IND\u00cdGENA MAR\u00cdA DE JES\u00daS PATRICIO MART\u00cdNEZ, A LA PRESIDENCIA DE LA REP\u00daBLICA MEXICANA 2018-2024.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Agosto del 2017.<\/p>\n Al Pueblo de M\u00e9xico: Hermanas, hermanos, hermanoas<\/em><\/strong>: Los barrios, tribus, naciones y pueblos originarios agrupados en el Congreso Nacional Ind\u00edgena, y las comunidades ind\u00edgenas zapatistas, saludan el logro de un paso m\u00e1s en el largo camino para conseguir que el nombre de la vocera del Concejo Ind\u00edgena de Gobierno, la compa\u00f1era ind\u00edgena nahua Mar\u00eda de Jes\u00fas Patricio Mart\u00ednez, aparezca en las boletas electorales del 2018 como candidata a la presidencia de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n Este paso legal ha sido posible gracias al generoso o\u00eddo, la respetuosa mirada y la palabra amiga de mujeres y hombres que se han ganado, con su historia y esfuerzos propios, un lugar especial no s\u00f3lo en M\u00e9xico y en el mundo, tambi\u00e9n y, sobre todo, en el registro de la candidatura de quien, con cari\u00f1o y respeto, llamamos \u201cMarichuy<\/em>\u201d, para que, por primera vez en la historia de este pa\u00eds, una mujer de pueblo originario, to register the candidacy of the spokesperson of the CIG [Indigenous Governing Council], the indigenous woman Mar\u00eda de Jes\u00fas Patricio Mart\u00ednez, for the presidency of the Mexican Republic 2018-2024.<\/p>\n August, 2017<\/p>\n To the People of Mexico: Compa\u00f1eras, compa\u00f1eros, and compa\u00f1eroas:<\/p>\n The originary barrios, tribes, nations, and peoples gathered in the National Indigenous Congress and the indigenous Zapatista communities salute this next step forward on the long road toward putting the name of our indigenous compa\u00f1era Mar\u00eda de Jes\u00fas Patricio Mart\u00ednez on the electoral ballot in 2018 as candidate for the Mexican presidency.<\/p>\n This legal step has been possible thanks to the generous ear, respectful gaze, and friendly word of women and men who have earned, through their own history and efforts, a special place not only in Mexico and in the world but also, and above all, in the heart that is the color of
