This program recounts the story of the Movement for Justice in el Barrio, in East Harlem in New York. It explains how a movement of migrants has organized to defend itself against eviction. The Movement takes its inspiration directly from the Zapatistas, and their forms of organizing and struggling.
Pretendo ser una estudiosa de la construcción ciudadana y pienso que estos movimientos son los que toman conciencia del significado de ciudadanía para nosotros los latinoamericamos, me interesa ponerme en contacto con los que están es este movimiento Justicia por el Barrio, pues creo que dan una ética distinta a la idea de ciudadanía. ¿pueden ayudarme?
