EJ\u00c9RCITO ZAPATISTA DE LIBERACI\u00d3N NACIONAL.<\/strong> 16 de Agosto del 2015.<\/p>\n A la Sexta Nacional e Internacional: Una vez m\u00e1s se remarca que, de arriba, no vendr\u00e1n la verdad ni la justicia.<\/p>\n Nunca.<\/p>\n Jam\u00e1s.<\/p>\n De arriba s\u00f3lo hay que esperar simulaci\u00f3n, enga\u00f1o, impunidad, cinismo.<\/p>\n El criminal de arriba siempre tendr\u00e1 absoluci\u00f3n y recompensa.\u00a0 Porque quien lo juzga es el mismo que le paga.\u00a0 Son los mismo criminales y jueces.\u00a0 Son cabezas venenosas de la misma Hidra.<\/p>\n Y ahora tenemos un nuevo ejemplo:<\/p>\n Como zapatistas que somos, nos hemos dado cuenta de que, gordos y contentos, han regresado a sus casas en el poblado de La Realidad, dos de los autores intelectuales del asesinato del compa\u00f1ero maestro Galeano.\u00a0 Supuestamente estuvieron presos por el asesinato de nuestro maestro y compa\u00f1ero.\u00a0 Sabemos ya que han sido declarados inocentes del crimen por los mismos que los financiaron y apoyan: los gobiernos federal y estatal de Chiapas.\u00a0 El autodenominado \u201cjuez\u201d V\u00edctor Manuel Zepeda L\u00f3pez, del ramo penal de Comit\u00e1n de Dom\u00ednguez, Chiapas, el d\u00eda 12 de agosto de este a\u00f1o, sentenci\u00f3 que los se\u00f1ores Carmelino Rodr\u00edguez Jim\u00e9nez y Javier L\u00f3pez Rodr\u00edguez son inocentes, a pesar de que ellos y sus c\u00f3mplices de la CIOAC-Hist\u00f3rica saben que son culpables de organizar el crimen.\u00a0 No los \u00fanicos, pero tambi\u00e9n lo son.<\/p>\n A escondidas los llevaron de vuelta a La Realidad.\u00a0 Les dijeron que no se mostraran mucho y fueran discretos, pero la soberbia de quien se sabe impune frente a la justicia de arriba, les suelta la lengua.\u00a0 Ah\u00ed declaran, a quien quiera escucharlos, que no estuvieron presos, sino guardados en una casa donde recib\u00edan todas las atenciones y la felicitaciones del gobierno estatal de Manuel Velasco y de los l\u00edderes de la CIOAC-Hist\u00f3rica por el asesinato del maestro Galeano, y que les dijeron que ten\u00edan que esperar un tiempo para volver a su pueblo \u201cy seguir con lo que qued\u00f3 pendiente\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Zapatista Army for National Liberation August 16, 2015<\/p>\n To the National and International Sixth: It is once again made clear that truth and justice will never, ever come from above.<\/p>\n From above the only thing we can expect is pretense, deceit, impunity, and cynicism.<\/p>\n The criminal above will always receive absolution and reward, because the one who judges him is the same one who pays him. They are the same, criminals and judges. They are poisonous heads of the same Hydra.<\/p>\n Now we have a new example:<\/p>\n As Zapatistas, we have realized that the intellectual authors of the murder of the compa\u00f1ero and teacher Galeano have returned, fat and happy, to their homes in the village of La Realidad. They were supposedly being held prisoner for the murder of our teacher and compa\u00f1ero. We already know that they have been declared innocent of this crime by the same people who financed and supported them: the federal and Chiapas state governments. On August 12 of this year, the self-proclaimed \u201cjudge\u201d Victor Manuel Zepeda L\u00f3pez, of the criminal court in Comit\u00e1n de Dom\u00ednguez, Chiapas, declared that Mr. Carmelino Rodr\u00edguez Jim\u00e9nez and Mr. Javier L\u00f3pez Rodr\u00edguez are innocent, despite that fact that they and their accomplices in the CIOAC-Hist\u00f3rica know that they are guilty of organizing the crime. They aren\u2019t the only ones responsible, but they are guilty.