Pero tambi\u00e9n sabemos que siempre que hace esto, el poder malhabido pierde, y nos da m\u00e1s ganas de liberarnos a nosotr@s mism@s y nuestr@s compas pres@s politic@s donde sea que est\u00e9n. O sea: nos surge\u00a0el valor de combatir.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy d\u00eda, nos hemos enterado de otro ejemplo de esta experiencia.<\/p>\n<p>En la ma\u00f1ana del martes, 12 de abril 2011, autoridades oficialistas\u00a0del ejido Monte Redondo llegaron a la propiedad ejidal del compa\u00f1ero\u00a0Patricio Dom\u00ednguez V\u00e1zquez, base de apoyo del Ej\u00e9rcito Zapatista de\u00a0Liberaci\u00f3n Nacional (EZLN), y empezaron a hostigar al compa\u00f1ero\u00a0Patricio, lo acusaron de cargos falsos, lo secuestraron y lo\u00a0encarcelaron injustamente. En una denuncia p\u00fablica reci\u00e9n difundida,\u00a0explica la Junta de Buen Gobierno \u201cHacia La Esperanza\u201d que despu\u00e9s\u00a0de haberlo encarcelado, un agente municipal llamado Hern\u00e1n de Le\u00f3n\u00a0Osorio:<\/p>\n<p>En la tarde de ese mismo d\u00eda, en una reuni\u00f3n encabezada por las\u00a0autoridades del ejido, se decidi\u00f3 quemar la casa del compa Patricio\u00a0Dom\u00ednguez V\u00e1zquez. A los dos d\u00edas siguientes el compa\u00f1ero Patricio\u00a0fue trasladado a dos c\u00e1rceles sin el permiso que tiene por ley de comunicarse con\u00a0sus familiares. Este acto de agresi\u00f3n no es aislado, sino que viene de una\u00a0serie de acciones violentas que han tenido a nuestro compa en la mira. Desde m\u00e1s de tres a\u00f1os, han acusado falsamente al compa\u00a0Patricio, y a otr@s ejidatari@s del Monte Redondo y de otros lugares, de delitos que no han cometido. Seg\u00fan su l\u00f3gica corrupta, aquellos delitos\u00a0que comete el mal gobierno junto a las autoridades falsas del ejido\u00a0diariamente, son culpa de las v\u00edctimas a las que s\u00f3lo quieren desalojar de su tierra. Como much@s herman@s que han afrontado la represi\u00f3n\u00a0estatal, su \u00fanico \u201cdelito&#8221; es defender su tierra y los recursos\u00a0naturales que, seg\u00fan el mal gobierno y los capitalistas\u00a0codiciosos, no son m\u00e1s que mercanc\u00eda para explotarse. Adem\u00e1s \u2013seg\u00fan su coraz\u00f3n retorcido\u2013 la gente que cuida y\u00a0defiende la tierra es s\u00f3lo un obst\u00e1culo al dinero y as\u00ed debe ser tratada.<\/p>\n<p>Es m\u00e1s, desde hace muchos a\u00f1os, nuestr@s herman@s zapatistas del\u00a0ejido Monte Redondo han experimentado en carne propia la represi\u00f3n\u00a0estatal y actos represivos del mal gobierno del PRD, PAN, PRI, PVEM.\u00a0 Como bases de apoyo zapatistas, ell@s han enfrentado las agresiones de\u00a0la colaboraci\u00f3n de algunas personas del dicho ejido que se han aliado\u00a0a los intereses inhumanos del mal gobierno mexicano, y cada partido\u00a0pol\u00edtico ha participado en esta represi\u00f3n indigna. Nosotr@s\u00a0responsabilizamos al gobernador de Chiapas, el perredista represor Juan Sabines Guerrero; al presidente panista represor Felipe Calder\u00f3n;\u00a0 a los c\u00f3mplices represores de \u00c1ngeles Daniel Z\u00fa\u00f1iga Ballinas del\u00a0ministerio p\u00fablico de Frontera Comalapa y sus lacayos del ejido Monte Redondo que son del PRD, PAN y\u00a0PVEM.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con las palabras de nuestr@s herman@s sobre el gobernador represor Juan Sabines Guerrero, recientemente\u00a0difundidas:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cqueda en su historia como la historia de su pap\u00e1 que mand\u00f3 a\u00a0reprimir en Wolonch\u00e1n o quiere hacer Juan Sabines como lo hizo en\u00a0Chincultik, e Hidalgo del municipio oficial de la Trinitaria Chiapas\u00a0por eso, pedimos la inmediata soluci\u00f3n de este problema ya que\u00a0nuestros compa\u00f1eros no tienen problemas con el ejido y no hay raz\u00f3n\u00a0de que est\u00e9n sufriendo estas agresiones, Pedimos que hagan justicia y\u00a0corrijan a las autoridades de Monte Redondo, la polic\u00eda, y a esta\u00a0persona \u00c1ngeles Daniel que trabaja en el ministerio p\u00fablico.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sabemos muy bien que el gobernador represor perredista Juan Sabines\u00a0Guerrero es uno de los principales responsables de tanta represi\u00f3n en contra de nuestras\u00a0hermanas y hermanos zapatistas, de nuestr@s hermanas y hermanos de San\u00a0Sebasti\u00e1n Bachaj\u00f3n y en contra de otr@s adherentes de La Otra\u00a0Campa\u00f1a en Chiapas que se organizan de forma aut\u00f3noma. Tambien sabemos\u00a0que es apoyado por el PRD, el PRI, el PAN, el PVEM y\u00a0el movimiento de AMLO.