Buenos d\u00edas a todos, a todas.
\nBuenos d\u00edas hermanos, hermanas, abuelos, ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as y todos los compas que representamos este movimiento.<\/p>\n

Hace dos meses un sobrino, un hijo, vino a estas tierras en apoyo a nuestro hermano Galeano, desafortunadamente en su regreso sufre un accidente.<\/p>\n

\u00c9l, en su af\u00e1n de lucha por defender la justicia y el derecho de los ind\u00edgenas, estaba en este movimiento desde hace ocho a\u00f1os. Ten\u00eda muchas ganas de llegar a conocer todos los hermanos zapatistas, y por qu\u00e9 no decirlo, a estrechar la mano del Subcomandante Marcos. Fue su mayor ilusi\u00f3n. Lo cumpli\u00f3. Vino hasta La Realidad.<\/p>\n

Desafortunadamente el destino es as\u00ed. Hoy sin embargo, nosotros, sus hermanos, sus familiares, estamos nuevamente aqu\u00ed. No damos un paso atr\u00e1s porque David as\u00ed lo quiso.<\/p>\n

TWO SHORT CHRONICLES OF THE HOMAGE.<\/h4>\n

I. Words of compa\u00f1ero<\/em> Armando Garc\u00eda Salazar on behalf of the family and compa\u00f1eros<\/em> of the deceased compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David Ruiz Garc\u00eda. <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Good morning everyone.<\/p>\n

Good morning brothers, sisters, grandparents, children, and all of the compas<\/em> who represent this movement.<\/p>\n

Two months ago a nephew, a son, came to these lands in support of our brother Galeano. Unfortunately he suffered an accident upon his return.<\/p>\n

Out of eagerness to defend justice and indigenous rights, he had been part of this movement for eight years. He very much wanted to come meet the Zapatista brothers, and to be frank, shake the hand of Subcomandante Marcos. It was his greatest desire. And he fulfilled it. He came to La Realidad.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, destiny is like this. Today, despite this, we, his brothers and his relatives, are here again. We will not retreat; David would have wanted us to go forward.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00c9l, desde sus inicios en la lucha, se preguntaba por qu\u00e9 a unos pocos mucho y por qu\u00e9 a muchos poco. Nunca le pude contestar porque yo mismo no he entendido todav\u00eda. Sin embargo \u00e9l cre\u00eda que alg\u00fan d\u00eda esto iba a cambiar, y lo estamos haciendo.<\/p>\n

Todos los aqu\u00ed presentes traemos un objetivo. Todos los aqu\u00ed presentes traemos convicci\u00f3n y estamos haciendo lo que mucha gente ha hecho: levantar la voz, no dejarnos, reclamar lo que es nuestro y correr aqu\u00ed al que nos ha invadido.<\/p>\n

Ese fue uno de los objetivos de David, que yo humildemente vengo en comisi\u00f3n en este d\u00eda a hacer lo que por usos y costumbres tenemos en nuestra comunidad: venir a dejarle una cruz en el lugar de su accidente.<\/p>\n

Much\u00edsimas gracias hermanos zapatistas.<\/p>\n

David, en su primera visita a este bello estado lo dijo, \u2018he de llegar y he de hacer valer tambi\u00e9n la voz de nuestra tribu, de nuestro pueblo ind\u00edgena que es el otom\u00ed o h\u00f1ah\u00f1u\u00b4.<\/p>\n

Much\u00edsimas gracias por escucharme y por compartir nuestra experiencia en este lugar.

II.- DOS CR\u00d3NICAS<\/h3>\n

UNA\u2026<\/h4>\n

Se realiz\u00f3 la ceremonia que inici\u00f3 de la compartici\u00f3n con el CNI Y LOS ZAPATISTAS y ley\u00f3 el discurso el compa\u00f1ero comandante Tacho. Despu\u00e9s que termin\u00f3 todas las compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros que pasaron a formarse en el templete fuimos en el homenaje del compa\u00f1ero David Ruiz Garc\u00eda en el lugar del accidente.<\/p>\n

Uno de su familia del compa\u00f1ero David fallecido dijo que estaba programado para ir a dejarle una cruz.<\/p>\n

