Nacional convoca al CONVERSATORIO (o semillero, seg\u00fan): \u201cMiradas, Escuchas y Palabras: \u00bfProhibido Pensar?\u201d<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>EJ\u00c9RCITO ZAPATISTA DE LIBERACI\u00d3N NACIONAL.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Comisi\u00f3n Sexta del EZLN.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>M\u00e9xico.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marzo del 2018.<\/p>\n<p>A las personas, grupos, colectivos y organizaciones que, en todo el mundo, entendieron e hicieron suya la iniciativa del Concejo Ind\u00edgena de Gobierno y su vocera:<\/p>\n<p>A la Sexta nacional e internacional:<\/p>\n<p>A quienes firmaron por la vocera del Concejo Ind\u00edgena de Gobierno:<\/p>\n<p>CONSIDERANDO QUE:<\/p>\n<p>Primero y \u00fanico:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>La Familia Feliz.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un poblado, o ciudad, o como se diga.\u00a0 Un lugar del mundo.\u00a0 Un muro.\u00a0 Pegado en la rugosa superficie del gran muro, un afiche, cartel, o como se diga.\u00a0 En la imagen, un hombre y una mujer sonr\u00eden frente a una mesa rebosante de comida variada.\u00a0 A un costado de la pareja, una ni\u00f1a sonriente; al otro costado, un ni\u00f1o mostrando su reluciente dentadura.\u00a0 Sobre de ellos, en letras grandes e intimidantes, se lee \u201c<strong><em>LA FAMILIA FELIZ<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.\u00a0 El cartel est\u00e1 ya viejo, con la p\u00e1tina del tiempo apagando los colores que, suponemos, alguna vez fueron brillantes y, s\u00ed, se podr\u00eda decir que felices.\u00a0 Algunas manos an\u00f3nimas han agregado, en papel, peque\u00f1os letreros: \u201c<em>La familia feliz es feliz s\u00f3lo con la bendici\u00f3n del divino<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>No a la familia homoparental, \u00a1mueran los maricas y las machorras!<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>La maternidad es lo que define a la mujer feliz<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>Se destapan ca\u00f1os.\u00a0 Presupuesto sin compromiso<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>Se renta casa feliz para familia feliz.\u00a0 Familias infelices, abst\u00e9nganse<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Al frente, por la acera al pie del muro, la gente transcurre de un lado a otro sin apenas prestarle atenci\u00f3n a la imagen opaca.\u00a0 De vez en cuando, alguna perece aplastada por un pedazo que cae del muro decr\u00e9pito.\u00a0 Cierto, cada vez con m\u00e1s frecuencia suceden esos derrumbes parciales.\u00a0 Gajos del muro se desprenden y aplastan a veces a una sola persona o a un peque\u00f1o grupo, a veces a comunidades enteras.\u00a0 La conmoci\u00f3n en la muchedumbre dura apenas unos instantes, y reanuda su camino bajo la mirada p\u00e1lida de la familia feliz.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Cat\u00e1strofes menores y mayores, eso no debe distraernos de lo esencial ahora: cada tanto de tiempo, el supremo hacedor de \u201cfamilias felices\u201d, anuncia la elecci\u00f3n, libre y democr\u00e1tica, del cuidador del afiche.\u00a0 Y precisamente ahora, el feliz calendario que, ahora se percata usted de ello, se puede ver detr\u00e1s de la familia feliz, marca que es el tiempo de elegir.\u00a0 En estas fechas, una febril actividad recorre al gent\u00edo que, sin detenerse, opina, discute y pelea por las distintas opciones que se ofrecen para cuidar el gigantesco cartel.<\/p>\n<p>Hay quien se\u00f1ala el peligro de que la impericia manifiesta de sus oponentes, ponga en riesgo la ya maltrecha imagen, s\u00edmbolo de identidad del poblado, ciudad, o como se diga.\u00a0 Una persona ofrece remozarlo y devolverle el brillo y el color que alguna vez tuvo (en realidad, nadie recuerda ese tiempo, as\u00ed que ni siquiera se puede asegurar que alguna vez existi\u00f3 \u2013claro, en el dado caso de que se le pueda atribuir existencia al tiempo-).\u00a0 Otra m\u00e1s dice que las administraciones anteriores han descuidado la imagen y a eso se debe su visible deterioro.<\/p>\n<p>Las distintas propuestas encienden las discusiones en los transe\u00fantes.