<\/p>\n<p>Ac\u00e1 en El Barrio de Nueva York, nosotr@s compartimos, como parte de\u00a0nuestra lucha local, el lema de dignidad de las Juntas de Buen Gobierno\u00a0zapatista, el cual dice que \u201cNosotros amamos la tierra, porque de\u00a0ella vivimos, la cuidamos, la trabajamos y la defendemos,\u201d a pesar de\u00a0que los de arriba lo tachan como un \u201cdelito\u201d. Respondiendo a la\u00a0impunidad, violencia, y represi\u00f3n, nosotr@s queremos hacer eco del \u201c\u00a1Ya Basta!\u201d de nuestras hermanas y hermanos zapatista\u00a0y\u00a0proponer lo siguiente:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Que el jueves 29 de abril, inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de los <strong>\u201c5 D\u00edas M\u00c1S de Acci\u00f3n Mundial por los 5 de Bachaj\u00f3n,\u201d<\/strong> junt@s\u00a0organicemos acciones para realizar el <strong>\u201cD\u00eda de Acci\u00f3n Global por la Liberaci\u00f3n del Preso Pol\u00edtico\u00a0Zapatista&#8221; <\/strong>para exigir la liberacion de nuestro compa<strong> <\/strong>Patricio Dom\u00ednguez V\u00e1zquez,\u00a0injustamente detenido.<\/li>\n<li>Proponemos que tod@s l@s que estar\u00e1n participando en la\u00a0Campa\u00f1a<strong> &#8220;5 D\u00edas M\u00c1S de Acci\u00f3n Mundial por los 5 de Bachaj\u00f3n\u201d<\/strong>, exijan tambi\u00e9n la liberaci\u00f3n inmediata de nuestro hermano zapatista\u00a0Patricio Dom\u00ednguez V\u00e1zquez. Tambi\u00e9n proponemos, a l@s que\u00a0participar\u00e1n en el d\u00eda de acci\u00f3n por la liberaci\u00f3n del compa\u00f1ero\u00a0zapatista Patricio, que tambi\u00e9n exigan la liberaci\u00f3n de los 5 presos\u00a0pol\u00edticos de Bachaj\u00f3n, adherentes a La Otra Campa\u00f1a.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Por favor dejenos saber si participaran en el <strong>\u201cD\u00eda de Acci\u00f3n Global por la Liberaci\u00f3n del Preso Pol\u00edtico\u00a0Zapatista&#8221;<\/strong>. We know very well that Power seeks to squash the peoples who exercise their rights to be autonomous by threatening them and imprisoning their dignified voices. But we know as well that each time it does this, it \u2013 the criminal and corrupt Power \u2013 loses, and fuels our desire to free our political prisoners, wherever they are, and to free ourselves. That is, the courage to fight rises up in us.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, we have learned of another example of this experience.<\/p>\n<p>During the morning of Friday, April 12, 2011, \u201cofficial\u201d authorities of the Monte Redondo ejido arrived at the ejido-designated property of the compa\u00f1ero Patricio Dom\u00edngez V\u00e1zquez, base supporter of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN), and began to harass Patricio: They charged him with false accusations, kidnapped him, and unjustly imprisoned him. In a recent public denouncement, the Junta de Buen Gobierno \u201cHacia La Esperanza\u201d explains that after imprisoning him, a municipal agent named Hern\u00e1n Le\u00f3n Osorio:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWent to bring Mr. Gilberto V\u00e1zquez Vel\u00e1squez, with his chainsaw, and these individuals went to cut down eight trees in the land of our compa\u00f1ero. Afterwards, they took the wood to the public field of the ejido and then went for the public minister of the Frontera Coma lapa to accuse our compa\u00f1ero of having cut down those eight trees, taking photographs of him. We have confirmed these actions, based on the fact that the compa\u00f1era Fidelina V\u00e1zquez, Zapatista base supporter, saw with her own eyes that it was them who were cutting down the trees.