Desde el 26 de septiembre de 2014 M\u00e9xico se vio a s\u00ed mismo y el mundo nuevamente volte\u00f3 a ver una realidad ya inocultable que se hizo presente de la forma m\u00e1s terrible. Iguala es el lugar en el que el M\u00e9xico de dolor y muerte ya no pudo evadir su realidad, el lugar que ha llenado al mundo entero de indignaci\u00f3n, el lugar en el que el secreto a voces se convirti\u00f3 en un grito de dolor y rabia.<\/p>\n
43 estudiantes desaparecidos, tres estudiantes asesinados, dos j\u00f3venes deportistas asesinados, una mujer asesinada. Todos ellos asesinados y desaparecidos en Iguala, todos ellos asesinados y desaparecidos por el Estado. Todos ellos asesinados y desaparecidos por el pacto de impunidad de la clase pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n
Pero ahora resulta insuficiente hablar de impunidad porque las instituciones que deb\u00edan de ejercer justicia no solo no lo hacen sino que se protegen a s\u00ed mismas de sus propios delitos, en realidad estamos ante un sistema que siempre encuentra c\u00f3mo y a qui\u00e9n castigar de manera ejemplar y espectacular (culpable o inocente) para as\u00ed poder mantener intactos al gran negocio de la corrupci\u00f3n y a las brutales estructuras de poder que mantienen al pa\u00eds entero sumergido en la violencia.<\/p>\n

Since the 26th of September 2014 Mexico looked at itself and the world once again turned to see an unconcealable reality that made itself present in most terrible way. Iguala is the place in which the Mexico of pain and death became unable to evade its own reality, the place that has filled the entire world with indignation, the place in which an open secret became a cry of pain and rage.<\/p>\n
43 disappeared students, three murdered students, two young athletes murdered, one murdered woman. All of them murdered and disappeared in Iguala, all of them murdered and disappeared by the State. All of them murdered and disappeared by the pact of impunity of the political class.<\/p>\n
Although right now it seems insufficient to speak of impunity because the institutions that should enforce justice not only fail to do so but they protect themselves from their own crimes. In reality we are facing a system that always finds how and who to punish, in an exemplary and spectacular manner (guilty or innocent), in order to maintain intact the great business of corruption and the brutal power structures that keep the entire country submerged in violence.<\/p>\n
En M\u00e9xico el sistema no est\u00e1 corrupto, la corrupci\u00f3n es el sistema. No es que el Estado se est\u00e9 llenando de vac\u00edos, sino que esos que parecen vac\u00edos est\u00e1n llenos de la nueva mutaci\u00f3n del Estado Mexicano: el Narco-Estado. La pareja Abarca es una terrible muestra de la vinculaci\u00f3n entre gobierno y crimen organizado, pero lo m\u00e1s terrible es que no son la \u00fanica o la peor muestra de ello, son precisamente una muestra de lo que son ahora las instituciones en M\u00e9xico. Iguala, los muertos, los 43 estudiantes de Ayotzinapa son igualmente la terrible evidencia de que las acciones de este Narco-Estado no s\u00f3lo son de contrainsurgencia, no s\u00f3lo buscan la criminalizaci\u00f3n de la protesta, buscan el control a trav\u00e9s del terror, buscan el genocidio de la esperanza.<\/p>\n
En este M\u00e9xico quebrado, seguridad significa vivir aterrado rodeado de militares y polic\u00edas, vigilado constantemente. En este M\u00e9xico quebrado, los aparatos de derechos humanos se utilizan para asegurarse de que los verdaderos agresores evadan la justicia y puedan seguir agrediendo.<\/p>\n
En este M\u00e9xico quebrado, al ex\u2013alcalde de Iguala, Jos\u00e9 Luis Abarca, se le acusa de varios delitos, pero no del que implica reconocer la responsabilidad del Estado, el de desaparici\u00f3n forzada.<\/p>\n
En este M\u00e9xico quebrado, a Mar\u00eda de los \u00c1ngeles Pineda se le dan 40 d\u00edas de arraigo, y a Noem\u00ed Berumen Rodr\u00edguez, encubridora de la pareja acusada, la dejan en libertad, mientras quienes se oponen al sistema, quienes defienden la tierra, quienes exigen justicia, quienes se solidarizan con las familias de los 43 estudiantes desaparecidos por el Estado, quienes estallan de indignaci\u00f3n, son inmediatamente encarcelados.<\/p>\n
En este M\u00e9xico quebrado el poder se escandaliza cuando alguien quema una puerta de madera, pero para los cientos de miles de muertos, para los miles de desaparecidos, para los desplazados, solo hay montajes medi\u00e1ticos, largos procesos burocr\u00e1ticos y falsas condolencias, pero nunca justicia.<\/p>\n
El mensaje que hay detr\u00e1s de la forma en que hicieron todo en Iguala, detr\u00e1s de los miles de muertos y desaparecidos en todo M\u00e9xico, es que ninguna vida vale, que desde esas \u201cnuevas instituciones\u201d la muerte es la forma de gobernar.<\/p>\n
Por todo esto, despu\u00e9s de que el mundo ha esperado una respuesta acerca del paradero de los 43 normalistas desaparecidos a partir de una investigaci\u00f3n rigurosa, es indignante y doloroso que los encargados de hacerla no solo est\u00e9n mostrando incompetencia, sino una impresionante falta del m\u00e1s m\u00ednimo respeto a los familiares de las v\u00edctimas y a trav\u00e9s de ellos a la sociedad toda, porque su \u00fanica finalidad es la de desviar las investigaciones para ocultar la verdad.<\/p>\n