<\/p>\n They were secretly brought back to La Realidad. They were told not to be out and about much and to be discreet, but the pridefulness of those who know they have impunity with regard to justice from above means that they have loose tongues. Thus they are declaring, to anyone who will listen, that they weren\u2019t prisoners at all, but rather staying at a house where they received plentiful attention and congratulations from the state government of Manuel Velasco and the leaders of the CIOAC-Hist\u00f3rica for the murder of the teacher Galeano. They were told that they would have to wait for a time before returning to their village \u201cto continue the work left pending.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ahora falta que salgan a declarar a su favor sus c\u00f3mplices: Pablo Salazar Mendeguch\u00eda, Luis H. \u00c1lvarez, Jaime Mart\u00ednez Veloz, Juan Sabines Guerrero, Manuel Velasco, Manuel Culebro Gordillo, Vicente Fox, Felipe Calder\u00f3n, Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto y Rosario Robles.\u00a0 Estas personas son algunas de quienes domaron a la CIOAC-Hist\u00f3rica y la convirtieron en lo que es ahora: una banda paramilitar \u00fatil para el acarreo de votos y para el asesinato de luchadores sociales.<\/p>\n Tambi\u00e9n falta que los periodistas\u00a0progres<\/em> los entrevisten y los presenten como v\u00edctimas del \u201cferoz\u201d Galeano (\u00e9l solo contra m\u00e1s de dos decenas de criminales\u00a0cioaquistas<\/em>), reediten la mentira de un enfrentamiento, publiquen sus fotos ama\u00f1adas, y cobren con la mano derecha el servicio prestado, veh\u00edculos con chofer incluidos, mientras en sus medios ensalzan el \u201cgran\u201d desarrollo del suroriental estado mexicano de Chiapas y, con la mano izquierda, celebran su \u201ccompromiso con las luchas sociales\u201d.<\/p>\n Pero\u2026<\/p>\n Como zapatistas que somos, miramos y escuchamos no s\u00f3lo nuestra rabia, nuestro coraje, nuestro odio hacia quienes all\u00e1 arriba se sienten due\u00f1os y se\u00f1ores de vidas y destinos, de tierras y subsuelos; y hacia quienes se venden, con sus movimientos y organizaciones, traicionando su historia y principios.<\/p>\n Como zapatistas que somos, tambi\u00e9n miramos y escuchamos otros dolores, otras rabias, otros odios.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos el dolor y la rabia, hechos reclamo en los familiares de miles de desaparecid@s y asesinad@s nacionales y migrantes.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la tenaz b\u00fasqueda de justicia de los familiares de los ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as asesinadas en la guarder\u00eda ABC en Sonora.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia que se hace digna y rebelde huelga de hambre de anarquistas pres@s en M\u00e9xico y en otras partes de mundo.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia en los pasos incansables de los familiares de los 47 ausentes de Ayotzinapa.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia en el pueblo hermano Nahua de Ostula, agredido por el ej\u00e9rcito.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia en el pueblo hermano \u00d1aht\u00f3 de San Francisco Xochicuautla por el despojo de sus bosques.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia del pueblo hermano Yaqui por los presos injustamente y por el robo descarado de su territorio.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia por la burla que es la investigaci\u00f3n por el asesinato de Olivia Alejandra Negrete Avil\u00e9s, Yesenia Atziry Quiroz Alfaro, Nadia Dominicque Vera P\u00e9rez, Mile Virginia Martin Gordillo y Rub\u00e9n Espinosa Becerril, en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia del magisterio democr\u00e1tico que resiste la guerra medi\u00e1tica, polic\u00edaca y militar que padecen por el delito de no rendirse.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la indignaci\u00f3n de quienes, en el norte revuelto y brutal, son atacados por el color de su piel y por ese color son sentenciados y condenados.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos la rabia y el dolor por las mujeres desaparecidas, asesinadas por el delito de ser mujeres; por l@s diferentes atacad@s porque el Poder no tolera lo que se sale de su estrecho pensamiento; por la ni\u00f1ez que es anulada sin que siquiera alcance una cifra en las estad\u00edsticas de la macroeconom\u00eda.