el municipio de Zachila, Oaxaca, a manos de un grupo armado, que con violencia destruyeron la casa de decenas de familias.<\/p>\n

Un numeroso grupo de personas lleg\u00f3 a la localidad disparando armas de grueso calibre y acompa\u00f1ados de maquinaria pesada, tras muchos disparos derribaron las casas, obligando a salir y refugiarse en el monte a las y los compa\u00f1er@s, entre los que se encontraban menores de edad.<\/p>\n

Derribaron 24 viviendas, quemaron ma\u00edz y otros granos almacenados como semillas para la siembra, quemaron las pertenencias personales de la comunidad como ropa y zapatos. Adem\u00e1s, se robaron ganado, plantas generadoras de energ\u00eda y bombas de agua.<\/p>\n

Condenamos la represi\u00f3n y despojo cometido en contra de nuestros compa\u00f1eros y compa\u00f1eras de la comunidad ind\u00edgena otom\u00ed residente en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico que de forma violenta, fueron desalojados por grupos de choque al servicio del mal gobierno y las empresas inmobiliarias, junto con cientos de granaderos al servicio de N\u00e9stor N\u00fa\u00f1ez, titular de la Alcald\u00eda de Cuauht\u00e9moc, el pasado 30 de mayo a las 11:00 horas en el campamento que manten\u00edan sobre la calle de Londres No. 7, Col. Ju\u00e1rez, desde donde la comunidad otom\u00ed mantiene campamentos temporales desde el sismo ocurrido el 19 de septiembre de 2017.<\/p>\n

Condenamos el cerco narco paramilitar que grupos criminales, solapados y apoyados por los tres niveles del mal gobierno y todos los partidos pol\u00edticos, mantienen en contra de las comunidades del Concejo Ind\u00edgena y Popular de Guerrero- Emiliano Zapata (CIPOG-EZ) en el municipio de Chilapa y Jos\u00e9 Joaqu\u00edn de Herrera, que con autonom\u00eda construyen la paz con su lucha.<\/p>\n

Hacemos un llamado a los pueblos de M\u00e9xico y el mundo a estar atentos y solidarios con la lucha de los pueblos de Guerrero, a romper el cerco que impone la violencia por la apropiaci\u00f3n capitalista de los territorios ind\u00edgenas, que limita el ingreso de alimentos y medicamentos. Llamamos a apoyar el acopio de v\u00edveres que ser\u00e1n destinados a las comunidades afectadas, y que recibir\u00e1 productos como ma\u00edz, arroz, frijol, chiles de lata, az\u00facar, sardina, at\u00fan, papel de ba\u00f1o, pa\u00f1ales y medicamentos, en el local de UNIOS, ubicado en la calle Dr. Carmona y Valle No. 32, colonia Doctores, en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

Reiteramos que nuestra madre tierra no est\u00e1 en venta al gran capital ni a nadie, nuestra existencia no se negocia y por lo tanto tampoco la resistencia de nuestros pueblos.<\/p>\n

Communique from the CNI-CIG and the EZLN in Response to the Recent Violence Against Originary Peoples<\/h3>\n

To the peoples of the world:

Neoliberal capitalism is marking its steps with the blood of our peoples as war is intensified against us wherever we refuse to cede our land, our culture, our peace and our collective organization, and because we refuse to give up our resistance or resign ourselves to dying off.<\/p>\n

We denounce the cowardly attack on May 31 against the indigenous Nahua community of Zacualpan, which is part of the CNI, in the municipality of Comala, Colima, where narco-paramilitaries fired high-caliber weapons at a group of young people, killing one and critically injuring three more.<\/p>\n

We hold all three levels of bad government responsible for this event, in particular the head of public security, Javier Montes Garc\u00eda, as it is the bad government that allows these narco-paramilitary groups to operate in the region. We demand full respect for the traditions and customs of the Nahua indigenous community of Zacualpan.<\/p>\n

We condemn the aggression and destruction carried out in the early morning hours of May 31 against the Rebollero and R\u00edo Minas communities, part of the Binizza community of San Pablo Cuatro Venados in the municipality of Zachila, Oaxaca. There, a group armed with high-caliber weapons and heavy equipment came in firing on the community, destroying dozens of homes and forcing the population, including children, to flee. In all, 24 homes were demolished in the attack and the communities\u2019 corn and other food supplies set on fire, including seeds saved for planting. The group also burned the families\u2019 personal items such as clothing and shoes and stole their livestock, power generators, and water pumps.<\/p>\n

We condemn the repression and displacement of our compa\u00f1eros and compa\u00f1eras of the Otom\u00ed indigenous community who have maintained a temporary encampment at #7 Londres Street in the Ju\u00e1rez neighborhood in Mexico City since the September 19, 2017 earthquake. At 11 am on May 30, they were violently evicted by shock troops sent by the bad government and real estate companies, working alongside hundreds of riot police at the service of N\u00e9stor N\u00fa\u00f1ez, mayor of the Cuauht\u00e9moc district.
\nWe condemn the narco-paramilitary siege sustained by criminal groups\u2014supported and protected by the bad government and all of the political parties\u2014against the communities of the Emiliano Zapata Popular Indigenous Council of Guerrero (CIPOG-EZ) in the municipalities of Chilapa and Jos\u00e9 Joaqu\u00edn de Herrera, who struggle peacefully to build their autonomy.<\/p>\n

We call on all the peoples of Mexico and the world to be attentive to and in solidarity with the struggle of the Guerrero communities and to break the violent siege against them which limits their access to food and medicine and is waged in the interests of the capitalist appropriation of indigenous territory. We urge support for the collection of provisions to be sent to the affected communities, including corn, rice, beans, canned chili peppers, sugar, sardines, tuna, toilet paper, diapers, and medicine, to be collected at the UNIOS headquarters in Mexico City, #32 Carmona y Valle Street, Colonia Doctores.<\/p>\n

We reiterate that our Mother Earth is not for sale to big capital or to anybody, that our existence is not up for negotiation and thus neither is the resistance of our peoples.<\/p>\n
