In the gathering of our peoples in the Exchange between Zapatista Peoples and the National Indigenous Congress \u201cDavid Ru\u00edz Garcia,\u201d we shared with each other our pain as well as our words and experiences of struggle, rebellion, and resistance.<\/p>\n
Together we know that within our rebellions is our \u201cNO\u201d to the politics of destruction that capitalism carries out across the world. And we know that within our resistances are the seeds of the world that we want.<\/p>\n
These rebellions and resistances are not just those of the indigenous peoples of Mexico. They are also found in the footsteps of the originary peoples across the continent and in all corners of the earth where individuals, groups, collectives, and organizations not only say \u201cNO\u201d to destruction, but go about constructing something new.

En esta compartici\u00f3n que sabemos ha sido posible en gran medida gracias al apoyo de hermanos y hermanas de la Sexta nacional e internacional, confirmamos que nuestra madre tierra, dadora de toda la vida en el planeta, est\u00e1 en peligro y con ello la humanidad entera; vemos que es el capitalismo neoliberal el que provoca tanto dolor, tanta destrucci\u00f3n y tanta muerte, que es el que nos despoja, explota, desprecia y reprime.<\/p>\n
En la defensa de la madre tierra, en la lucha por la humanidad y contra el neoliberalismo, no hay lucha peque\u00f1a.<\/p>\n
Hermanos y hermanas de la Sexta nacional e internacional, porque sabemos que este capitalismo salvaje y de muerte no es invencible, como ya nos lo ense\u00f1an, adem\u00e1s de la experiencia zapatista, las rebeld\u00edas y resistencias que florecen en todo el planeta, y que sus dolores son nuestros dolores, y que sus luchas son nuestras luchas, y que sus sue\u00f1os son nuestros sue\u00f1os, queremos compartirnos con ustedes las palabras, las experiencias, los caminos y la decisi\u00f3n conjunta de que es posible un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos. Vamos concretando los pasos para lograr ese sue\u00f1o, es necesario compartirnos, saber qu\u00e9 pensamos, escucharnos para saber c\u00f3mo son nuestras luchas, para conocer nuestras rebeld\u00edas y aprender de nuestras resistencias.<\/p>\n

We see that it is neoliberal capitalism that has caused all of this pain, destruction, and death, and which has dispossessed, exploited, disrespected, and repressed us.<\/p>\n
In defense of mother earth and in the struggle for humanity and against neoliberalism, no struggle is small.<\/p>\n
Brothers and sisters of the National and International Sixth, we know that this savage and deathly capitalism is not invincible. We have learned this from the Zapatista experience and from the rebellions and resistances that bloom all over the planet whose pain is our pain, whose struggles are our struggles, and who dreams are our dreams. So we want to share with you the words, experiences, paths, and collective decision that a world where many worlds fit is possible. As we are concretizing the steps toward this dream, it is necessary to share with each other what we are thinking, to listen to each other in order to understand our struggles and our rebellions and learn from our forms of resistance.<\/p>\n

Andan tambi\u00e9n en los pasos de los pueblos originarios de todo el continente y en todos los rincones del planeta donde individu@s, grupos, colectivos y organizaciones no solo dicen \u201cNO\u201d a la destrucci\u00f3n, sino que tambi\u00e9n van reconstruyendo algo nuevo.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Saturday, 9 August 2014<\/p>\n LISTEN IN AUDIO HERE (Spanish):<\/strong> To the brothers and sisters of the National and International Sixth:<\/p>\n In the gathering of our peoples in the Exchange between Zapatista Peoples and the National Indigenous Congress \u201cDavid Ru\u00edz Garcia,\u201d we shared with each other our pain as well as our words and experiences of struggle, rebellion, and resistance.<\/p>\n Together we know that within our rebellions is our \u201cNO\u201d to the politics of destruction that capitalism carries out across the world. And we know that within our resistances are the seeds of the world that we want.<\/p>\n These rebellions and resistances are not just those of the indigenous peoples of Mexico. They are also found in the footsteps of the originary peoples across the continent and in all corners of the earth where individuals, groups, collectives, and organizations not only say \u201cNO\u201d to destruction, but go about constructing something new. En esta compartici\u00f3n que sabemos ha sido posible en gran medida gracias al apoyo de hermanos y hermanas de la Sexta nacional e internacional, confirmamos que nuestra madre tierra, dadora de toda la vida en el planeta, est\u00e1 en peligro y con ello la humanidad entera; vemos que es el capitalismo neoliberal el que provoca tanto dolor, tanta destrucci\u00f3n y tanta muerte, que es el que nos despoja, explota, desprecia y reprime.<\/p>\n En la defensa de la madre tierra, en la lucha por la humanidad y contra el neoliberalismo, no hay lucha peque\u00f1a.<\/p>\n Hermanos y hermanas de la Sexta nacional e internacional, porque sabemos que este capitalismo salvaje y de muerte no es invencible, como ya nos lo ense\u00f1an, adem\u00e1s de la experiencia zapatista, las rebeld\u00edas y resistencias que florecen en todo el planeta, y que sus dolores son nuestros dolores, y que sus luchas son nuestras luchas, y que sus sue\u00f1os son nuestros sue\u00f1os, queremos compartirnos con ustedes las palabras, las experiencias, los caminos y la decisi\u00f3n conjunta de que es posible un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos. We have learned this from the Zapatista experience and from the rebellions and resistances that bloom all over the planet whose pain is our pain, whose struggles are our struggles, and who dreams are our dreams. So we want to share with you the words, experiences, paths, and collective decision that a world where many worlds fit is possible.