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos que s\u00f3lo se reciben mentiras y burlas de quienes dicen administrar la justicia y en realidad s\u00f3lo administran la impunidad y fomentan el crimen.<\/p>\n Miramos y escuchamos en todas partes las mismas promesas de verdad y justicia, y las mismas mentiras.\u00a0 Ni siquiera cambian las palabras, como que ya tienen un escrito que leen, y mal, todos los de arriba.<\/p>\n Ya es el tiempo en que, cuando el de abajo pregunta por qu\u00e9 se le ataca, la respuesta del de arriba es \u201cpor ser quien eres<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n Porque en este mundo que dolemos, el criminal est\u00e1 libre y el justo est\u00e1 preso.\u00a0 Quien asesina es premiado y quien muere es calumniado.<\/p>\n Pero tambi\u00e9n miramos y escuchamos que cada vez son m\u00e1s las voces que desconf\u00edan, que no se dejan, que se rebelan.<\/p>\n Nosotras, nosotros, como zapatistas que somos, ni confiamos antes, ni confiamos ahora, ni confiaremos despu\u00e9s en los de arriba, cualquiera que sea el color de su bandera, cualquiera que sea el modo de su palabra, cualquiera que sea su raza.\u00a0 Si est\u00e1 arriba, lo est\u00e1 porque oprime a los de abajo.<\/p>\n No tiene palabra el de arriba, no tiene honor, no tiene verg\u00fcenza, no tiene dignidad.<\/p>\n De arriba, nunca, jam\u00e1s llegar\u00e1n la verdad y la justicia.<\/p>\n Tendremos que construirlas desde abajo.\u00a0 Entonces el criminal pagar\u00e1 hasta que quede cabal la cuenta.<\/p>\n Porque lo que arriba no saben es que cada crimen impune no hace sino enardecer el odio y la rabia.<\/p>\n Y cada injusticia cometida no hace sino abrir el camino para que esos odio y rabia se organicen.<\/p>\n Y en la balanza romana de nuestros dolores, pesaremos lo que nos deben.<\/p>\n Y pasaremos la cuenta\u2026 y la cobraremos.<\/p>\n Entonces tendremos, s\u00ed, la verdad y la justicia.\u00a0 No como una limosna de arriba, sino como una conquista de abajo.<\/p>\n La c\u00e1rcel ser\u00e1 entonces para los criminales y no para l@s just@s.<\/p>\n Y la vida, digna, justa y en paz, ser\u00e1 para tod@s.<\/p>\n Eso, s\u00f3lo eso.<\/p>\n Desde las monta\u00f1as del Sureste Mexicano.<\/p>\n Subcomandante Insurgente Mois\u00e9s.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Subcomandante Insurgente Galeano.<\/p>\n M\u00e9xico, agosto del 2015.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Now we only have to wait for the statements of support from their accomplices: Pablo Salazar Mendeguch\u00eda, Luis H. \u00c1lvarez, Jaime Mart\u00ednez Veloz, Juan Sabines Guerrero, Manuel Velasco, Manuel Culebro Gordillo, Vicente Fox, Felipe Calder\u00f3n, Enrique Pe\u00f1a Nieto, and Rosario Robles. These are some of the people who domesticated the CIOAC-Hist\u00f3rica and converted it into what it is today: a paramilitary group, useful for bringing in votes and for murdering those engaged in social struggle.<\/p>\n We can also expect the \u201cprogressive\u201d journalists to interview them and present them as victims of the \u201cfierce\u201d Galeano (he alone against more than two dozen criminal CIOAC members), reviving the lie of a \u201cconfrontation\u201d; to publish their tampered-with photos; to charge, with their right hand, for services rendered\u2014vehicles and drivers included\u2014while their press outlets praise the \u201cgreat\u201d development of the southeastern Mexican state of Chiapas; and to celebrate, with their left, their \u201ccommitment to social struggle.\u201d<\/p>\n But\u2026<\/p>\n As Zapatistas, we see and listen to not only our own rage, our fury, our hatred toward those above who consider themselves owners and masters of lives and destinies, of lands and subsoils, as well as toward those who sell out, through their movements and organizations, in betrayal of their own history and principles.