Los pueblos, naciones y tribus que somos el Congreso Nacional Ind\u00edgena enviamos un saludo fraterno y solidario a la Machi Francisca Lincolao Huircapan, del pueblo Mapuche, en Chile, presa desde el 30 marzo de 2016. Sabemos que la huelga de hambre que en su resistencia mantiene la compa\u00f1era Machi Francisca es por exigir la justicia que le ha negado el mal gobierno chileno, manteni\u00e9ndola secuestrada por el delito de aferrarse a defender los recursos naturales, los lugares sagrados y derechos culturales de su pueblo, esperando a que su salud se deteriore tanto que comprometa la vida de la compa\u00f1era, cuyo estado de salud es sumamente delicado.<\/p>\n

Denunciamos que mientras el gobierno chileno reprime a la Machi Francisca, protege descaradamente a capitalistas trasnacionales y caciques como el latifundista Alejandro Taldriz, su tala ilegal y la corrupci\u00f3n del estado que lo protege.<\/p>\n

El Congreso Nacional Ind\u00edgena y el EZLN exigimos<\/p>\n

    La liberaci\u00f3n inmediata de la compa\u00f1era Machi Francisca Lincolao Huircapan<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Que cese la represi\u00f3n contra el digno pueblo mapuche y sea revocada la Ley Antiterrorista que est\u00e1 dirigida a criminalizar la defensa territorial de los pueblos originarios chilenos con un enfoque racista y represivo.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Respeto absoluto al territorio Mapuche.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We peoples, nations, and tribes of the National Indigenous Congress send a fraternal greeting of solidarity to Machi Francisca Lincolao Huircapan, of the Mapuche People, in Chile, imprisoned since March 30, 2016. We know that compa\u00f1era Machi Francisca is on a hunger strike to demand the justice that the bad government of Chile has denied her by keeping her imprisoned for the crime of continuing to defend the natural resources, sacred places, and cultural rights of her people. They are letting her health deteriorate to the point that it threatens the life of the compa\u00f1era, whose state of health is summarily delicate.<\/p>\n

    We denounce the fact that while the Chilean government represses Machi Francisca, they blatantly protect transnational capitalists and bosses such as the landlord Alejandro Taldriz, with his illegal logging that the corrupt state works to protect.<\/p>\n

    The National Indigenous Congress and the EZLN demand:<\/p>\n

    1. The immediate release of compa\u00f1era Machi Francisca Lincolao Huircapan.<\/p>\n

    2. An end to the repression against the dignified Mapuche people and the revocation of the racist and repressive Anti-terrorist Law that is meant to criminalize the territorial defense of the Chilean Originary Peoples.<\/p>\n

    3. Absolute respect for the Mapuche territory.<\/p>\n