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In the afternoon of that same day, during a meeting spearheaded by the authorities of the ejido, the decision was made to burn down the house of Patricio Dom\u00ednguez V\u00e1zquez. During the two subsequent days, the compa\u00f1ero Patricio was transported to two other jails and was deprived of his legal right to contact his family members. This act of aggression is not isolated, but rather stems from a series of violent actions that have targeted our compa. For over three years now, they have falsely accused our compa Patricio, along with many others from Monte Redondo and elsewhere, of crimes that he has not committed. According to their corrupt logic, these are precisely the crimes that the bad government together with the false authoridities of the ejido are committing on a daily basis; it is the fault of the victims, who are being dispossess of their land. Like so many other sisters and brothers who have faced state repression, their only \u201ccrime\u201d is that of defending their land and  the natural resources, which in the eyes of the bad government and  greedy capitalists, are nothing more than commodities to be exploited.  Continuously, according to their twisted heart, the people who care  for and defend the land are, similarly, only an obstacle to profit and  must therefore be treated as such.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, for many years now, our Zapatista brothers and sisters  from the Monte Redondo ejido have experienced \u2013 in the flesh \u2013  state repression and the repressive actions of the bad government of  the PRD, PAN, PRI, PVEM. As Zapatista bases of support, they have  endure the aggressions arising from the collaboration of some ejido  members that have aligned themselves with the inhumane interests of  the bad government of Mexico, and each political party has  participated in this awful repression. We hold responsible for all of  this the following individuals: Juan Sabines Guerrero, the PRD Chiapas  governor and repressor; Felipe Calder\u00f3n, the PAN president and  repressor; and their accomplices, repressors \u00c1ngeles Daniel Z\u00fa\u00f1iga  Ballinas, from the public ministry of the Frontera Comalapa, and the  lackeys of the Monte Redondo ejido who are part of the PRD, PAN and  PVEM.<\/p>\n<p>In agreement with the recently published words of our sisters and  brothers, regarding the repressive governor Juan Sabines Guerrero:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cit is in his history, like the history of his father who engaged in  the repression of Wolonch\u00e1n, or Juan Sabines wants to do what he [his  father] did in Chincultik and Hidalgo of the official municipality of  La Trinitaria Chiapas. For this reason, we ask for the immediate  solution to this problem, given that our compa\u00f1eros do not have  problems with the ejido and there is no reason for them to be  suffering these aggressions. We ask that justice be done and that they  correct the authorities of Monte Redondo, the police, and this  individual \u00c1ngeles Daniel who works in the public ministry.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We know quite well that the repressor, PRD governor Juan Sabines  Guerrero is chiefly responsible for so much repression against our  Zapatista sisters and brothers, our sisters and brothers of San  Sebasti\u00e1n Bachaj\u00f3n and against all the other adherents of The Other  Campaign in Chiapas who organize autonomously. We know, as well, that  he is supported by the PRD, PRI, PAN, PVEM, and the \u201cAMLO movement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over here in El Barrio, NYC, as part of our local struggle, we share  in the conviction of the Zapatista Juntas de Buen Gobierno, which  posits: \u201cWe love the land and because we survive off it, we care for  it, we work on it, and we must defend it\u201d \u2013 despite the fact that  those from above will call it a \u201ccrime.\u201d In response to the  impunity, violence, and repression, we  want to make the \u201c\u00a1Ya  Basta!\u201d (Enough already!) of our Zapatista brothers and sisters echo  across the land, and to propose the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>That on Thursday, April 29, immediately after the \u201c5 MORE Days of  Worldwide Action for the Bachaj\u00f3n 5,\u201d we organize actions to realize  the \u201cGlobal Day of Action for the Liberation of the Zapatista  Political Prisoner\u201d in order to demand the release of our unjustly  detained compa Patricio Dom\u00ednguez V\u00e1zquez.<\/li>\n<li>We propose that everyone who will be participating in the \u201c5 MORE  Days of Worldwide Action for the Bachaj\u00f3n 5\u201d campaign also demand  the immediate release of our Zapatista brother, Patricio Dom\u00ednguez  V\u00e1zquez.