Salimos, fuimos caminando en dos columnas, un compa\u00f1ero estaba mostrando d\u00f3nde mero que se impact\u00f3 y hasta su fallecimiento el compa\u00f1ero David para ah\u00ed poner la cruz. Empez\u00f3 a limpiar la \u00e1rea el compa\u00f1ero sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s y el compa\u00f1ero comandante Tacho y otro compa\u00f1ero estaba haciendo un hoyo para ah\u00ed sembrar la cruz. Mientras las compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros los de CNI empezaron a quemar como tipo incienso, lo llevaban brasa con la copita y empezaron a rezar y cantar en sus formas de darle homenaje al compa\u00f1ero David luchador. Estaban con dolor del fallecimiento y al ver a las compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros es seguir en pie de lucha.<\/p>\n

Cantaron una canci\u00f3n se titula\u201d h\u00e9roes y m\u00e1rtires\u201d, y despu\u00e9s subieron en una subidita para ir a sembrar la cruz, ah\u00ed es puros pedregales y qued\u00f3 sembrada la cruz, con ramas de flores y un su velador. De nuevo rezaron, cantaron. Hubo viva: VIVE DAVID, VIVE GALEANO Y LA LUCHA SIGUE y aplausos. Uno de sus compa\u00f1eros de lucha del compa\u00f1ero David dijo el compa\u00f1ero David va a estar presente aqu\u00ed y en toda las luchas de nuestro pa\u00eds, y entregaron una manta que recibi\u00f3 el compa\u00f1ero sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s y tambi\u00e9n dio su palabra de que el compa\u00f1ero David viene con nosotros y va quedar con nosotros en territorio rebelde y lo bueno del compa\u00f1ero David supo donde entregar su vida por el \u00faltimo momento. Por \u00faltimo uno del CNI pidi\u00f3 que se acompa\u00f1e de cantar el himno zapatista y regresamos.<\/p>\n

OTRA\u2026<\/h4>\n

Compa\u00f1eros y compa\u00f1eros de hoy 4 de agosto del 2014. Hoy fue la inauguraci\u00f3n de los compa\u00f1eros del Congreso Nacional Ind\u00edgena.<\/p>\n

Primero dio su palabra el comandante Tacho. Terminando de su palabra del comandante Tacho, habl\u00f3 el compa\u00f1ero sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s y dijo que fu\u00e9ramos en donde fue el accidente del compa\u00f1ero David. Llegamos en donde fue el accidente y la familia del compa\u00f1ero David llevaban una cruz de fierro, y llevaban ramos de flores, y semillas como fr\u00edjol y ma\u00edz, y lo dejaron sembrado. Cantaron unas canciones para el compa\u00f1ero. La verdad la familia est\u00e1 muy doloroso pero a la vez se ponen fuerte que porque van a seguir el ejemplo del compa\u00f1ero David, que \u00e9l no muri\u00f3 por donde quiera, sino que muri\u00f3 en territorio zapatista. Despu\u00e9s de que termin\u00f3 todo, la familia entreg\u00f3 un paliacate y un bordado, le entreg\u00f3 al compa\u00f1ero sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s, y despu\u00e9s dio su palabra el compa\u00f1ero sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s, que el compa\u00f1ero David supo donde dio su vida, y que \u00e9l siempre estar\u00e1 con nosotros. Y entonces regresamos y seguimos con los trabajos.<\/p>\n

En la redacci\u00f3n y c\u00e1maras, informaron para Los Tercios Compas, la compa\u00f1era insurgenta de transmisiones Angelina y la compa\u00f1era insurgenta de infanter\u00eda Erika.<\/p>\n

Nota: \u201cLos Tercios Compas\u201d, como su nombre lo indica, no son medios, tampoco son libres, ni aut\u00f3nomos, ni alternativos, sino m\u00e1s bien como se llamen, pero son compas\u2026 creo. Es un colectivo disperso en calendario y geograf\u00eda, y ser\u00eda completamente an\u00f3nimo si no fuera porque a sus integrantes los delata su irreverente rebeld\u00eda. Son los mass media del EZLN y funcionan cada que pueden, que es muy a veces. Est\u00e1 formado por seres humanos y animales, aunque a veces no se diferencien un@s de otr@s. Incluye a quienes trabajan y revisan textos e im\u00e1genes, le hacen a lo de lo ciberespacio, quitan, ponen y, a veces con \u00e9xito, logran que se publique algo medianamente entendible. Su logotipo es un gato-perro poniendo el sello de agua donde se debe, es decir, abajo y a la izquierda. El registro en la Junta de Buen Gobierno sigue en tr\u00e1mite por raz\u00f3n de que tod@s est\u00e1n en la compartici\u00f3n. Se autoriza la reproducci\u00f3n sin fines poblacionales, la circulaci\u00f3n en sentido contrario y el consumo no consumista. Doy fe: miau\u2026 \u00bfo era guau?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/p>\n