<\/p>\n As Zapatistas we also see and listen to other pain, other rage, other hatred.<\/p>\n We see and hear the pain and the rage that have become the demands of the families of the thousands of murdered and disappeared citizens and migrants.<\/p>\n We see and hear the tenacious search for justice of the families of the children murdered in the ABC Daycare in Sonora.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage that became a dignified and rebellious hunger strike by the anarchist prisoners in Mexico and other parts of the world.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage in the tireless steps of the families of the 47 absent students from Ayotzinapa.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage of our Nahua brother community of Ostula, attacked by the army.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage of our \u00d1aht\u00f3 brother community of San Francisco Xochicuautla at the dispossession of their forests.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage of our Yaqui brother community for the unjust imprisonment of their members and the shameless theft of their territory.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage at the joke that is the investigation of the murders of Olivia Alejandra Negrete Avil\u00e9s, Yesenia Atziry Quiroz Alfaro, Nadia Dominicque Vera P\u00e9rez, Mile Virginia Martin Gordillo, and Rub\u00e9n Espinosa Becerril in Mexico City.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage of the democratic teachers union that resists the media, police, and military wars against them for the crime of not surrendering.<\/p>\n We see and hear the indignation of those who, in the turbid and brutal north, are attacked, sentenced, and condemned because of the color of their skin.<\/p>\n We see and hear the rage and pain expressed for the disappeared women, murdered for the crime of being woman; for all those who are attacked because Power cannot tolerate anything outside of its narrow thinking; for the childhood that is destroyed before it even has the chance to become a macroeconomic statistic.<\/p>\n We see and hear that all of these people receive only lies and mockery from those who proclaim to administer justice and who in reality only administer impunity and encourage crime.<\/p>\n We see and hear everywhere the same promises of truth and justice, and the same lies. They don\u2019t even bother to change the words; all those above already have a text that they read, and badly.<\/p>\n It is time that, when those below ask why they are being attacked, the answer from above is \u201cbecause of who you are.\u201d<\/p>\n Because in this world in which we hurt, the criminal is free and s\/he who is just is prisoner. The murderer is rewarded and the dead are slandered.<\/p>\n But we also see and hear that there are more and more voices that don\u2019t trust [those above], that don\u2019t let themselves [be manipulated], that rebel.<\/p>\n We as Zapatistas, women and men, did not trust those above before, nor do we now, nor will we ever, regardless of the color of their flag, regardless of their style of speech, regardless of their race. If one is above, it is because s\/he is oppressing those below.<\/p>\n Those above have no trustworthy word, no honor, no shame, no dignity.<\/p>\n Truth and justice will never, ever, come from above.<\/p>\n We will have to construct them from below. And the criminal will pay until the accounts are balanced.<\/p>\n Because what those above don\u2019t know is that every crime that remains in impunity further inflames hate and rage.<\/p>\n And every injustice committed only opens the path for this hate and rage to become organized.<\/p>\n And in the balance of our pain, we will weigh what is owed us.<\/p>\n And we will pass on the bill\u2026 and ensure that it is paid.<\/p>\n Then, in fact, we will have truth and justice.