\u00a0 Se cruzan acusaciones, calumnias, falacias, argumentos con la solidez de lo ef\u00edmero, condenas y sentencias apocal\u00edpticas.\u00a0 Se reflexiona sobre la importancia y trascendencia del momento, la necesidad de la participaci\u00f3n consciente.\u00a0 No en balde se ha luchado tantos a\u00f1os para poder elegir a quien cuide la feliz imagen de la familia feliz.<\/p>\n<p>Se forman bandos: all\u00e1 el de quienes insisten en una renovaci\u00f3n prudente; aquel otro insiste en el postulado cient\u00edfico de que \u201c<em>m\u00e1s vale malo por conocido, que bueno por conocer<\/em>\u201d; otro bando aglutina a quienes ofrecen probidad, buen gusto, modernidad.\u00a0 Unos y otros gritan: \u201c<em>\u00a1No pienses!, \u00a1Vota!<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 Una pancarta estorba el trasiego de la gente, en ella se lee \u201c<em>Cualquier llamado a razonar el voto, es un llamado a la abstenci\u00f3n.\u00a0 No es tiempo de pensar, sino de tomar partido<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Las discusiones no siempre son mesuradas.\u00a0 Es tan importante elegir al responsable de la imagen, que no pocas veces los bandos llegan a la violencia.<\/p>\n<p>Hay quien habla de cuantiosas cantidades de felicidad para quien resulte vencedor, pero, lejos de los intereses mundanos, en los rostros adustos de los contendientes se advierte la seriedad del asunto: es un deber hist\u00f3rico, el futuro est\u00e1 en la mano titubeante de quienes habr\u00e1n de elegir, es una grave responsabilidad pesando sobre los hombros de la gente; peso que, felizmente, ser\u00e1 aliviado cuando se sepa qui\u00e9n se alza con el triunfo, y vea de procurar felicidad a la feliz imagen de la familia feliz.<\/p>\n<p>Es tal el frenes\u00ed, que todos se olvidan por completo de la imagen retratada.\u00a0 Pero la familia feliz luce, en la soledad del muro, su perenne e in\u00fatil sonrisa.<\/p>\n<p>Al pie de la alargada y alta pared, una ni\u00f1a levanta la mano pidiendo hablar.\u00a0 Los bandos apenas si la notan, pero no falta quien diga: \u201c<em>pobrecita, es una ni\u00f1a y quiere hablar, dej\u00e9mosla<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 \u201c<em>No<\/em>\u201d, dice otro bando, \u201c<em>es un truco del bando contrario, es para dividir el voto, es un distractor para que no reparemos en la gravedad del momento, es un claro llamado a la abstenci\u00f3n<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 El bando de m\u00e1s all\u00e1, objeta: <em>\u201c\u00bfQu\u00e9 capacidad puede tener una ni\u00f1a para opinar siquiera sobre el cartel?\u00a0 Le faltan estudios, crecer, madurar<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 Y por aquel lado: \u201c<em>no vamos a perder el tiempo escuchando a una ni\u00f1a, debemos concentrarnos en lo importante: decidir qui\u00e9n es mejor para cuidar el cartel<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La \u201cComisi\u00f3n de Nitidez y Legitimidad para la Elecci\u00f3n del Encargado de Cuidar la Imagen de la Familia Feliz\u201d (CNLEECIFF, por sus siglas), emiti\u00f3 un serio y breve comunicado, acorde con la gravedad de los tiempos: \u201c<em>Las reglas son claras: NO SE ADMITEN NI\u00d1AS<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Nuevas reflexiones de los analistas especializados: \u201c<em>lo \u00fanico que logr\u00f3 la ni\u00f1a fue legitimar a la CNLEECIFF.\u00a0 Al pedir la palabra, la ni\u00f1a entr\u00f3 al juego y perdi\u00f3, lo dem\u00e1s son consuelos<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>El fracaso de la ni\u00f1a es s\u00edntoma del fracaso del proceso renovador, las instituciones deber\u00edan dejar que la ni\u00f1a hable<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>Fue conmovedora, ella con su manita levantada, pidiendo atenci\u00f3n, pobrecita<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>Fue un resultado adverso, producto de un an\u00e1lisis err\u00f3neo de la coyuntura, el contexto y la correlaci\u00f3n de fuerzas, eso se\u00f1ala la ausencia de una vanguardia revolucionaria que dirija a las masas<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>Etc\u00e9tera<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pero las discusiones apenas duraron unos minutos, y el ir y venir de pasos y sinrazones sigui\u00f3 su curso.