Since he began to participate in the struggle, he would ask why there was so much for so few and so little for so many. I could never answer him because I haven\u2019t yet understood this either. He believed however that one day this would change, and that is what we are doing now.<\/p>\n

All of us present here come with an objective. All of us present here come with conviction, and we are doing what many people have done: raising our voices, not giving in, claiming what is ours, and running off those who have invaded us.<\/p>\n

This was one of David\u2019s objectives, and I come humbly here today to carry out the traditional custom of our community: to put a cross at the site of the accident.<\/p>\n

In his first visit to the beautiful state, David said, \u201cI must go and contribute the voice of our tribe, our indigenous people, the otom\u00ed or h\u00f1ah\u00f1u\u00b4.<\/p>\n

II. TWO CHRONICLES<\/strong><\/h3>\n

ONE\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The initial ceremony of the exchange between the CNI and THE ZAPATISTAS was held and compa\u00f1ero<\/em> comandante Tacho read a speech. Afterwards, all of the compa\u00f1eras<\/em> and compa\u00f1eros<\/em> present on stage went to pay homage to the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David Ruiz Garc\u00eda at the site of the accident.<\/p>\n

One relative of the deceased compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David said he was commissioned to leave a cross at the site.<\/p>\n

We started out toward the site, walking in two columns, with one compa\u00f1ero<\/em> showing us where exactly the accident that killed the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David had happened and where we would leave the cross. The compa\u00f1ero<\/em> sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s and the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> comandante Tacho began to clear the area, and another compa\u00f1ero<\/em> dug a hole in which to place the cross. Meanwhile the compa\u00f1eras<\/em> and compa\u00f1eros<\/em> of the CNI began to burn something like incense; they had brought embers in a small cup and they began to pray and sing in their ways of paying homage to the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David, who was a fighter. They expressed their pain at his death, and to see the compa\u00f1eras<\/em> and compa\u00f1eros<\/em> is to continue the path of struggle. They sang a song titled \u201cHeroes and Martyrs,\u201d and then climbed a small path to place the cross there. It is a rocky area, but they planted the cross with boughs of flowers and a candle. They prayed and sang again, and chanted \u201cvivas<\/em>,\u201d LONG LIVE DAVID, LONG LIVE GALEANO, and THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES, and applauded. One of compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David\u2019s compa\u00f1eros<\/em> in struggle said that compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David would be present here and in all of the struggles of our country. They brought a muslin cloth which was received by compa\u00f1ero<\/em> sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s who also spoke, affirming that the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David was with us, that he would stay with us here in rebellious territory, and that it was good that the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David had known where to give his life. Finally, one of the CNI members asked us to accompany him in singing the Zapatista anthem and then we returned.<\/p>\n

ANOTHER\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compa\u00f1eras<\/em> and compa\u00f1eros<\/em> here, August 4, 2014. Today was the inauguration for the National Indigenous Congress compa\u00f1eros<\/em>. First, comandante Tacho spoke. After he finished, compa\u00f1ero<\/em> sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s spoke and said that we would go to the site of compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David\u2019s accident. The compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David\u2019s family brought an iron cross and boughs of flowers and bean and corn seeds to the site, and they placed the cross there. They sang some songs for the compa\u00f1ero<\/em>. In truth, the family is very much in pain, but they are also very strong and they will follow the example of the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David who did not die just anywhere, but in Zapatista territory. After this was over, the family gave a handkerchief and an embroidered cloth to the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s. The compa\u00f1ero<\/em> sub comandante insurgente Mois\u00e9s then spoke, saying that the compa\u00f1ero<\/em> David had known where to give his life, and that he would always be with us. We then returned to continue our work.<\/p>\n

Note: \u201cOdd Ones Out,\u201d as their name indicates, are neither media, nor free, nor autonomous, nor alternative, but are rather more of the however-you-call-it type, but they are compas<\/em>\u2026 I think. They are a collective dispersed through calendars and geographies, and they would be completely anonymous except that their members\u2019 identity is given away by their rebellious irreverence. They are the EZLN mass media, and they function whenever they can, which is just once in a while. They are made up of human beings and animals, although sometimes you can\u2019t tell the difference between them. They include those who edit texts and images, put them into cyberspace, add and subtract and sometimes successfully publish something moderately comprehensible. Their logo is a cat-dog putting the rubber stamp where it should always go, that is, below and to the left. Formal registry for the Junta de Buen Gobierno <\/em>is still in process for the simple reason that they are currently all in the exchange.<\/p>\n