La indignaci\u00f3n ha ido creciendo, desbordando plazas, creciendo semana con semana. Las manifestaciones, las acciones, los paros, demuestran que pese a las mentiras, los montajes, las calumnias y las burlas por parte del \u201cGobierno Mexicano\u201d, siempre ausente cuando se trata de dar respuestas, el pueblo de M\u00e9xico y de otras partes del mundo, ha hecho suya la consigna de \u00a1Vivos se los llevaron, vivos los queremos! Se est\u00e1n dando pasos importantes en muchos lugares dentro y fuera de M\u00e9xico, en los que r\u00e1pidamente se ha pasado a los nuevos gritos que resuenan: #NoLesCreemos, #FueElEstado, #YaMeCanse, #AyotzinapaSomosTodos.<\/p>\n
En Iguala se hizo visible la l\u00f3gica pol\u00edtica que ha hecho que en nuestro pa\u00eds nos duelan m\u00e1s de 150 mil muertos y que sigamos esperando a los m\u00e1s de 20 mil desaparecidos.<\/p>\n
Hoy, nos sumamos a la rabia activa de los padres y madres de los estudiantes desaparecidos, hoy les decimos que estamos esperando a que los 43 regresen, no creemos la farsa con la que pretenden dar carpetazo a esta indignaci\u00f3n y rabia global. Ayotzinapa es el inicio de algo, que est\u00e1 creciendo en las aulas, en las calles.<\/p>\n
Estas \u00faltimas semanas se ha gestado un movimiento que tiene muy claro qui\u00e9nes son ellos, en este nuevo proceso se est\u00e1 perdiendo el miedo, se vuelve imposible quedarse como espectador y se abre la posibilidad de preguntarnos: \u00bfC\u00f3mo hacer para que esta energ\u00eda social logre abrir un camino que permita a la sociedad, desde abajo, imponerle al gobierno la verdad con todas sus consecuencias? \u00bfC\u00f3mo seguimos caminando en esta nueva etapa?<\/p>\n
Ayotzinapa no s\u00f3lo le duele a M\u00e9xico, le duele al mundo.<\/p>\n

It is not that the State is filling with vacuums, but that those that seem vacuums are actually filled with the new mutation of the Mexican State: the Narco-State. The Abarca couple is a terrible sample of the link between government and organized crime, but the terrible part is that they are neither the only nor the worst example of it; they are precisely an example of what the Mexican institutions have become. Iguala, the dead, the 43 students from Ayotzinapa are equally the terrible evidence that the actions of the Narco-State are not only those of counterinsurgency, not only do they seek the criminalization of protest, they seek control through terror, they seek the genocide of hope.<\/p>\n In this broken Mexico, security means to live in fear surrounded by soldiers and policemen, constantly under surveillance. In this broken Mexico, the human rights apparatuses are used to ensure that the real aggressors evade justice and are able to continue attacking.<\/p>\n In this broken Mexico, the former mayor of Iguala, Jos\u00e9 Luis Abarca, is accused of several crimes, but not of the one that implies recognizing the responsibility of the State, that of enforced disappearance.<\/p>\n In this broken Mexico, Mar\u00eda de los \u00c1ngeles Pineda is given 40 days of precautionary detention, and Nohem\u00ed Berumen, the accomplice that hid accused couple, is left free, while those who oppose the system, those who defend the land, those who demand justice, those who show their solidarity with the families of the 43 disappeared students, those who explode with indignation are immediately imprisoned.<\/p>\n In this broken Mexico the powerful are scandalized when someone burns a wooden door, but for the hundreds of thousands of dead, for the thousands of disappeared, for the displaced, there are only media montages, long bureaucratic processes and fake condolences, but never justice.<\/p>\n The message behind the way everything was done in Iguala, behind the thousands of dead and disappeared in Mexico is that no life is of any value, that from those \u201cnew institutions\u201d death is the way to govern.<\/p>\n For all this, after having the whole world expecting an answer in regard to the whereabouts of the 43 disappeared students out of a rigorous investigation, it is outrageous and painful that those in charge of doing it are not only displaying their incompetence, but also an impressive lack of the slightest respect for the victims\u2019 families and through them for society as a whole, because their only goal is to deviate the investigations, to hide the truth.<\/p>\n Outrage has been growing, overflowing the streets, growing week after week. The demonstrations, actions, strikes, come to show that despite the lies, the montages, the slander and mockery from the \u201cMexican government\u201d, always absent when it comes to giving answers, Mexico\u00b4s and the world\u00b4s people have made their own the motto: Alive they took them, alive we want them! Important steps are being taken in many places in Mexico and elsewhere, in which quickly new outcries resonate: #NoLesCreemos, #FueElEstado, #YaMeCanse, #AyotzinapaSomosTodos (#WeDontBelieveYou, #ItWastheState, #ImTired, #WeAllAreAyotzinapa).<\/p>\n Iguala made visible the political logic that has taken us to be in mourning for the more than 150 thousand dead and to keep waiting for the more than 20 thousand disappeared.<\/p>\n Today we join the active rage of the fathers and mothers of the disappeared students, today we tell them that we are waiting for the 43 to return, that we do not believe the farce with which they pretend to file this global outrage and rage. Ayotzinapa is the beginning of something that is growing in the classrooms, on the streets.<\/p>\n These past weeks have given birth to a movement that has very clear who they are, in this new process fear is being lost, it becomes impossible to remain a bystander and the possibility arises to ask ourselves: What can we do with this social energy to open a path that can allow society, from below, to impose the truth on the government with all of its consequences?