\u00a0 No se escuch\u00f3 a la ni\u00f1a hablar, mientras se\u00f1alaba, no a la imagen, sino al muro sobre el que la familia feliz luc\u00eda su ya deteriorada placidez.<\/p>\n<p>Parada sobre uno de los escombros, rodeada de cad\u00e1veres de ni\u00f1as y de piedras desgajadas, la ni\u00f1a se\u00f1al\u00f3, lac\u00f3nica, lo evidente:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cSe va a caer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pero nadie escuch\u00f3\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Un momento\u2026 \u00bfnadie?<\/p>\n<p>(\u00bfContinuar\u00e1?\u2026)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>-*-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En base a lo anteriormente expuesto, la Comisi\u00f3n Sexta del EZLN convoca al:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">CONVERSATORIO (o semillero, seg\u00fan):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u201cMiradas, Escuchas y Palabras: \u00bfProhibido Pensar?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el que diversas personas del Congreso Nacional Ind\u00edgena, del Concejo Ind\u00edgena de Gobierno, de las artes, las ciencias, el activismo pol\u00edtico, el periodismo y la cultura, nos compartir\u00e1n lo que miran y escuchan.<\/p>\n<p>El conversatorio se llevar\u00e1 a cabo los d\u00edas del 15 al 25 de abril del 2018, en el CIDECI-Unitierra, San Crist\u00f3bal de Las Casas, Chiapas, M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>Han spokeswoman:<\/p>\n<p>CONSIDERING:<\/p>\n<p>First and only:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The Happy Family.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A town, or a city, or whatever it\u2019s called. A place in the world. A wall. Hung on the rough surface of the huge wall is a flyer, a poster, or whatever you call it. In the image, a man and woman smile in front of a table brimming with a wide variety of food. To the couple\u2019s right, a smiling girl; to their left, a boy grinning to display gleaming teeth. Above them in large and intimidating letters reads \u201c<em>THE HAPPY FAMILY<\/em>\u201d. The poster is old by now, time\u2019s march forward having muted the colors that, we assume, were once bright and, yes, happy. Anonymous hands have added small paper signs to the wall: \u201c<em>The happy family is happy only with God\u2019s blessing<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>No to gay parenting! Death to faggots and dykes!<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>Motherhood is what defines a happy woman<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>We unclog pipes: no-obligation estimates<\/em>\u201d; \u201c<em>Happy home available for rent to a happy family. Unhappy families need not apply<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em>Along the sidewalk that runs in front of the wall, people hurry from one place to another without paying any attention to the opaque image. Occasionally, someone is crushed to death under a huge chunk that falls off the decrepit wall. In fact, these partial rockslides are becoming more and more frequent. Loose pieces of the wall break off and crush sometimes one person, sometimes a small group, sometimes whole communities. The crowd is thrown into commotion only for an instant before resuming its trajectory under the pale gaze of the happy family.<\/p>\n<p>Catastrophes big or small, these should not distract us from what is most important now: every so often, the supreme maker of \u201chappy families\u201d announces the free and democratic election of who will preside over the poster.<a href=\"http:\/\/enlacezapatista.ezln.org.mx\/2018\/03\/26\/the-sixth-commission-of-the-zapatista-army-for-national-liberation-convokes-a-roundtable-discussion-or-seedbed-depending-on-who-you-ask-to-watch-to-listen-to-speak-no-thinking-allowed\/#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a> And precisely at this moment, you are just now noticing, a happy calendar that can be seen behind the happy family indicates that it\u2019s election season. Around this time, a feverish activity runs through the crowd that, without stopping, discusses, offers opinions and argues about the different options presenting themselves as potential stewards of the enormous poster.<\/p>\n<p>There are those who point out the danger posed to the image on the already battered poster\u2014the symbolic identity of the city or town or whatever\u2014by their opponents\u2019 obvious inexperience. One person offers to renovate the poster and return to it the brightness and color it once had (in reality, nobody remembers that time, so we can\u2019t be sure that it actually existed\u2014if, of course, we can in fact attribute existence to time). Someone else says that previous administrations have neglected the image, and that this is what has caused its visible deterioration.<\/p>\n<p>The different proposals ignite arguments among passers-by: accusations, insults, fallacies, arguments of a purely ephemeral base, condemnations and apocalyptic predictions fly back and forth. People reflect on the importance and transcendence of this moment, on the necessity of conscious participation. It wasn\u2019t for nothing that they struggled for so many years to be able to choose who presides over the happy image of the happy family.<\/p>\n<p>Factions are formed: on one side are those who insist on a sensible renovation; on the other are those who insist on the scientific postulate, \u201c<em>better the devil you know than the devil you don\u2019t<\/em>\u201d; another faction consists of those calling for proper behavior, good taste and modernity. A few here and there shout, \u201c<em>Don\u2019t think! Vote!<\/em>\u201d. A giant placard obstructs the flow of people; it reads \u201c<em>Any call to think rationally about voting is a call to abstention. This is not a time to think, it is time to take sides<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions are not always level-headed. The selection of the steward of the image is so important that many times the competing groups resort to violence.<\/p>\n<p>Some talk of the boundless happiness that accrues to whomever ends up the victor, but, far from mundane worldly interests, the severe faces of the contenders belie the seriousness of the matter: it\u2019s an historic task; the future is in the trembling hands of those who must choose; this most serious responsibility weighs heavily on the shoulders of the people. Happily, though, this weight will be lifted once the winner is known and sets him or herself to the task of procuring happiness for the happy image of the happy family.<\/p>\n<p>The frenzy is such that everyone forgets entirely about the image portrayed. But on the lonely wall, the happy family still displays its perennial and useless smile.<\/p>\n<p>t the foot of the long, high wall, a little girl raises her hand, asking to speak. The factions barely take notice, but someone finally says, \u201c<em>Poor little thing, she wants to talk, we should let her.<\/em>\u201d \u201c<em>No,<\/em>\u201d says another faction, \u201c<em>it\u2019s a trick from the opposition group, an attempt to divide the vote, a distraction designed to stop us from reflecting on the gravity of the moment, a clear call to abstention.<\/em>\u201d Another faction objects: \u201c<em>What capacity could a little girl have to even opine about the poster? She needs to study, grow, and mature.<\/em>\u201d And from another wing: \u201c<em>We\u2019re not going to waste time listening to a little girl. We should concentrate on what\u2019s important: deciding who is best suited to take care of the poster.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCommission on Transparency and Legitimacy for the Election of the Person in Charge of Stewarding the Image of the Happy Family\u201d (abbreviated CTLEPCSIHF) released a brief and serious memo, in accordance with the gravity of the times: \u201c<em>The rules are clear: NO LITTLE GIRLS ALLOWED.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Specialized analysts publish new reflections: \u201c<em>The only thing the little girl achieved was the legitimization of the CTLEPCSIHF. surrounded by the cadavers of little girls and broken stones, she stated, flatly, the obvious:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s going to fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But no one listened\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Just a
